Very Cool!!!!!

Outstanding
i havent had the opportunity to test 350 out of my AR on a soft target, looks like a capable round for home defense
Thank you
Thanks for watching Mark!
Awesome
Thanks for watching!
Really glad you did this video. I did plenty of research on which ammo to buy after I finally got my 350 legend deer rifle after the Illinois law change. My step dad always despised the Hornady SST slugs because he said they didn’t expand very well which left a lot to be desired on blood trails. I tried to explain that the Winchester copper extreme impact rounds while similar in design to a hornady SST slug the polymer on the end of the Winchester version actually explodes upon impact and expands where as the Hornady polymer tipped rounds in shotgun slugs are so well put together that it stays solid and just punches a hole through the deer. The extreme impact Winchester rounds actually work as designed which is basically like a hollow point. Except more aerodynamic with the polymer tips. He also didn’t understand that those types of rounds coming out of a rifle aren’t the same as a 20guage slug. I still used the Hornady SST’s all the way up until the law change because my 870 with the fully rifled barrel swap out and scope really liked them as far as accuracy goes but Idk. I will probably do a whole lot of my own ballistics gel test but your video should serve as proof to my cause lol.
Yo those 150gr extreme points are purty
😍😍😍
Looks like that 350 legend packs a punch and both those loading are very capable. Great video
💥💥💥
Just got the ruger American 350 legend, can't wait to try it out this deer season 💪🇺🇸🦌
This is why I'm so interested in this caliber for a short barreled rifle or AR pistol. This round loses very little velocity in a short barrel and imo would be great for hunting and for defensive purposes.
They really dropped the ball with this caliber by making it not take .358s” and making it unable to make the brass from once fired .223
@@rifleshooterchannel208
That I would agree on. However, in time the projectiles will be produced for better performance for a 350 legend for reloaders, but the brass aspect, I can't argue that at all.
@@rifleshooterchannel208 If you're reloading, running the bullets through a sizing bushing is trivial. You can do a box of a hundred in a couple minutes easily.
@@PineyJustice I would happily buy non standard bullets if the casing wasn't proprietary, that's what killed it for me.
@@rifleshooterchannel208 loaded ammo is cheap, 14$ a box or so for winchester white box. End up with plenty of empties that way.
I don’t know where Paul’s place is, but with all the gunfire it sounds like it’s in a good 2A friendly neighborhood. 🇺🇸🇺🇸
That’s crazy how that spark or explosion does in the gel
It's called sono-luminescence, it's from rapid expansion and then compression of an air pocket. Pretty cool
Roy Smith yeah it is cool. Puts me in mind of a diesel motor pressure and everything making a explosion 💥.
Love all that Freedom music. Awesome comparison of the 350 Legend. You ad your family have a blessed weekend.
GOD Bless and GOD Bless The Republic!!!
🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
You get my upvote for the SoL rebellious stripes. Hooah!
That’s my kind of neighbor
Man, glad you can keep pumping out new content! Just went out today to run my first 350 legend build, 10.5" pistol upper
Thanks for watching!
It's a shame no one makes factory 30 round mags.
Apparently you can mod PMAGs to handle either 28 or 29, though.
I'm wanting to build an SBR running 125 gr TUIs and 250 gr subsonics. Unsuppressed, and suppressed.
Great gel shoot!! Dig the BFR!!
Love the BFr!
On a couple of shots, in slo-mo, you could see the bullets exit out the back and fly across the range.
👍👍
Power points looked like they POUNDED that gel
💪💪
Outstanding power
That's a super nice pistol!
I like the van full of milk jugs
😁😁😁
Well looks like the standard tip would be best for deer and hog.
Great Video!!! Keep Up The Good Work!!!👍🇱🇷😁
🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
These rounds are awesome.. Looks like a sharpened pencil too
💥💥💥💪💪
Love that revolver! Cool neighbors!
I love it too!!!
Second shot made a whole mess 😂😂😂.. Kool that you caught the rounds
Funny just watched your review one the Ruger American then wanted to know about the ballistics and here you are again, great stuff
Have you taken a deer yet with the Bfr
Nope
Nice slo-mo shots, good looking video.
Why not get your self a pair of long nose pliers to help extract those bullets. That cut could have been worse.
👍👍
@@WHOTEEWHO Got a friend who is a Nurse or a Doctor,..maybe they can manage to find you a pair of surgical clamps that do the job perfectly. This is where I got mine!
Awesome as usual Adam, good smack down power from the 350
Bigtime power
Geesh! Tell your neighbor to quit making so much noise!
🤘😎🤘
Great video who tee who
Results are very informative
Thanks for watching Avery!
I love my 350 legend shot a big 9 point and the bullet hit double lung and was caught in rear thigh founs it cleaning the deer as well as my buddies broad tip from 30 days earlier!
Awesome!
How far did the deer run before dropping? I have heard a few reports of projectiles entering the chest cavity and ending up in the hind quarters
@@jonquirk9582 ran about 75 yards
I like seeing that explosion in the gel like that.
Me too!
WHO_TEE_WHO since the guy that owned the land where we hog hunted at passed away awhile ago I’m trying to figure out what is goin to happen on the hog permits brother. I’ll find out soon and let you know GOD BLESS.
Thanks for making that video now I made up my mind to make a 350 legend rifle. I have a 25-45 sharps I have yet to try.
Thanks for watching Aundre!
As you were digging out that first bullet I was thinking, “Man he should be wearing gloves.”
Yup!!!
Great video, thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
Thanks again. My 350 Legend is a Savage Axis with an 18" barrel. I'm sure these rounds would be effective on deer, hogs and other medium size game. Might not be too bad for personal defense.
This had better results than the other gel tests you did, on the 350 legend (shot from an AR15). Which tells me 2 things. You need to shoot the 350 legend from a pistol, in order to catch the rounds in 2 gel blocks. And the bullet design really matters, as to how well it will expand and mushroom!
Thanks for the info.
Shooting it from a pistol somehow makes it more likely to catch the rounds?
I would like to see this test with an AR-15 in .350 Legend
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I think it would stop an Elk. Back to Montana for you!
Absolutely
It’s like it was meant to be I just bought a ruger mpr in 350 legend today
Awesome!
Thanks for the video. Maybe because i'm a fan of the .30-30 I find myself more and more intrigued with the 350 Legend. With a 12 inch barrel in the AR platform I'm thinking it would make a great all around package for a hog gun, "truck gun" and a home defense gun.
😁loved watching the table legs dance. Who needs ballistic gel? Awesome video, thank you!
Hey buddy ? You're becoming more famous than Ted Nugent ! 👍😄
😝😝😝
That's nice expansion at that range from 10" barrel. That dude must be smoking along at around 2000fps when it hit the gell
Going fast!
That .350 Legend caliber continues to impress. Folks in restricted hunting caliber states like Ohio are loving it for deer hunting. Would be cool to have an AR in .350 Legend.
Cool to have both!
@@WHOTEEWHO That's always the best answer ;)
@@ChristianGrest from what I understand 350 legend can use the same standard bolt carrier as the AR-15 so all you really need is just the upper and a mag. I believe you can also run 300 blackout on the standard bolt carrier group as well
@@ChristianGrest I know Bear Creek arsenal and a couple other companies make 350 legend uppers. They're not a bad price either anywhere between 250 and 350 bucks (ish) not sure how much mags run.
@@alexvargas4668 yea they’re not too expensive and pretty popular. Just haven’t yet found the need for it. Ended up doing a 6.5 Grendel for hunting.
I'm really interested in an AR in this caliber.
The ar 410 looks bad ass
Don't you have one who_tee_who?
My LGS guy built a sweet AR 10.5 pistol in this. Man it is nice.
I will be building one next month for Uncle Don! I think it will be hog hammer👍🇺🇸
One of my Favriot deer hunting cartridge... just got done making up 400 rounds the 180gr Power Points using LiLGun....
180 grain pretty mushroom and excellent weight retention !!!
💪💪
Классный у тебя соседи)))
Great vid!!!!!
Thanks for watching!
Which revolver is your favorite
Hard to answer. If ammo price was same I'd pick sw500. But since that is sooo expensive I pick Taurus model 66
I wonder how hot can this cartridge be made, extreme tips demand extreme powder charges!
Love it!! I live in Virginia! They want to take that great noise away!
😱😱😱
@@WHOTEEWHO No comply from me! Let the games begin
What town is that shooting is ok to do in your yard I'm moving there
You need to set up an ar15 in 350 legend to make a perfect pair with that awesome revolver.
Have been shooting 350 legend in an AR. I think we filmed like 15 videos with it
Google
350 Legend vs. 357 !!
👍👍
Awesome WTW!!! 😁
Hey Chuck!
Yee yeee!!! Love the revolver
Yee yee!
Recoil doesn't look bad at all in the pistol.
Not bad at all
RebelRob34 it’s prob because the pistol is so heavy
@@aarongeddens3539 350 legend only has around 8.5 lbs of felt recoil in a 7lb rifle. Less felt recoil than a .243
You need a 444 marlin
Yes I do. Expensive gun and ammo tho
Adam milk jug test 10mm and 45acp. I got a Rock Island just like yours. But I'm buying a Glock 20 Thursday one of the welders that work with me won it. I really don't like a Glock but I'm getting it cheap. I'm going to trade it for something else
👍👍
that is an awesome wheel gun, nice!!
good podcast earlier. i asked you about the 12inch 45-70. i think its called a chiappa ridgerunner takedown. they run around 1600.00 up here. fun little rifle.
I'll have to look up that 4570
AWESOME 😉
Hey Doug!
@@WHOTEEWHO great to see you 😉 ttyl buddy
I saw cavitation. I like cavitation. Takes a powerful round to do that.
Good video except when you fire more then two bulletproof into gel. The bullet shreds the first part of the gel making anymore rounds not creditable. Ty
Gel is very expensive. 🤷♂️ not a perfect science experiment, just having fun
Awesome video always looking forward to what you are going to do next... Can you compare a 243 to the 308, 270, 30-06 and 30-30
Have compared all of those in maybe 100 videos already
....is that all?
Another awesome video. I’d love to see you take a Deer or Hog with either of those loads.
Me too!
Thanks for the gel test. Even from a short barrel the 350 is a hard hitter.
Hits hard! Thanks for watching!
@@WHOTEEWHO if I one wish the gun world... That they would make the 350 Legend in a lever action. Woohoo!
@@northwind9505 I'm sure someone will. Be expensive though
They some bad bullets! They can even hurt you after they have been shot!
🤣🤣🤣👍👍 true
I'm considering getting one of those revolvers chambered in 45 70
That would be awesome
Either you’re a beast at recoil control, or that round shoots lighter than it would seem. I woulda loved to see the gel blocks fly lol
350 is pretty tame
350L only has around 8.5lbs of recoil transfer to the shooter in a roughly 7lb rifle. . Around 10% less than 30-30, and 20% less than .243 win.
Maybe you could try the same test in
.223 rem. Thanks for the video
👍👍 thanks for watching!
At what range did you shoot the Gell?
20 yds maybe
Wow I did not expect a response from a 3 year old video! Thanks!
@gonzo38pp53 I answer every message. Thanks for watching!
my guess before you shoot, they get caught, but lose so much due to the short barrel, they don't expand properly, maybe they even will go right through. A good comparision would be to shoot them both from the rifle and the pistol, see if that really does make a difference.
Nope. Did you catch the chronograph video we did with it? Almost same speed as with the rifle
totally wrong once again.
@@WHOTEEWHO see second part of my comment, once again, totally wrong, but I was going with conventional wisdom, which is wrong, at least in this case.
Is that your WTW grocery getter in the background with the water jugs??
bfr big fat revolver aha
💪💪💥💥💥
Been following your channel for a little minute was wondering could you do 357 mag versus 357 maximum versus 357 Sig vs350 Legend vs ballistic gel also was wondering can 350 Legend bfr shoot 357 maximum and vice versa
Never seen a 357 maximum
What are the velocities of the 350 legend bullets shot from the BFR gun ?
Nice gin
How about a rifle gel test with Maker Bullets 150 grain 350 Legend.
That would be awesome
Great hearing you on Shooting Stuff Australia
I’ve got 350 legend in Ruger American go wild 22” battle with break
I’ve stuck in to the mdt chassis
And have not been able to shot it due to Melbourne being in a lock down
Long and short what’s your opinion
Kind regards
I need a 350 legend bolt action!
Are you going to do a buck hunting video showing your recommended Calibers?
Have been hunting hard all season. So far have only taken one buck with my 338 lapua. That video is already up on the channel
In the 10” barrel roughly u think ballisticly still a beast? And max effective range for in ur opinion..shows 250-300 out of a normal barrel
I'm almost 70, I think the BFR might break my wrist, but I'd try it anyway!
Nah you would do just fine
It depends on the caliber and load. If you can hold it up, and you've shot more than a few guns, you can probably handle 45-70 cowboy loads. They're stout, but it's not not a sharp recoil. Don't even think about the lever gun loads if recoil is a concern. They're ridiculous.
That's pretty sweet,I still don't know how you got a bfr in 350 I can't find one anywhere,I heard you mention in a video a while back you was up all night reforming the gel? What is your process for this I may just have to get some
Gel is super expensive. The gel in this video is $300. Not homemade. This is the very first 350 made by BFR. I'm sure you will be able to order one soon
@@WHOTEEWHO is the gel reusable like do you melt it and reform it or just shoot it and discard?
@@wolfmanrebel874 reusable. Melt it in a mold. Was clear. Gets foggier every time you melt it
@@WHOTEEWHO ahah!! That's what I thought,Im going to have to get some for further testing handloads, thank you
Hey mr who tee who can you do 243 vs ballistics gel thanks bud:)
Impressive👍🇺🇸
You need some long nose pliers! Lead is not a good metal for the blood stream👍
Warning.. May contain sharp edges.. Good video W.T.W..

Starting to like the .350 legend. Btw I couldn't get into the video of questions and answers.
