Thanks nerina I really appreciate you watching thanks a million 👊❤️❤️
A Rhino pot. Cool!
This is very creative and unique design. 👍
Thanks Jason mate 👊👊👊👊
Living up to the name… Bonsai Crazy! Epic example of the evolution of Bonsai. Good luck with Paul, the Australian Rhino!
😂😂😂 thanks loads Steve 👊👊
Great root system on this tree.
This pot is just insane!! Such a crazy one 😮😮😮
Thanks mate let’s hope it works 👊👊👊
I think it’s a great idea very creative. Cheers from Ojai Bonsai California.
Thanks loads my friend that’s very kind 🙏🙏
Watch out for more crazyness this year..
Valley eagle pot coming 👊👊👊
Inspiration leads to creation mate. The rhino keeps getting and better with age. Watching!
Thanks Paul 👊👊
Very cool idea Andy mate and its great to see this project come together 👊👊👊
This is certainly one of those projects that 'like a fine wine', will only get better with age
Thanks gav mate
A bit like me then 😂😂😂 👊
This is excellent mate! It's like a feature length film. I'm going to have to watch this in stages I reckon 😊. I'm loving your vision on this Andy. What a great piece of art
❤️❤️❤️ thanks Alex 👊👊
Paul the rhino! Both beasts 😁😉😆 absolutely bloody loved this project mate, what an inspiration 😎 you really are CRAZY!!!!! Xxx
Thanks Jonas 🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪 ❤️❤️
One massive undertaking. Root pruning, attaching the tree to the head and the placing of the roots. Very interesting technique that will pay off for you in the long run. Excellent video!!!
There is no better friend than one whom inspires you. I believe she wrote that book with Colin Lewis ! i would feel very honoured too 💚. I enjoyed the root work alot, its always a bit of a juggle knowing how many flawed roots to take away (at least for me that is always the dance lol). The clay anchors are genius (very cool that you picked that up from Tony) . I am starting to see where you are going with this and have a lot of thoughts on what this means.....its deeper meanings, but on the surface i see the tree and rhino sharing a similar story....between life and death they are ( for the rhino quite literally and for the larch compositionally). this is nothing short of art Andy...because it makes you think...that is art. Loved the chat with the neighbor, you deserve the accolades. Thankyou Paul ! (@thetreestyler)💚💚💚 Andy...you did it man, great work 🤜🤛
Clay muck and vet tape. The man definitely left his mark. RIP Tony
An absolutely incredible piece of work Andy. I was wondering how you were going to stop those long exposed roots from drying out - like the approach. So glad you have had such contact with Suchin and I will follow this with lots of interest. Cheers
Thanks xav.
It was a real surprise to get such a nice email from her offering advice n giving encouragement, lovely to call her my friend ❤️
Thanks mate I really hope it survives. 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞👊👊❤️
I’d say you have the first root over rhino 🦏 in the world hope the tree makes it best of luck cheers 😮
Thanks James
So do I mate 💪❤️
Thanks for watching James 👊👊
I agree with Kennet on this Andy
I’d be a little concerned about the roots drying out🤔
The pot looks epic though great job bro👊🏻
I think you may be surprised. At least I really hope 😂😂😂😂😂 thanks for watching Dan mate 👊👊
I’ll be obsessed with keeping the moisture in there 4 times a day in summer or more.
And that’s why I gave the roots free run on the ground as well.
The Tree, no doubt. We’ll just concentrate on roots this year and they’ll not be much growth.
At least that’s what I reckon 👊👊
What a creative project Andy. Looking forward to both watching its creation (might take a couple sittings) and following its progress. Being recognized for your creativity by someone you admire is truly something special. Thanks, keep growing.
Thanks Matt
Yeah it’s really cool she reached out to me totally unexpected, she’s a really nice lady,
I hope it survives 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞
Thanks Matt 👊👊
@@Bonsaicrazy Many of these challenging projects are learning experiences. Keep a close eye on, make notes, and above all, don’t get discouraged. It has the potential to be extraordinary
@@mattbrennan647 thanks I’ll do that Matt 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Suchin Ee is selling that sodishojo maple forest. If you’re interested 👊
@@Bonsaicrazy . Andy, last year I sent Jonas some Connecticut red maples which he did a short on in fall. The colors are quite spectacular. I know you have a lot of trees but if you’d like some let me know ✌🏻
This is awesome! It is an incredible work of art! I’m excited to watch this grow!
Thanks Dave mate
How’s you fella ? 👊👊👊👊
@@Bonsaicrazy Of course! I've been suuuuuuper busy with work and life, but I'm hoping things will calm down in the next few weeks. But i'm still here, so I can't complain to much. I'm so excited for spring I have so much pruning and repotting to do!
Hi Andy, Its been a period of low energy for me which is how life is some times. After watching your video I feel some of that energy returning and it made me think not inwards but outwards. Take care mate and I will have even more vested interest in the rhino creation now. Cheers Paul. 😁
You’ve been throwing the videos out, left right and centre. Paul didn’t seem like you had low energy mate !!
Always best to look outwards mate and be positive. Glad I can help you out fella in some small way.
You should try making a crazy pot yourself mate !!
Paul the first Australian rhino 😂😂👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Real labour of love this one Andy, it is a monster of a project from watching you starting to create the project that you saw in your head all that time ago, the project goes on into the future getting better and better. One thing occurred to me that no one is going to pick this up and nip off with it, you did a sterling job with the film wrap in the wind, it is difficult enough wrapping anything with it but to get that done gets my admiration mate. All the best with the crazy project.
Arrr thanks joe
I just hope I can keep it alive, let’s face it it’s a hell of a long shot but it’s fun trying 😂
I used to wrap up pallets of Pringle boxes as a job for a while. There’s definitely a knack to it 😂😂😂
Thanks for you continued support Joe means a lot mate 👊👊
Fantastic Andy🎉hope you're well dude👍🏻
Yeah really good thanks mate
How’s you ??
@@Bonsaicrazy not to bad thanks 👍🏻✌🏻

(New entry)
Not only does it look great, but finaly someone comes with something new and exiting!
Keep up the good work bro, and keep us updated.
grts
Kennet
ps: maybe a wet towel in the sun might help these roots...
Good shout Kennet hadn’t thyof that thanks mate 👊👊👊
Great work bud looks amazing I hope the tree survives 🤞
Great video andy. Love what your doing with this project. I wouldnt worry about the roots to much. With all the cling film you have essentially created a greenhouse 😁 look forward to the next update 😁😁
Thanks Callan
I’m gonna worry for a hole year 😂😂😂
@@Bonsaicrazy it's only natural to worry. But I'm sure it's all in good hands 🙌 😆
What about plain old twine to tie in the tree. It will rot away and therefore lessen the use of wire. Just a thought.
Good idea Tom that’s a fantastic idea mate I’ll do that
Thanks for that Tom 👊👊
Hey Andy, one small improvement mate iif i could suggest s let that smaller horn poke through the roots so its visible. I thinks that would look awesome. Love your crazy ness and vision!
That’s the plan fella in the end 👊
Did you watch the end bit bro ??
I did mate just finished. Very humbled mate@@Bonsaicrazy
1:01:55 what an awesome video andy, lots of time and effort has got you to this point,im chuffed youve finally got to get a tree on it 😍😍
Such a great way to thank our pauly @thetreestyler too mate
Thanks Dan. I really hope it survives bro 👊👊👊👊👊❤️
i think you’d do well to have those roots survive, probably would’ve been better off covering with soil and larger particles around the roots you want exposed and then expose them gradually over time, fair play if it works but i’ve never seen exposed root done like this before
I think you need knee guards when working in the soil on the ground. Keeps the knees nice and safe.
Hahaha probably Tom I am feeling my age 😂😂
That looks sick
Do the roots need burying along with pot and exposed gradually over a few years, I’ve a tree over a rock that I set up a few years ago, but the roots are the engine room and need to be looked after. Im two years exposing Dwayne and it’s about 4 inches roots exposed, in spring it’s another go at them lol. Good for you to be confident in your actions knowing how Larch can get grumpy mate.
Hello Sir, I saw your UA-cam channel and understand you are a UA-camr. Very nice video on your channel, I really enjoyed it. Total 860+ subscribers and a Total of 206+ Uploaded videos of your channel. I noticed one thing according to your channel your channel videos are not viewed and subscribed. You need to optimize your channel and do video SEO to reach your target audience. Otherwise, if you upload videos to your channel throughout the year, none of your videos will get viral views. If your channel is optimized a little and if the videos are SEO then your channel will rank very fast and your channel will grow. And monetization of your channel will be on.
I would like to help you in this matter. Looking forward to your reply, thanks
