Oh no! That’s painful. Did you get back in the car? This is quite common and usually happens when the whole key is lost, and when it’s replaced, the person who codes a new key doesn’t have the tools or skills to decide the lock and cut a blade. Or, if it’s a repossession, and sold at auction, this is very common. To get a blade there are three ways. Firstly order one from Renault, you’ll need some ID and the V5. Or, ask your local car key man to do it. Or lastly, replace the lock with one that has a blade Hope this helps
all very well but how do you clear the message on the dash display? yes the old battery was at 30% and yes the new battery checked out at 100% but still have message, spare key likewise

Hi Geoff, Not sure to be honest. I'll have a look to see if I can find out. In the mean time, can you let us know if it clears itself please?
@@TheCarKeyMan thanks for the quick reply. Quickest ever. 😁😁

My remote key is working, but the auto lock feature isn't working. How can I fix it?

Hi, I've seen this a few times but never got to the bottom of why the Auto Lock stops working. Did it used to work?
