BIfi products (especially Bifi Roll) are a very practical invention for journeys: They do not crumble or grease and you do not have to buy the expensive food on the train station. I always have it with me when I travel by train for some hours.
Can everybody explain to me why are "Twinkies" so common in the US? For me, a German guy it taste like a unflavored cake with some white shave foam inside. I tried it cold, I tried it warm and I tried in room temperature. Nothing changes the taste. The birds in the park are also not interested in Twinkies

@@bern6543 even more disturbing, they called it a normal joghurt. I like to eat Fruchtzwerge every now and then, but I would never even think about calling that a joghurt. That would be like calling Capri Sun a juice.
@@SamVimes27 Ein anderer Kommentar sagt, Fruchtzwerge werden aus Quark und Frischkäse hergestellt. Ich weiß, ich konnte es auch nicht glauben. Müssen wir mal wieder kaufen und einfrieren.
And I always thought they were made of sugar, aroma and food colour... Back in the day the advertisement claimed they were "as valuable as a little steak", with healthy, active children and proud, relaxed parents in the TV spot.
So weird! The chocolate, milk cream and caramel mix of Choco Fresh and Maxi King is the best of all. I‘d say most Germans would prefer the refrigerated treats over the regular ones. Pingui is also nice. Why the comparison to ice cream?
I know, right? I would never compare the refrigerated treats to icecream or even think of them this way. There is just something really refreshing about chilled Creams-treats. They are not meant to be eaten like ice cream sandwiched or s.th alike, but more like a fresher candy bar, really.
I was also wondering about the ice cream comparison. I never even thought about that eating Kinder treats all these years. To me this is a complete different category of sweet treat not an in between thing.

About Ahoy Brause. I once demonstrated to a good friend of mine how to eat/drink it. „One way is in a glass with water. The other is package open, mouth wide open and-„ *chokes on the sourness and pulvere*
On parties we used to also drink them with vodka. Pour the sour pulver in your mouth, then one shot of vodka, mix in your mouth and try not to choke before you swallow. Gets immediately to your head 😂
Notably, while Ferrero IS an Italian company, it does have production sites in Germany and has products either currently or historically specific for the German market.
Kinder was never produced specifically for the German market, there are no kinder products “not sold” in Italy and “sold” in Germany. Kinder is Italian chocolate produced by an Italian company and created-invented in Italy in 1968. Kinder is also sold in tens of other countries in the world. Ferrero has had a manufacturing plant in Germany since 1956, and has currently production in 25 factories worldwide, corporate presence in 55 countries and distribution in 125.
The Kinder story began in 1968 in the centre of Alba - a beautiful small town in Northern Italy. Here, an original idea blossomed into the Kinder we know and love today. 😁😁😁😁😁

to me, Hanuta (HAsel-NUß-TAfel = Hazelnut plate) will always be the original. i only saw Knoppers many years (decades?) later, when everybody started eating creamy things like all that kinder pengui/schnitte/etc. but i have to admit that Knoppers had the more memorable tv commercials at 1/2 10 ...
@@Anson_AKB Did Knoppers really came out that much later? Maybe that's the reason - because I got to know both of them at once. And yeah, I think eeeeveryone knew that Knoppers commercial. XD I would be lying If I said it propopsbly didn't influence me in some way
I love how you immediately start to pull the schnecken apart, not sure if someone told you that's how to eat them, but that's the correct way 😂 I've seen people bite the whole thing and it has the same energy as people biting a whole kitkat haha
Oh wow, I could never even come up with the idea, that there might be some strange people being concerned about something as harmless as candys and unhealthy food in small amounts for one day, thinking it would damage the embryo. I'm speechless, just wow!
A few more suggestions: "Katjes Kinder" (hard licorice) "Schaumküsse" (very light marshmallow) "Halloren Kugeln" (Special chocolates from the former GDR) "Bambina" (filled chocolate bar from the former GDR) "Esspapier" (oblate) "ABC Russisch Brot" (letter cookies) "Knabber Uhren" (candy watches) "Liebesperlen" (tiny sugar pearls in a feeding bottle)
It not really marshmallow in "Schaumküsse". It's whipped egg white. Marshmallows have a more solid, sticky and sugary consistency, while Schaumküsse are creamy. Or to put it another way...a marshmallow would bounce off, if you tossed it at someone's head, while a Schaumkuss would stick in his hair. :D
Toffifee is the best thing ever, but the ads are lying to us all: a whole family, peacefully sharing one single package? That's impossible, never-ever^^ Usually it goes one package per person, at least with everyone I know. Bifi Carazza and Bifi Rolls are one of the main food items for football fans on away games, bc most of the bus drivers don't stop at gas stations with Burger King's for some reason so one had to make do with whatever they sell at gas stations :D so I ate a LOT of them before I became a vegetarian. That grave stone thing cracked me up, I actually threw away a whole bucket of Ahoj Brause I found in my late dad's things, they were five years old, I think, and tasted really weird.
@@PassportTwo that was probably fine, the clumping is due to the moisture making its way into the packaging. I have eaten like 2+ year old ahoi Brause. Worst it could do is upset your stomach. Don't think it even is enough for a proper food poisoning :D

the sherbet powder is called Ahoj Brause, the little line over the u used to be a thing in old German writing where n and u were written the same and needed a way to differentiate. Some older people still use it even when using more modern cursive (at least some of my teachers did 20 years ago)
I sometimes add that dash when my handwriting's on the bad side to add clarity. It's still well-known enoūgh to be ūnderstood, like naïve/naive in English.
Liquorice is a North - South thing! In the North of Germany they mostly love it and the more South you move the less people you will find that like liquorice. The Dutch are even bigger liquorice fans than the North Germans!

Disgusting. Yogurette tastes best when refrigerated or frozen and the refrigerated snacks don't try to be like ice cream at all. Many kids take them to school with them as a sweet treat during breaks. For the "sour" part: I loved sour sweets as a child, but now they are just too rough on my teeth and palate. I love licorice in all forms and shapes but apparently it is a very Northern German thing. An Austrian friend of mine told me that she never had licorice before she moved to Hamburg
I think the mild Lakritzschnecken are popular throughout but harder, more intensive ones (like the little kitten shaped ones from Katjes) or the very intense salty Danish? liquorice are certainly acquired tastes even for adults and many children won't eat them at all. And it might be a northern German or even Scandinavian preference.

While Kinder/Ferrero are not German companies, a lot of their candy are designed for the German market in particular. Also I don't think any of the refrigerated snacks are trying to be like ice cream, maybe these kind of soft "milk creams" are just less common in the US and more of a European thing. Also I'm not sure Germans don't like sour, the people who like it usually just source those products from Dutch companies or others. Similarly to the stereotype that we don't like spicy, there are some people that like it extremely spicy. I for example put extra hot chili oil and other spices into almost everything and I also like it extra sour.
That’s not true, we have lots of sour gummies like Hitschler saure Drachenzungen, Haribo Pasta Frutta, Trolli Dinorex or Katjes Wunderland Sauer. Among those drachenzungen are probably the sourst. Hitschler, Trolli and Katjes are all German companies. They are also often vegan because they don’t need beeswax on their surface.
@@D4BASCHT No matter what they are called most people that like sour stuff wouldn't even consider those sour. They are sour-ish at best. That's like talking about spicy seasoned food and then saying you use salt and pepper and a bit of chili flakes.
not true, a very limited number of products are sold only in Germany and were thought for Germany or any other single market (Hanuta is one) and they are all anyway by Ferrero, Italian products from a 100% Italian company, in fact even Hanuta is made with Nutella, the super famous global Ferrero cream (in other countries they have different Nutella biscuits and snacks). The great majority of products sold in the 125 countries worldwide by Ferrero are also common to other markets, although not all the markets usually, as products get introduced slowly in different countries to maintain high profitability.
oh wow Aubrey! Pregnancy suits you well, you look sooo beautiful and bright today! I confess I've missed you. :) Well you both love Toffifee and yes, it is a real classic! My BF always says "don't gift me one, once opened I can't stop until it is empty!" I am 60 years old now, and my favorite classic is Hanuta. (btw. short form for "HAselNUssTAfel" - hazelnut board). I remember the days in summer when we kids went to the public "Freibad" (outdoor pools) to swim and splash around, which made us hungry. Then counting the money our parents handed us for this day. Calculating how many Hanuta we can get for it. And then running to the Snack Bar to grab as much as possible! We ate them sitting in the meadow, wrapped in our towels and were simply happy! But my definite favorite is what didn't impress you much: Kinder Pingui. I am too old to call it a "classic" yet, but I love love love it, just because of the texture and the cream. There is a game attached to the black licorice schnecken: you unroll it, then hold one end between your lips and then eat it with no hands/hands behind your back. That was a party game for the kids back in my day (and still is). We have the liquorice equator in Germany. Most people in the south tend to hate liquorice whereas the more north you go you'll find more and more people who love it. The only one in my family + extended family who liked liquorice was my grandpa from my mom's side. 1 person out of about 20 people. We all just left the liquorice from the Color Rado for him. At times there were 5 open bags, 4 with only liquorice left.
Funfact: Ahoj Brause is also liked by teenagers. They use it for Schüttelkorn or Schüttelvodka. You put one package of it into your mouth, add a shot of Korn or vodka and then shake your head.^^
If you want to try some more liquorice, try "Katjes Katzenkinder". They're a bit harder to chew than "Haribo Lakritzschnecken" but also taste better, in my opinion. And my favourite, but takes slightly more effort to prepare: Vanillepudding, like "Dr. Oetker Pudding Vanille-Geschmack" (or any other brand), the kind where you have to cook the milk. When the instructions talk about "2 tablespoons of sugar", do not flatten the sugar on the spoons, use as much as they will hold. And when they tell you to cool the pudding down, ignore that and eat it as warm as possible, either as it is or with a copious amount of "Schokostreusel" (let them melt a bit). And another childhood favourite of mine: Banana-Milk. Take about 0.75l of milk ("Vollmilch"), 3.5% or more fat, put a banana into it, add a tea spoon of honey (experiment on how much is best) and a raw egg (so this might not be ideal for Aubrey at the moment). Then mix it really well (one of those Blender-style mixers works best). (/edit: almost forgot the banana here)
3:33 Fruchtzwerge are actually made of curd. I can understand that these aren't going to blow your mind. That's probably because you've tried them now that you're adults. Many Germans grew up with the "Fruchtzwerge". They are popular with children. That's why the cups aren't particularly big. Mostly there was the Fruchtzwege as a small dessert or something for in between. As a child you were always happy about one
Please try Yes (mini cake), Nappo (Dutch nougat) in the small version, Scho-Ka-Kola (chocolate with coffee and cola nut extract or powder) Katjes Lakritz Batzen (mildly salted, very aromatic liquorice) and Haribo Vulcano (very sour). Also please don't bite candy in half which does not need to. Hint for getting Toffifee out of the box: Take the plastic tray out and just press from the bottom side. The candy will easily pop out. For liquorice lovers, I would recommend Sallos X-Presso, which contains espresso and has a somehow elegant taste, and Sallos X-Treme, which is salty liquorice candy, filled with pure ammonium chloride. In my childhood, I sometimes got Salmiakpastillen, also salty liquorice, but not nearly as strong as Sallos X-Treme.
10:03 In Bavaria we call liquorice "Bärendreck"( literally "bear dirt" or "bear shit"). For me it tastes just like that. 10:18 Yogurette is better stored in the refrigerator and also eaten cold. Especially in summer. I like the version with the blueberry flavor better. However, you don't find them that often. 15:50 I eat Hanuta in a special way. I'll take down a waffle first. Then eat the filling and then the other waffle.
Also you have to try "Erfrischungsstäbchen". Most of the time you will find it in the normal sweets area but in my opinion they belong in the fridge. They taste great especially in summer.

You really have to tried frozen Fruchtzwerge. In the summertime they often come with "sticks" because they knew how popular this was by kids. Simply put a Icecreamstick - or just a small teaspoon - in it (while they are stil lclosed. punch through the lid). chill them for a day. enjoy.
What a selection...half of the stuff isn't actually that good, but has really, really good advertising. The only thing I would recommend is the Toffifee, the Hanuta and the Liquorish (if you are into Liquorish). Btw, the thing with specifcally the "Schnecken" is that they are a stable at children birthdays, because there are a number of games you can play with them (yes, really). Oh, and the idea that Germans don't like sauer...yeah, wrong. I mean we eat Rhubarb! You can't go more sauer than that without sucking on a lemon. We even have a saying "Sauer macht lustig".
The Bifi ones are a great snack to throw in to your backpack when going on a trip. Especially when you have to transit to a different train, and you have 4 minutes to pick something out of the snack vending machine when hunger strikes :D
Ferrero took Germany by storm in the late 1960s with children's chocolate. As a child I was very fond of it. I was already too old for Fruchtzwerge when they came out. One of my favorites has always been Hanuta. I hardly eat anything sweet anymore, I'm more the chip type.
When i started my jobtraining ( Lehre) in 1982, you could order meals at the ,training center', this contained allways a sweet dessert. One day this was a Fruchtzwerg. One of the boys was disappointed: A ,Fruchtriese' ( fruit giant) would be better!

The correct way to enjoy Ahojbrause is Schüttelkorn. Think of it as a north German equivalent to tequila shots. You pour one pack directly into your mouth, follow it up with one shot of Korn (it's basically a wheat spirit), you shake your head to mix up the powder and alcohol, then swallow before it finds another way out.
One of my running jokes is how Americans will shove half a Whopper or Big Mac into their mouth but you give them a small, dainty chocolate and they hold it with 2 fingers and bite a tiny bit out of it. This especially cracks me up 3 seconds after I tell them NOT TO bite in in half because it's filled with alcolhol and then it runs out all over their clothes.
When it comes to licorice, I never really liked it but I love Salzdiamanten. Diamond shaped licorice covered in sugar. They're more sweet than licorice flavoured, in my book.
I‘m sure hundreds if not thousands of viewers already mentioned this, so let me be the 1001st. What we did, when we were kids and what kids today probably are still doing, is sticking a popsicle stick into the closed Fruchtzwerg and put it in the freezer over night, in order to get sweet little frozen yoghurt popsicles. Afaik the company who makes Fruchtzwerge (Danone?) offered those popsicle sticks made out of plastic and ready for your dish washer. 😊 And nice to see Aubrey again in a video. 🙂 But despite the disclaimer at the beginning, you gave her the one candy that could be actually damaging to the baby if consumed in high doses. So I‘m glad that your combined rating is so low, that Donnie probably won‘t put them on your regular shopping list. 😉 Yes, but only if we save summertime. 🙂

In all of my almost 62 years on this planet, I never had a Fruchtzwerg. But nicknaming Howard 'Fruchtzwerg' (original name: Fruity Loops) in the Big Bang Theory was a stroke of genius by the translator, especially since they could have easily kept the original. As for licorice: I absolutely hate it. It's more of a Northern Germany habit. Vice versa: I love sour treats.
half of our family loved Lakritze (especially my grandmother and also my mother loved those snails, which have to be unrolled to a long thread for eating them), the others hated it. and i may not vote for or against because i can't eat it without getting a "breath cramp" for 1-2 minutes where everybody else thinks that i'll die from getting no air (and to me it also feels like that), and for this effect i even only need to have a short lick at it.
I assume from your comment that Fruit Loops exist in Germany, but instead of using that term they made it even more insulting "zwerg" cuz he's not a tall man?
If you haven't already and you like cheese: Saurer Käs from Swabia. It's Limburger or Romadour cheese cut in thin cuts, thinly sliced red onions, s&p, sweet paprika powder, red wine vinegar on top. Cover that with some foil and put it in the fridge for half an hour to soak. Arrange it like Caprese, so onions, cheese, onions, cheese... Let it out for a few minutes before eating, so it gets back to room temps. Beware! Both are stenchy ones, but lose it because of the vinegar. Eaten with some good Holzofenbrot or anything similar.

Nice to see Aubrey again and that she's doing well. 😊 In clubs a package of Ahoj Brause is often handed out together with a shot of vodka called “Porno Vodka”. One puts the brause into one's mouth, keeps it there and then drinks the vodka... 😅 My suggestion would be Nimm 2 LachGummi Softies in its various variants (gummi ones, joghurt ones, filled ones and especially the joghurt filled ones). 😍 And Katjes Yoghurt Gums. 😁 I definitely would abolish DST. CET all year round, please.
I'm from Germany and for me it's so entertaining to see what you who come from an other culture think about us. But the Lakritz things aren't so popular but it's like 50% of the Germans love it and 50% hate it.
I think all Kinder products are too sweet for grown-ups. At least for my personal grown-up taste. Have you ever had Choclait Chips or Choco Crossies - both by Nestlé? They are my favorite popular snacks that have been around for a long time. Do you have them in the U.S.? My favorite Paprika chips are Kessel Chips Sweet Paprika. But the most nostalgic ones (feels like they were the only ones that existed when I was a kid) are Funny Frisch Ungarisch. A classic, if not THE classic type of Paprika chips in Germany. Question of the day: I would rather abolish standard time than daylight savings time.

Oh the DST question is a hot one here in the US right now. The Senate just passed a bill to make DST permanent, but the house is kind of sitting on it and I’m expecting some pushback from some people there. Since I live on the very eastern edge of a time zone I would love it if DST were permanent. There’s no way I could live with standard time being permanent because in the middle of the summer having the sun come up at 4:15 AM I think I would lose my mind. But I can understand some people who live on the western edge of their time zone having the sun not come up until around 9 AM in the middle of the winter is kind of a bummer. I was surprised that they didn’t include some means of allowing areas to move one time zone west at the time of the change as part of the legislation. That would give communities that are concerned about late sunrises the option to essentially move to full-time standard time but instead just being on DST one time zone west.
You should try Hanuta Riegel it's like Hanuta but with a layer of milk inside and chocolate on the outside. Also the best gummibears is the Nimm 2 Lachgummi Softies. For chips in my opinion the Funny Frisch Paprika are the best ones, non paprika falvourd are the naturals chips with rosemary.

Ferrero Rocher and Ferrero Raffaello are two exquisite treats, several steps above most of this stuff (possible exception of Toffifee). Be careful what you say about Knoppers, or you‘ll have Nalf to answer to! Black licorice is a foul, vile, disgusting substance IMHO! Sometimes there will be stands of hard candies at underground stations or fairs, and the smell of the licorice spreads out at least 2 meters. I hold my breath when walking past. Do away with winter time and just make so-called daylight savings time the norm.

Notably, while Ferrero IS an Italian company, it does have production sites in Germany and has products either currently or historically specific for the German market.
Yes. Whenever I go to an Italian grocery store / importer (Andronaco comes to mind), I see a totally different range of Kinder and Ferrero products.
@Name Player ahahaha very funny but not true, Kinder is just a brand of Ferrero. There is nothing German in Ferrero and in Kinder.
The Kinder story began in 1968 in the centre of Alba - a beautiful small town in Northern Italy. Here, an original idea blossomed into the Kinder we know and love today. 😁😁😁😁😁

"Bambina" (filled chocolate bar from the former GDR)
"Esspapier" (oblate)
"ABC Russisch Brot" (letter cookies)
"Knabber Uhren" (candy watches)
"Liebesperlen" (tiny sugar pearls in a feeding bottle)
It not really marshmallow in "Schaumküsse". It's whipped egg white. Marshmallows have a more solid, sticky and sugary consistency, while Schaumküsse are creamy.

The great majority of products sold in the 125 countries worldwide by Ferrero are also common to other markets, although not all the markets usually, as products get introduced slowly in different countries to maintain high profitability.
They are not only sold in Germany 🇩🇪 that is a thing you can almost get in all countries okay friend
The biggest flex is to get the chocolate off of the Toffifee without breaking the chocolate piece xD
oh wow Aubrey! Pregnancy suits you well, you look sooo beautiful and bright today! I confess I've missed you. :)
Well you both love Toffifee and yes, it is a real classic! My BF always says "don't gift me one, once opened I can't stop until it is empty!"
I am 60 years old now, and my favorite classic is Hanuta. (btw. short form for "HAselNUssTAfel" - hazelnut board).
You will never see me coming out of a supermarket without one 😉

You should drive to one of the Haribo Stores/Haribo Werksverkauf. I know one in Neuss but there are more in Germany. You will be blown away by the variety of Haribo there.
I don't really like sour candy but if you want to try one, then it has to be Center Shock Chewing gums. Especially Apple.

There is a game attached to the black licorice schnecken: you unroll it, then hold one end between your lips and then eat it with no hands/hands behind your back. That was a party game for the kids back in my day (and still is). First one to have swallowed their whole snail win :D
Edit: Hanuta is also so nostalgic because during the world championships there would be a sticker of a national football team member in each of them that were then traded on the school playgrounds.

Hope you enjoy germany, best regards from aachen :)
Thanks! 😃
May I suggest retro-candy like Eiskonfekt Schocklinsen (the pink and white ones tasting of mint), and Schokorosinen?
Jaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!
Funfact: Ahoj Brause is also liked by teenagers. They use it for Schüttelkorn or Schüttelvodka. You put one package of it into your mouth, add a shot of Korn or vodka and then shake your head.^^
Try Raffaelo from Ferrero and Bounty. I‘m sure you will rank it close to 10.
The cool thing about the Fruchtzwerge is you can freeze them and it's kinda icecreamy
As for sour treats, I really like Glühwürmchen from Trolli.
10:03 In Bavaria we call liquorice "Bärendreck"(
literally "bear dirt" or "bear shit").
The way you eat a Hanuta sounds like how I eat an Oreo 😅
You live south of the liquorice equator, so no surprise. Try Scandinavian salty liquorice for a real shock.
me, too. eat the hanuta this way is the best u can do
@@PassportTwo
Hanuta is like Nutella between waffles. Not eually but very similar.
Nur mal eine Frage. Du hast schon mal Bärendreck gegessen? Und zwar nicht Lakritze...
Also you have to try "Erfrischungsstäbchen". Most of the time you will find it in the normal sweets area but in my opinion they belong in the fridge. They taste great especially in summer.
I personally absolutely love Knoppers, it's a bit like Hanuta but different
the only problem with Knoppers is that you are only legally allowed to eat them at 9:30 AM
@@CathrineMacNiel But only if it's 9:30 AM in Germany! Regardless of where you're in the world!

The Kinder story starts in 1968, in the heart of the small town of Alba, Italy. Here, Michele Ferrero developed a heartfelt idea that would grow into the Kinder brand we know today
You really have to tried frozen Fruchtzwerge. In the summertime they often come with "sticks" because they knew how popular this was by kids.
Simply put a Icecreamstick - or just a small teaspoon - in it (while they are stil lclosed. punch through the lid). chill them for a day. enjoy.
So nice to have you both together on the screen again, thank you for that!
:)
We even have a saying "Sauer macht lustig".
fun thing you can do with fruchtzwerge, put a small spoon inside and put it into the freezer, that was amazing when i was young
The Bifi ones are a great snack to throw in to your backpack when going on a trip.
Especially when you have to transit to a different train, and you have 4 minutes to pick something out of the snack vending machine when hunger strikes :D
As a german i hate when products are advertised as sour while not being sour at all. Which sadly is most of them :(
Ferrero took Germany by storm in the late 1960s with children's chocolate.
@@brittakriep2938 A typical boys answer. Haha.

At Snack 10: some madmans open the bag and dump it whole into their mouth
The Kinderschokolade things are all recent. In my childhood in the 60s there was Haribo and Ahoi Brause, which we call Brausepulver. As kids we didn't drink it, we licked it out of our hands. The amount of water (tap water) for a pack is 100-150 ml. My favorite are the snails and the Brausepulver. And I love sour!
Or as a kind of German Tequila. Korn and Ahoi Brause. Use the Brause like the Salt. No need for a lemon though.

@U. S. Tequila is not German, that is Mexican dude my friend 😃😃😎😎
You have to try HARIBO "Piratos" Lakritz( nur für Erwachsene, adults only) mit 6,99% Salmiak Salz
The one and only real good German Lakritz!
Yes, I agree on that one dude my friend 😃😁😊😊😎😎👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🤜🏻🤛🏻🍺🍺🍻
And nice to see Aubrey again in a video. 🙂 But despite the disclaimer at the beginning, you gave her the one candy that could be actually damaging to the baby if consumed in high doses. So I‘m glad that your combined rating is so low, that Donnie probably won‘t put them on your regular shopping list. 😉
Yes, but only if we save summertime. 🙂
I would say the most popular sour "snack" in Germany would be some form of Center Shock.
I eat sour snacks but I don't like them too sour either.

@@LexusLFA554 You’re welcome dude my friend 😊😁😃😎👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Its also kind of popular to put the "Brausepulver" in your mouth and than take a shot of "Korn" (it's a sort of liquor made out of grains)
@@LythaWausW Insulting? I rather think it's funny in a sitcom context cause Fruchtzwerg hits it home in so many ways.

Beware! Both are stenchy ones, but lose it because of the vinegar.

nice collection - for me (born december 86) - couldn't think of much more of snacks and co from my childhood
as far as I can recall the variety wasn't so big either back then and most of these "big" brands just carried over while most of the smaller (copy and paste) stuff vanished real fast
ferrero - giotto, mon cheri, after eight, raffaello etc.
most of the stuff you had was specifically designed as a easy snacks while you are on somewhere walking, driving, etc. or little rewards parents could give to the kids etc
could check the (old) commercials for most of these snacks which connected them to a special target group / activity etc which adds to the nostalgia part
like knoppers for mornins 9:30 in germany or milchsnitte as the "light snack not too heavy" for after sport etc...
only names I could think off in addition right now are "frufru kinderquarck" bit like fruchtzwerge but in a donut shape which was supposed to resemble a ufa with a toy capsule in the ring center
(but these didn't survive), werthers echte - caramel drops and karnevals kamelle beyond its expiration date (if you ever are in need of easy to dispose of blnt objects...)

My suggestion would be Nimm 2 LachGummi Softies in its various variants (gummi ones, joghurt ones, filled ones and especially the joghurt filled ones). 😍 And Katjes Yoghurt Gums. 😁
I definitely would abolish DST.
