Most Seward residents were watching on big screens at local residents around our boat harbor, when she won you could hear the eruption of people yelling! So Awesome!

My friend and I were watching this while on the phone. We were screaming through the phone at each other ...go go go. Then we saw the video of the children's reaction. Both of us hesitated and simultaneously said...Unbelievable. BTW we are 66 and 68 years old.

Alaska has more coastline than all other states COMBINED and almost 50,000 miles of shoreline if you count all of our islands. Many Alaska high school students have to pass a swimming test to graduate. I’m not sure why everybody is so surprised that we have such an amazing swimmer from our state, we are very much ocean people! #alaskaproud 🌊
