Fu Xuan can die more easily in Sim Uni modes so I believe Aventurine will be better than her in that aspect, especially if you don't have Gepard.

She increases max hp and crit rate reduced dmg and take it to her with reducing it again by 65 heal herself by 85% heal the entire team by an okay amount of hp I think she is the most important character in game other than ruan mei
@@Hannvibal Aventurine gives Def, Effect Res and Crit dmg to the whole team so if you really think about it, Fu and Aven are equal in value

Interesting. Im new to the game and so far the only event 5 star i have is ratio. But my question is, can mono team be effective? What about enemies weaknesses (esp if you dont have silverwolf)? How does that work?
@@vermilion6966 Mono Teams are mostly effective if the weakness type is there and without Silver Wolf you can't really add weaknesses meaning you can't break the enemy (Unless if you have Acheron but I never really heard of mono-lightning) and mono teams tend to need 5* characters and I wouldn't suggest mono teams for a beginner since you'd need alot of investments for the units and I'd recommend just basing characters of their kit rather than try to go for mono teams early since mono teams, (mostly quantum and imaginary) are popular because they can be fun to play for a experienced player with the right investments.

Ok, hear me out... March 7th with her extra follow up attack eidolon. Basically just doubling the blind bet points on hit. Throw Clara into this comp and you'll be landing so many attacks. With the last slot left over for any support or extra dps, you can get stupid with this on hit team.

I think aventurine will be better than fu xuan in gold and gears / harder end game content since shields effectively raise your max hp and prevent one shots way better. Where fu xuan herself can get 1 shot from taking tons of damage. Then aventurines debuffs / offense will just make him a great sustain.

I don’t think the trial they gave was that good for Aventurine, like every other trial… lol
But I’m pulling for him regardless… I like his design and I like shielders.
I main Gepard and I have a very well built one. Let’s just say he solo sustained and I have never lost a character during treasure hunt. I did under Aventurine. When the enemies decided to all jump on one character, being able to shield off turn is a life saver quite literally. So I am betting I can build a better Aventurine than whatever they gave us in the game .

Personally speaking, his follow ups are so underwhelming that is just not worth building him with any type of damage. But he will be a great tank and shielder, probably the best one yet, but that's not much saying considering his other competitor is Gepard (and he is still good). I completly disagree that Aventurine will break the game and that he is overpowered, i would put it in top 4 best sustainers, Luocha, Huo Huo and Fu Xuan are just better and provide better survivability value.
Last thing, that follow up meta statement is CRAZY considering that any of the follow up attackers DPS are really that good, the other type of DPS wipe the floor with them. But that's just my opinion, i'm open to debate this.

Might not be as good as you think because, Clara want to take all the hits to trigger her counter attack, but Aventurine is a preservation character which has a higher Taunt value than Destruction. So unless you have some way to manipulate attacks onto her, most attacks will be going on Aventurine and Clara is just there for the 2 FuA on ult and for aoe's.
@@HreimdalYou can fix that by having Tingyun, who is pretty much a staple in all Clara teams anyway. As long as Clara frequently gets her ult, she'll have no problem with Aventurine.
Aventurine also doesn't have any taunt in his kit unless you're using Gepard's LC, so Clara is honestly pretty strong with him.
@@koko-hh2bq Yes if she has frequent ult she will work just fine. I know he doesn't have a taunt but he is Preservation, and preservation characters have a much higher taunt value than destruction does, so he will automatically attract most of the attention of enemies.

This is like comparing Luocha to Huohuo, both are good in their own ways and mostly depends on which characters you're using and what they could benefit more from their kit.
@@Satoru-H-Whiteas someone who has had luocha day 1, he had insane value where there were so few characters and only one available sustain unless u got gepard and bailu off pulls.
Debuff/cleanse/no skill point usage was awesome back but now it’s fallen off, we have more sustain options.Gallagher, especially with eidolons ,just does what he does if not better with break damage and Acheron.
Huo’s harmony kit is just alot more valuable as of now, especially with memory of chaos taking less cycles and bosses being tankier.
Luocha is arguably the worst limited 5 star. You can get Gallagher/lynx for free and they are better with certain units.
