Unfortunately I can’t because of patient privacy of course. As far as how it looks - the person is put to sleep with muscle relaxants so they aren’t moving during it - if that’s what you were curious about :)
@meddownunder Frankly, we do not understand this.. I hope you get approval from the official about filming this treatment... and you can hide the patient’s face for the sake of privacy... and if they do not agree, ask them to film a representative video and not a real one, meaning that one of your friends plays a role Patient only for representation
@@Hudaa_77you’re right in that in all medicine we really only have limited understanding - there is still so much to learn! so we can only go off what the evidence and research shows. I do understand your concerns though due to the past history of psychiatry. The main known side effect is memory loss around the event which is why most patients are restricted to limited sessions even if they want more. Most of the research shows this is most beneficial in severe treatment resistant depression but can also be used for life threatening emergencies such as Catalonia which if they don’t response to medicine might try this (to literally save there life) But with time I’m sure we will learn more and more, but we can only do our best to help others with what research we have at the time - as medicine has always been this way. 🙂
Hmmm , can you make more vlogs inside ect room when the patient taken ect
