Please, read all the warnings carefully before you start reading, it contains some very disturbing imagery not suitable for minors and squeamish folks.
I probably don’t need to say this (since I kind of poured my soul into the video), but I absolutely loved this fanfiction. The quality is really outstanding, so if you’re intrigued, definitely give it a go. Just be aware of what you’re getting yourself into, this fiction is not for those light of heart. The author tackles some very heavy themes like violence, drug abuse etc. I read it in one go and it stayed with me long after I finished it. I can honestly say it’s got one of the best and most satisfying endings I‘ve ever read in any fiction, which in itself speaks incredibly highly of the author’s ability to have you invested in the characters and their journey. Even though, the fic is more psychologically driven, the plot is very well thought-out and engaging, I praise the author for being so detailed (e.g. I kept looking up guns and cars to be able to appreciate it together with the characters xD) and not afraid of the dirt, so to say. It read very realistically and thanks to the multiple POVs (which imho are particularly hard to write in general) you got a sense of where everyone’s coming from. I have a serious love-hate relationship with the two main protagonists, which was partly the intent, so I’m definitely not complaining. Although, the fic might not be as „polished“ in some places, for an author who doesn’t have a whole team behind them to proof-read etc. I think it’s pretty damn impressive and the quality of the story is well above most of the regular published staff. Seriously, when the author publishes a book, I’m buying it.
With that said, I hope you all will like the trailer (hopefully - and especially the author ;). I almost flipped my notebook twice while editing, because I couldn’t figure out the correct wording and find suitable footage. But in the end, here we are ;). Looks more like a short movie tbh, but I think I avoided all the spoilers and left enough mystery so that I can still call it a trailer ;). Yay, welcome me to the new fandom of BTS.
Edit: Oh fuck me, the glitches at the beginning look so much smoother in my original video (well, the whole video does really) than after uploading it to youtube. So much for my precision with editing *cries internally*. Anyway, nothing I can do about that I guess -_-'.

I will never find a fic that has affected me as much as this one.. Forget that it’s BTS members.. This story is one that... just.. messes with you.. (in a good way? Idk) but when I read this I was stuck on it for a good... 2 weeks(I read it all in one day but it just.. all my mind thought about was this story). The characters feel real.. you can feel the brokenness, the confusion, the pain. You get so invested in the characters it’s like you are the characters but you aren’t? Do I make sense.. probably not.. Anyways.. This is one of the BEST WELL WRITTEN fan fics you will ever read..

Feel you. Once you read HOC, the world of fan fictions won't be the same... There just isn't one as good as this one, it's better than all the actual books I ever read. The author would be so famous if people ignored that it's a BTS ff and just read it.

as someone whose first ever bts fanfiction was this masterpiece, let me just tell you, i can still imagine some of the scenes in detail. that's how amazing this book is and i finished reading this around 8 months ago :') coupled with this trailer that's also a masterpiece, it's no wonder that HoC is a classic in our fandom.

I finished reading hoc last August, and it still haunts me. This is also my first bts au. This story is amazing. I just didn't know that it's really triggering and kinda disturbing. But all in all it's great! My favorite out of all the au I've read

I'm currently reading songbird and the sea, the writing is so elegant and beautiful and its equally as much a rollercoaster ride as house of cards, except in a much different way. Hoc was very intense and harrowing, but tsts grips you in a totally different way... I still havent finished it but I'm loving the story so far!

You guys have no idea what this fiction is..
I've never in my life have been this shook. It felt real. Apart from bts names and stuff.. This, this was intense.. The description of every feeling every scene it just caused me to feel everything like i was in that fucking scene at every characters place.. No movie and no book will ever be able to top this journey.. I can only congratulate the author for the amazing work.. Its not a simple fiction i can see that the author worked hard on this, the information about drugs, feelings, guns, murders, torture, police laws just everything was valid.. I feel educated after this fiction. It took me a lot of time to read because i needed breaks between each chapter, hours, days and sometimes even weeks.. It was all worth it. Im still crying my eyes out.
And i also want to congratulate the editor of this video.. You pictured everything so well, your editing skills are insane.. Your video is what made me read the fiction. And coming after completing i can see every detail in this video and connect it to the fiction.. Even the screams that taehyung was describing while torturing or killing another man its there in the video, served for me to hear clearly and feel exactly how it felt when i had simply imagined in my head reading the fiction..
Im just speechless for both the author of the fiction and the editor of this video..

I have the EXACT same feeling. I watched this trailer and then had to go to the fanfic. I swear it was one helluva ride.
I cannot explain the feeling of completeness when I finished it. Whoever wrote the fanfic had amazing knowledge and I swear that NOTHING will top the mastermind behind that fic. 100/10 best fanfic I've EVER read.
When I think about the fanfic I just ... it was so messed up and so amazing it was pure gold. Honestly, if a movie was ever made it wouldn't do even a microcosm of justice to the fic. But I'd watch it anyway.
And I can't begin to do justice to the trailer. Holy frigging cow, the trailer WAS EXCELLENT. I hope Sapphiamur gets a fat paycheck for doing this stuff at a job.

The fanfic killed me tbh. The continuity and how well she drove the plot into place with the character development and the research done and put into it. I love how your trailer accurately portrayed the fanfic in all its glory. The way you have everything flowing together with little thing like their hair color. i haven't finished the fic but i agree to most of the commenters. its arguably the best written fic written in the fandom. take out the names of the members and replace with stuff like joe and peter but that still wont change the fact that this is a good story. you can see how bad a person can change when they get hold of power. it shows you the fucked up side of the world. man i really dont wanna finish the fic, partly because im afraid of whats gonna happen and partly because i dont want it to end. i just feel it in my right tiddie that some shits gon go down.

Bridget Zalepa I started reading that one story when it had like four chapters, and every week I would wait 'til Sundays because that's when Sugamins always updated those days :) she's amazing. Not only an amazing writer but a very commited one too. She never updated any other day other than Sundays. She has some very other good stories too, but to me House of Cards has something special. It is a very disturbing thing to read at times, mind you, but the way she constructed the whole story is fucking wonderful. Honestly if she were to publish an actuak book I'd buy it and tell many others to buy it! I love writing and I wish I had her talent lol

I have read this fic like a year and half ago. And I still comeback to see this trailer every now and then to keep that feeling . I didn't knew that it would hit me this hard.. I mean I don't want to give any spoilers but the last chapter made me feel something weird in my chest. I have never cried in my life after reading fiction books. And I didn't cry in this one too, but I just can't explain the sort of emotions I discovered that I have. Never in my life have I fallen in love. Like never... But this book shook me to the core. There is nothing in comparison to this one. Even if it's a fanfic , nothing can reach this level. I hope one day some really amazing artists and director come up with this project, be it a Netflix series I would just drop everything to live this again.

Same. I just finished house of cards. I’ve never cried while reading a doc and I didn’t cry with house of cards, but I felt SO weird reading it. Some parts I wanted to throw up, and other parts I was relaxed and happy. It’s a rollercoaster of emotions

This trailer is perfect for the fanfic. House of cards is the most famous BTS fanfic and no wonder why. I read it and I have to say it's the best fanfic I've ever read and it deserves to be an actual published book and made into a movie. The author is so talented and uugghhh it's just so good

Very well done, accurate and though I'm not picky it's also a huge satisfying bonus that it's in continuity (hair color, non bts clips are believable, etc). This is one of the very few finished fics that I've reread for the fandom. :) nothing seems out of place, every clip it's as if it's from an actual movie and works like an actual trailer.

Well i was preparing for my entrance exam in medical university when i saw this trailer, this got me under spell , and i ended up reading the fanfic.I read one chapter and couldnt stop reading next . It was not the perfect time to read or do anything other than sllybus related stuff. I remember being scolded by my dad for using my cell phone for 69 hours to read this fanfic. It is the best fanfic i have ever read,the plot,character building, the rhythm, well i got no words to describe my experience, you people out there need to read this fanfiction. This fanfic had me on the edge of my seat CONSTANTLY. Honestly, the ending was so, so scary, confusing, predictable and unpredictable at the same time. Like every reader, I was hoping for a idealistic ending but all I got was a realistic one. Incredible fanfic and an incredible trailer to match it! If I had never seen this, i would never have had read this masterpiece!

I've read this fanfiction and it took me a couple of days to come back to my usual self. The fanfiction felt so real, I couldn't help but look up at the sky, waiting for the comet to plummet down on me as well. It was hard to fathom that the fanfiction changed my perception of reality and made me think that that little universe the author made was my universe and that I was just patiently waiting for death.
The fanfiction was sad, heart-warming. I loved it and it is beautifully written. It's a part of my high recommendations along with House of Cards by sugamins.
Jenni Yang so true .. I took like two weeks to read that Fanfiction (because I was kinda busy) but honestly when I was reading it , It literally felt as if I was actually in the story watching it all happen.
Even today.. that's almost 2 months after having finished reading it, House of cards still haunts me.

Sugamins is truly the queen of ao3. This fic is absolutely god tier and I cried while reading it. I’m currently reading her story The Days of Our Lives based around the HYYH era. I just finished the story like 5 minutes ago and y'all can't imagine how devastated I am😭😭😂 This video was the reason why I started reading it in the first place cause the trailer is so intense and like i couldn't resist reading it after watching how everyone died over this story in the comment section. Anyway at first I doubted it'd be as good as everyone was making it out to be but like but now honestly I regret reading it cause I know I wouldn't be able to find a fanfic like this with such a well written plot and writing. My condition is the exact same as yours! I started reading it because of this trailer and I finished it just today. Now I think I'm gonna need some time to get used to my real life and not the one I was living as the characters of the story cause damn! the story was so descriptive that it was impossible to not get lost in it!
Anyways, since you asked for recommendations, I would suggest you read The Songbird and the Sea. It's another gripping, descriptive and really well-written fanfic but rather than dark themes, it deals with deep emotions in a lighter way, if that makes sense. If House Of Cards is a thrilling journey full of bumps and hurdles, then the Songbird and the Sea can be described as the feeling of falling in a soft bed with warm blankets after that journey.

this fanfic can never be compared to anyTHING ELSE !!!!!!!!!!! like you have to agree , it was a god level writing and the plot seemed like it came from someone who had experienced all the shi- themselves ! i was at times traumatized reading some scenes and at some point i went through anxiety but totally on cloud nine at some point as well . the way there were no noticeable plot holes and just perfect plot twist ! uhhhh makes me want to sleep forever and just dream about it all . the action the characters THE CHARACTERS oh lorddddd ! the way i hated and loved Taehyung alot !!!!!!!!!! the way i wanted to crush jimin but hug him close so bad .. the way i wanted to torture but care for jungkook was insane .all the way you could never predict what was about to unfold but also had that nerve racking anticipation for certain scenes , having that heart dropping moment and teary eyes at just the slightest inconvenience happening the a particular character because you were immensely drowned in them and attached to the point it would leave a scar on you heart to know that your favourite character was fu cked up to death , viewing love differently , feeling the second hand betrayal , going through the torture till the very last line of the entire book but feeling satisfied because it had been worth failing the mid terms .. i kid you not ... why are you livingif you are in this fandom and never tried this shi- !!!!!!!!

cleo loutzoglou i dont get what u mean by who is "endgame" hsbsj but if you're into crime/gang fics with lots of sex & drugs then GO AHEAD & READ IT EVEN IF YOU'RE NOT INTO THAT JUST READ IT but ofcos read thru the tags cos its VERY DESCRIPTIVE like,, no filter & I wouldn't recommend it to younger teens cos it gets super emotional like the character comes to life & you feel their pain their anxiety & you get into a whole emotional rollercoaster with them. Like even the side characters scared the shit out of me. The character development for each of them is great I'm just so intrigued hsbzjs I may be biased but I love this fic more bcos it has my fav ship: KookVMin; & my love for TaeX94z dynamics- which the author just happen to put them together as partners investigate the case so im like really really in love with this fic!

The only thing that has come close, is the the authors own work. Blood ink is near the same level as house of cards. Its based on personal opinion of course as to whether if it's as good or not. I felt like it was pretty similar; enough so that it filled that gap that was left inside my heart when i finished house of cards. Its also by Suganims

I saw another trailer in the fanfiction site and I'm sorry but that one cannot even get closer to yours' quality. Oh boy, this was almost better than those Hollywood movie trailers. You are so talented. I'm in love with this trailer. This is my second favorite work of yours after the "Yoongi's Confession".

beanie The fanfic is really great and definitely worth reading, but it also really gets under your skin, so you should evaluate carefully after the first two chapters if you go on reading, because it gets ever the more tense and shocking.
But it's a great amazingly written story with a clever ending so i strongly recommend it :-)
