• Celestron NexStar Evol...
Just ordered the 9.25 be here Tuesday, can't wait, ordered the case and dew sheild too.
I have the Celestron Nexstar Evolution 9.25" which is a super cool telescope 👓🎓🔭
What did you see with the telescope😮
I have the 8” Evolution, and its absolutely fantastic!! It has exceeded my expectations! Its the best all around telescope money can buy! If you are on the fence about getting one, just BUY IT! You can’t go wrong!
Thank you .....well done.
Great video this deserves a ton more views
Glad you think so!
The fact that the Evolution 6" can see the ENCKE DIVISION IS NUTS!!
can the others see it too? He didn't make it clear. If you can see Encke Division on 6", would it look better on the 9.25"?
@@michmch2806 I can say with confidence that the 9-inch scope will do a way better job with seeing it. That doesn't mean the 6-inch is bad though, it will certainly be a good sight with the 6" but the 9.25" will look better because of it's aperture.
@@TheSpacePlaceYT seeing the Encke Devision with a 6" is achievable but it will take longer video frame captures to achieve it. Yes as you know the 9.25" will capture the Encke Devision quite comfortable with good seeing conditions 👌

I ordered (and paid for) a EVO6 in early January this year....It arrived mid-September. It's a great grab'n go scope. Celestron doesn't make a proper fitting case (too small or way too big), so I got Pacific Design, CA to build a custom case. The case should arrive in a week or so. I also plan on adding an inexpensive ($300 to $400) ZWO color digital camera, plus try my full-frame Nikon D700 and D610 cameras. The D700 has fewer, but larger pixels than the D610 (12M vs 24M). It will be interesting to see how they compare.

I’ve been having a lot of fun with my evo 6. My only complaint is the hardware on the tripod. The wing bolts that set leg length all stripped out. I have replaced them with larger m10 wing bolts. (Tap and die was needed)
Is the Evo mount the same for all size OTAs?
I have a question, ist the base, the Goto on all the Telescope the same or are they different?
Do the Celestron CPC deluxe hd series please!
Sure, next video :)
Can anyone comment on the the view through the 9.25" vs a 8". Is the detail you can see on Jupiter or Mars obviously better? Do you see globular clusters more clearly, or do faint nebula appear that much brighter?
The 9.25" has more light gathering power than the 8" ☺ I have the Celestron Nexstar Evolution 9.25" which i've owned since December 2014 👌 i've had no issues at all with this telescope 👓🎓 here are some of my captures...

The viewing experiance on planets will be limitet to the seeing in youre location. Of corse the 9.25 will show you an edge more detail when the condition are right. image will apear brighter in 9.25 due to 30% more lightgathering. The focal distance of 2350mm isnt useful for deep sky observig. When youre a visual observer i'd recomment a 10'inch dob with flatner. The globular cluster will be brighter but not by much in 9.25 over the 8inch. What you pay for is the Evolution mount system.
I am looking for a telescope for my apartment bacony. The telescope will stay outside throughout the year. Which brand and model you recomend. Never owned one. Budget 2000usd. Will appreciate your input.
Depends on what you want to observe.
with that kind of budget, you can get a really good telescope..
something like "Celestron NexStar 8SE" or "Celestron NexStar Evolution 8-inch" telescope. would be a good choice.
Hello, very good video!!, I want to update my telescope and I can't decide between the edge HD 8" and the 9.25", my main objective is to photograph small galaxies, which one would you recommend me more? There will be a lot of difference between the image obtained with an 8" vs 9.25"?, Thanks
Bigger aperture will give you sharp images. The better choice would be Edge HD 9.25". But price difference between then is huge(almost double). If price is not an issue then you can go with Edge HD 9.25"
@@TheAlienTechs Thanks a lot!!!
@@TheAlienTechs Not sure if you are aware, but the 9.25" SCT, while a great scope, will bottom out at the base/back of scope if the scope is balanced. However, it will handle the regular 8 inch SCT wonderfully.
@@TheAlienTechs 9.25" Edge HD is not part of the Evolution series though.
This is great knowing what the differences are. The 6" weighs 38 pounds total, and the 9.25" weighs 63 pounds total. What is the total weight of the 8"?
40.5 pounds
I have that Nexstar evolution 8 EdgeHD and it’s a really nice scope. It’s heavy but manageable to take outside to my back yard when I want to use it.
@@martynh5410. May I ask how you’re getting on, please? Also, may I ask things you like and dislike too, please? Thanks in advanced.
