You asked, I delivered. Here is my huge liquid lipstick declutter. I was both excited and overwhelmed to get this drawer done, but we did it! A big thank you to my friend Tashina of Logical Harmony here on UA-cam for the organization idea-- the glass candle holders are from Dollar Tree, but you can definitely use any old used up candles you already have at home.

Frankly, I’m tired of UA-camrs feeling like they can’t use Limited Edition items in tutorials, especially since there are companies that dupe high-end LE eyeshadow palettes (for instance). As far as LE liquid lipsticks are concerned, we can probably dupe most of those colors. We might not dupe the exact formula, but we can probably dupe the colors. If you would like to do more tutorials with your LE items, maybe you can research ahead of time for dupes that you can recommend, that way the viewers that have the same LE products can have new tutorials to use, and the viewers who don’t have them can at least follow along. Win-win!

I need to destash my lippies too... Why? Because I must have every brand/shade in berry! However I don’t have any lipsticks over $25 so that is good news. I need to jump out of my comfort zone and try some other Shades!
LOOOOOOOVED this so much!!!!!! Sometimes it was unclear whether you kept the lippie or not if you didn't say anything after swatching, but then I just assumed you kept them haha! You should do palettes next!!
The virgin tubes thing cracked me up! It is satisfying to see certain things. I thought that was just me! I think Ive felt like that since I was a kid. The dots on the applicator reminded me of a TB test they give on your arm. LOL Thank you for making a video like this. I watch collection videos daily and I the best part is really seeing the product.

The "safe" time space is just to get you to buy more. Most products have a shelf life of 3-4 years.
Do you know if that applies when you wet the shadows? I often go into my shadows with a damp brush!

Am I the only one turned off by the swatching of the unused MakeUp Forever Lip Paints? It just seems like at the point you're doing a declutter and they're at the bottom of the collection, you wouldn't have missed them, especially when it was clear there was so much else you were keeping. Just seems like it would have been the perfect opportunity to share with someone else the excitement of a NEW tube. But hey, it's you're stuff. Do what you want. **Side note: I must have been really turned off. This was my first Slashed Beauty video and I just cleared my queue of a few of her other videos I had lined up.**
Sorry that you felt so strongly about that, that it turned you off from my other content! Often it's out of sight out of mind for me. I hope you can give my other content another shot, but yes I did want to keep these and regularly donate/giveaway a lot of unused makeup per month. MUFE is one of my fave brands for lip products though, so I decided to keep these. In fact, I have an upcoming giveaway of a lot of makeup next week including YSL, Lancome, NARS, and budget friendly products as well.

declutter foundation next!! btw, my mom and I recently got some of the Maybelline Super Stay Matte Ink and omg it smells soooooo heavenly!🤤 (super weird I know haha) but it has great application! I'd definitely purchase those again!

Those expiration guidelines are just that- guidelines. How you use and care for your products can greatly extend their shelf life.
True enough depending on the type of product also. Normal lipsticks you can wipe clean and sanitize, and they can essentially last til you use them up. With liquids, they get contaminated after first use.

I managed a luxury brand beauty counter at major department store for many years and I promise you, those guidelines are for margins! $$$$ When lipstick goes bad, you can smell it! Mascara is bad also when it smells or clumps. They sent us Mascara testers every month that goes bad fastest. The rest came on a regular seasonal schedule. Fun video though!! 😍😘
Slashed Beauty you can buy separate test applicators on amazon for limited edition products you want to keep a long time. Like colored mascaras (my fave!) and lip wands ❤️ I love that your make up drawer is as insane as mine.

Wow loved seeing all the swatches. Went over to ur IG and got lost in that for that for awhile. Love ur IG too. Another thing that might work is emptied BBW candle jars r tall too. The 3-wick only thing is they r round and would have wasted space probably. But they might fit three in the middle of ur drawer they r thinner and not as heavy. I always a have a cpl around I freeze them when done pull out the wax then put them in hot water to get the bottom sticker and wick holders out. The labels always peel off easily before I do anything with them. I love the New PF Healthy lips. I got one so far. But loved seeing the swatches. Now I know where to go next. Thanks for sharing
Yes!!! The 3 wick would be great but you're totally right-- the round jars might be less easy to fit into a rectangular drawer.

I would really like it if you would make sure to say whether you're keeping the item or not, because a lot of them you didn't say either way. Also it would be great of you would show how many you actually got rid of. Because you still have so many, I do think you should go through them again soon, but this time swatch all the like colors at the same time to make sure you don't have too many of the exact same color. I used to have as many as you and the reality is that I could never rotate enough to use all of them. There was just way too many. So I got rid of 100 of them and honestly never missed them. I actually had someone help me because it can be hard to be tough on yourself and it helps to have a voice of reason. Hope you see this comment and really think about doing that. Otherwise the majority of lipsticks you have will just end up going unused and bad in your drawer. That's what always happens when we have collections this size. Anyway, thanks for sharing. ☺
E. Garceau thanks so much for the suggestions. You’re totally right, I do need to already go through this drawer again because of the amount of liquid lipsticks I tested out since doing this video. Love your idea of showing the final yes and no’s, declutters are new to me this year so I was finding my groove. Have gotten a lot of great suggestions since posting these!
