RIP Mike......you deserved way more attention as an artist....your solo records are as important as Gram Parsons, The Flying Burrito Bros. , Poco and on and on.....
21:00 He was so far ahead of his time... he literally predicted the next 30 years... unbelievable and a gift to all of us
And so many people miss this aspect of his life. A pioneer in so many ways.
He is practically telling about facebook! Godbless him and The Monkees.
I can't believe when i read the news online. I'm such a MONKEES fan I play their music a whole lot. Mike was such a talented musician had no idea a executive producer & making videos amazing. I'm still can't get over Davy Jones passing later Peter Tork. Wow I will always be a fan no doubt. He's will be missed.😢😭
Such a creative and intelligent man. His autobiography is wonderful.
I could listen to him all day!
Nice voice and so handsome man,
Mike was so ahead of his time. I don't know if the Monkees was ever enough for him. He was always striving for more. A brilliant man. So sad at his passing.
What a incredible guy, seems like such down to Earth and intelligent human being. Probably a great guy to grab a drink with and listen to his stories and experiences. Repo Man Kicked as. RIP Sir.
Dec 10, 2021: 1985 Monkees Reunion is where I jumped on board. Great Guy. Rest in Peace.
Always remembered by me as that big brother guy that along w/ his fellow brother Monkees guys took a generation through some tough years growing up by laughing @ some silliness that made them very endearing . Heavenly Father, Lord Jesus and Holy Spirit hold Michael, David and Peter in your precious loving arms and guide George Michael Dolenz through these years separated from them and give your peace ✌️ and love ❤️ to them and their families. Thank you for Your Gift 🎁 of Jesus to show Us how much we are truly loved 🥰 AMEN 🙏
R. I. P. Michael 😪🙏
An absolute legend and character go papa nes !!
Wow he had social media pegged from the get-go
Mike seems like a likable guy...😊
Mike Nesmith was a solid guitarist listen to valerie
@@robertcaspar3619 that was louie Shelton on guitar not mike.
I really don't understand people's attitude, when they say Mike hated The Monkees.
Nesmith describes the "internet" at the end of this interview.
This developed into censorship today. Would Mike like that? I think not.
Very informative!
Love him. RIP😢
Lovely man.
Anyone notice that at 14:00 Michael says he created MTV?
No...
He says that he helped create the concept of something like MTV, then sold it off to the people would actually create MTV.
HE DID!
He in fact sold the CONCEPT, that fact alone is creation.😊
His Pop Clips started it all! His foresight was remarkable and it was a great gift from the Heavens or the Stars! He said that in another interview when asked about life's direction or his music! Michael had songs made in his mind all the time! I call it a God given gift because it is just what it is!
handsome guy- I bet that is an Armani suit- he said he wears them -oooooooh! Kimberly
WOW HE IS SOOOO PROFOUND and AHEAD OF HIS TIME! I don't see any of those ugly Beatles speaking like this! NO WAY! Nez is SOOO much more intelligent!
💯
Hmmm. Square Dance, is that with Robb Lowr?
Yes and Winona Ryder whom he discovered.
