Vice Ganda is very talented specially in hosting and comedy but in terms of performing, there are a lot of artists and legends here in the Philippines greater than him. I don't think there's a homophobic thing going on. This event is for our country and our Southeast Asian brothers. Also, the parade is for the athletes and not the queens. The queens did a great job representing the countries and basing on their posts on social media, it is enough honor for them.

Vice Ganda is not there because his talent is not world class. This is a fact and not a shade. Vice ganda's talent is appreciated by the masses here in the Philippines that's why he's a star here. Unfortunately he's not world class. The solo singer was Robert Sena. He played the engineer in miss Saigon during Lea Salonga's time. He can hold up well by himself on big crowds because he is a seasoned stage actor/tenor. 😊
