About Kelsey:
Welcome to my channel! I'm a 29 year old preschool teacher turned UA-camr and entertainer. I make "lifestyle focused" videos but honestly they're more sarcastic than anything. On my channel you can find me fighting with a food processor, making fun of people on the red carpet, or giving genuinely good advice (if I do say so myself). So join the #KelseySquad to be a part of the #KelseyFam and don't forget to be a proud #Kelsinator just kidding just watch my videos.

Saw the thumbnail and title and thought aw! Cody's finally getting pegged! 🥰
Lmfaoooooo
LMAO
Can’t wait for his POV on CodyTrains! Choo Choo!
Finally?
Lmao "Cody Trains posted: 'My ass hurts, cant ride my bike' 4h ago."
Kelsey!! As a pottery and ceramics instructor, you did great!! Especially considering that you only had a manual to work off of!
If you try it again, my suggestions would be to 1. Have a mister or spray bottle handy to keep the clay moist (your work was cracking prematurely because it was drying; the air and our hands sap the moisture quickly while working) and 2. Try using slip! Slip is a goopy mixture of clay and water-you apply it to your scoring marks so that the clay bonds better and has some "glue" to hold on to. This'll hopefully help you prevent things from falling apart. Good job!!! It's really fun to see a creator like you try a more obscure art form. ❤
Not to be dramatic, but we NEED a mom reaction to this dish!
Love this arts 'n crafts era! I was also a preschool teacher and I low key enjoyed doing their crafts way more than they did lol
I'm sub for schools and preschools and yes!! I get more bummed than them when it's clean up time lmao
Cody and kelsey truly are made for each other. They even have same crafting skills 😄
As someone who has actually done pottery I love your nervous energy
I hate the feel of wooden utensils too!! I'm glad I'm not the only one with sensory issues 😂❤
Literally just commented the same thing hahaha 👏
I have this issue with certain finished of metal!
what the hell haha? i dont get it
@@martyboysation some people including myself feel weirdly uncomfortable when in contact with certain textures. Like the touch equivalent of hearing chalk scrape down a chalkboard or metal clinging on a plate. It just feels unpleasant
@@clorby22 interesting. i thought she was kidding at first, but then i realized she was in serious discomfort
i just spent like an hour yesterday watching pottery videos and now kelsey is doing pottery! i gotta get on board and become a pot head with kels now i guess this was a sign
I know you have a lot of suggestions coming ur way, but I think to make a bowl it would be easier to do a pinch pot instead of rolling everything out and joining the pieces, I find that the measuring is the most difficult part of pottery and pinch pots can be made into really nice bowls. I would search youtube for some ideas on pinch pot bowls! 😊🫶🏻
This is me every time i try and do a fun lil craft - i think it’ll be so fun and relaxing but its actually PURE STRESS
I got one of those kits forever ago but I've been too scared to try it, this was very inspirational
Would love more pottery videos! Excited to see what you try next. I suggest miniatures !!
hey kelsey, I've been watching yours and cody's videos for a few years now, and also a regular circle time listener but anyways i just wanted to say huge congratulations to both you and cody (realised I've forgot to actually comment it!) and want to wish you both all the best in life!🤍 I also love this vid and esp the art & craft vlogs! 🫶
You guys have an absolutely beautiful kitchen. Love the light coloured wood with white walls, really nice
Ceramics is so hard! I barely made it through my class in college and only because I cried talking to the professor. It was required since I'm majoring in art. Yours looks better than anything I made
i love art but HATED my ceramics unit. i shaped a bowl for three weeks because i did not feel like doing anything lmaooo
i know exactly the feeling of the wooden tools, and the feeling that it elicits. I hate that feeling with all of my being.
there might be a pottery studio near you that helps teach you how to make trinkets and dishes and stuff and will show you how to use different tools!! and they will glaze it for you and put it in a kiln, and they probably will have a lot more paint options!! :) I used to go to 2 different ones growing up
Lmao the cat casually in the sink
im now calling my sponges beauty blenders thank u
10:55 shout out cat in da sink
use that one as a cat bowl
why am I smiling so big lol this is cute
we love a Kelsey craft video
I bought a pepper stone ceramics mug bc of u Kelsey 😚🫶🫶🫶
The perfect birthday gift to me is a kelsey vlog upload🥺🩷🥳
as a self certified ceramics lover this stressed me out HAHAHA loved it you and cody should take a couples class as a date night!!!
i took a ceramics class in high school and i felt like this all semester hahaha luv it....also i'd love to see ur mom's reaction to her gift :)
Neeedddd more pottery videos it’s so satisfying and calming and makes me want to indulge in crafts
Your facial expressions never fail to make me laugh
I love you, and I love you and Cody together. You guys make me smile or LOL in every video y’all make! This video sparked my creative side and now I want a pottery kit! ❤
More of this please!
Awesome, thank you!
i just recently bought bamboo toothbrushes because i wanted to be more sustainable and holy shit the feeling of them gives me goosebumps for up to 30 minutes after i use them. even just thinking about them makes me cringe
I would recommend rolling out thicker walls, this way they won’t fall over and you can control the structure a little for, def use a bigger ball of clay when rolling out your walls so you have lots to work with,, alternatively you can coil build your walls!
Congrats newlyweds! 🫶🏻🫶🏻
omg PLEASE do another one of these!! this has been me lately 😂 you should try a pottery wheel!!
Cody just strolling through in the reflection 4:35
maybe a color combination like green and blue would've looked really good, but i actually think that the shape of the dish looked really cool!
I’ve been dying for kelsey kontent
"use a small ramekin"
uses a soup bowl...
Ive never heard anyone complain of their texture sensitivity other than my daughter😅 your forehead crinkle while focusing is so funny! Is that weird? Hope not+😂 this and cooking are my favorite content!
This was so funny omg. We did heaps of clay stuff when I was in middle school art class!
Literally was gonna comment about the opening idk what I was gonna say but ya *so peaceful* 🤣
the rim job joke made me snort laugh
coming from someone that makes pottery this was so good i loved this video
i am both type of potheads love you kelsey
New series alert!
Thanks for the vlog 💗
omg i love !!!
I’m a ceramics student in college so this was so funny to watch but I’m also so excited to follow your journey learning!!
kelsey 1 mil coming soon👀👀
I love u, mom.
omg i work with & sell my clay pieces, it’s so cool to see you trying it out
Babe wake up!! Kelsey uploaded!!!!!!
It's cute but maybe the next one you can roll out a long piece like a worm shape, wrap it around the base, and then shape it up the sides. I also think a more neutral color would look pretty, but great job on your first try!
I remember pottery being a whole other realm in school. Felt silly cause I couldn't make it do what I wanted lol
Would love pottery project vids
Lmao in the beginning I was expecting her to flip the camera to her face like cody does on cody trains
Cody ko in the thumbnail you know I’m clickin
Does anyone know where the bar cabinet in the background is from? Looking for something similar
This video made my day😆
Hey kelsey we missed you
how does Kels not have a milli subs yettt ?? Love the vids :)))
I was just watching your vlog with the same title omg😭
Okay I like it Picasso
Hi mom, I know you are disappointed in me so I made you an ashtray if you want to start smoking.
LET'S GOOO
You two should go try and throw pottery on a wheel. That'd be some funny stuff
anyone else notice the cat in the sink at 10:57??
Don't sweat it. My middle school pottery project was so bad that I got a C on it 😩
I like it!!
kelsey i need you to know that during covid i had to take an elective pottery class at home and it was the hardest thing i’ve ever done
as an experienced potter, you were on the right track with everything, but the scoring should actually be scratches in the clay (look up a pic of how its supposed to look like) and when you put the rim on, instead of placing the rim on top of the circle slab, it would work better if you wrapped it around the outside edge of the slab instead
an ashtray
would love to see kelsey and aleena interact
Bruh that thumbnail is a work of art😂😂😂 touche
next time try rolling clay out flat and then cut a long rectangular strip to wrap around for the rim
the way he looks at her at @11:11
Love it, thanks x
yassssssssssssssssssss
do she respond?
Love it ❤
I saw a comment saying Kelsey's hair is like a toddler's after they've napped and I'm living for it...and now I can't unsee it, and I too, am living for it!
I saw your kitty go in the kitchen sink to drink water...you should get a drinking fountain from Amazon for them so they have fresh water...
the intro was a lil creepy & unsettling hahahaha i love it
I know exactly how Kels feels abt the wood tools, that is the WORST material
Try a pinch pot next time!
So thankful someone else understands the vomit-inducing effect that wooden things like those knife and like popsicle sticks have 🤢
Shout-out to Kelsey I'd have deleted this video and made sure no human ever saw it but she just put it out there for everyone to see.
wow
You know you don't have to do arts and crafts for us if they stress you out so much haha
Almost at 1 millie 🎉
Nearly drops it 7:42
Why does that clay look harder to work with than literally the crayola air dry clay.
i would buy this.... as an ashtray.
lol
why is you struggling with the wooden texture fucking sending me
I love the feel of worn wood but unfinished and raw, rough, dry wood is like fingernails on a chalkboard. Sucks all the moisture and oils out of your hands.
Oscars fashion review? Hello?
Is Kelsey no longer a preschool teacher?
Awe. Good try.
