I don’t use a brush or comb, personally. All the hairdressers I know suggest to run your fingers through your curly hair in the shower (or just when wet) and get tangles out that way!
I have thick wavy hair that’s in recovery from a shit ton of bleach damage and hair wash day is truly like Russian roulette

As a curly girl, what I find really helpful while doing hair is to flip my head forward and scrunch at the root. Really helps with getting volume at the top. Also, even though it may look goofy, putting clips in the hair while letting it air dry is an easy technique for volume. I don't know if you have tried this before and it didn't work for you, but I love that you are embracing the curl, and finding what works!
yeah the head flip for volume is so real! I usually wait until my hair is ~almost~ dry and then flip and shake it out just a little or scrunch at the root like you said and it makes such a difference. never tried the clip method though!
or with a t shirt never dry w a towel it’s gonna be all stringy and frizzy trust girl
if you don’t have like the air diffuser part for your blow dryer

I would recommend a detangling brush or using a comb instead of that kinda paddle brush. It’s less damaging on wet hair
As someone who has also gone through phases of reading a lot to not reading at all and wanting to get back into it, never try to force yourself to read a book you don't enjoy!! All it's going to do is make you want to read less. When it comes to getting back into reading, I always try to go for something that I know I'm going to enjoy! Never use a difficult read to get back into reading because it won't work haha

Kelsey just make sure you're not doing the kitty litter cleaning, or touching cat poop, because pregnant women can get toxoplasmosis from cat poop, and its bad for the baby. Its a good excuse to have Cody do all the kitty litter and kitty poop duties :)
Mix the foundation you want on the back of your hand, then take a bit on your finger and dot it in the main areas you want it, then damped your beauty blender and dab a bit more foundation onto it, then blend it around on your face. This process gives me a much more covered finish while still looking very natural. I used to also feel like it was just absorbing into the sponge.

cut into the whole avocado letting the knife touch the stone all the way around and it’ll separate easily!! and just use the knife to chop into the stone to twist and pull (watch your hands tho of course!) happy to see you back!!

I use those exact products from innersense for my crazy curls! Now when I wash my hands I actually use a towel to dry off the excess water instead of patting down my curls to style with it 🙃

Hey Kelsey! If you wanna help stop hair breakage, Brush your hair before you shower and DO NOT brush it when it’s wet or sleep on it when it’s wet. Since I stopped doing that 3 years ago, my curls are SO THICK and long and healthy😊🫶🏽

I didn’t know for a long time after I started using beauty blenders but you have to wet them , it makes them 10x bigger and easier to blend all over!!! Also less patchy it’s actually a game changer please try
ALSO NARS CONCEALER AND THE FOUNDATION IS AMAZING for any type of skintype (I think it’s what i’ve heard so), i have dry skin and it’s only foundation that doesn’t make me look as dry as I am

I use innersense too! VERY important to use more water than product when applying. you should be applying a pea size amount of product to soaking wet hair, raking through with the fingers, and then scrunching up to the root. frequently add more water so the product spreads evenly and gets to the root. then scrunch with a microfiber towel and air dry!!
