Weaving by Thought Bubble

Thought Bubble are an alt electronic duo, based in the Shropshire hills of the UK. Their music veers in a haphazard manner into various electro-psych subgenres almost with a mind of its own.
Having spent the last decade or so, as members of various psych and spacerock bands on the psychedelic rock festival circuit, keyboardist Chris Cordwell and percussionist Nick Raybould had maintained Thought Bubble as their cherished side project, but it grew.
DJs and podcasters for alt psych and prog radio shows continued to feed their audiences Thought Bubble tracks and that’s how things escalated. ‘Weaving’ will be their fourth full album release.
Specialist electronic label Woodford Halse, themselves the subject of a profile feature in Electronic Sound magazine, will be releasing ‘Weaving’ which comprises a collection of eight new tracks in downloadable digital formats from their Bandcamp site and as a limited edition cassette.
Thought Bubble here have pulled out all the stops and also invited some choice collaborators to the party. Guitarists Shaun Bailey and Joseph Cave embellish and augment a track each - Shankara Andy Bole stirs his unique sitouki instrument into a track called ‘Pondlife’ and voice actor Julia Binns sprinkles ethereal vibes to ‘Adjust Your Soul’.
As with previous releases, there’s an array of moods this album will gently steer you into. And they’re all very pleasant places to find oneself.
