this would have been perfect if it has some kind of extendable selfie stick that allows you to extend it upwards while handsfree recording.

seems handy but it could be used as POV ? Im afraid it wont look to the front, it will look slightly to the right/left

Yeah. Great attachment. But make sure your selfie stick does not rotate. i bought a telsin and it does rotate. I have not been able to remove the stick from the holder…..as yet.😮
So right now im using just a simple bungee loop with a plastic pinch slide lock thing. It dangles from my backpack strap. Which is kind of annoying but secure enough for taking to raves where im often jumping up and down and dancing. I like the idea of this because i wont have a swinging camera knocking into me or those around me. But is it very secure. That wiggle scares me. I dont record from my backpack strap. Just want it there for quick access on hikes or at shows. Do you think it would hold
It’s been years i was trying to find a similar mecchanism but it really isn’t worthy of 80€!

Does the holster also stay in place diagonally? Like if I would want to clip it onto a sling/messenger style bag?
Unfortunately not as then the pole would be mount diagonally also...
Hi @iftibashir. Thank you for this demo review of Insta360's magnetic selfie-stick holster. It's perfect for those who use backpacks on their straps. However, since the mounting base's orientation's fixed (horizontal or vertical), it won't be applicable using sling bags (with thick straps) which was what I brought during our last vacation in an attempt to reduce size and weight. Furthermore, it's quite pricey so I may as well wait for 3rd party products of its kind.
Yes it would have been good for it to have teeth so it could be orientated in any direction and the teeth locking back into place, rather than just vertical or horizontal I guess!
@@iftibashirWouldn't horizon lock take care of this "problem"? It does when I film from an angle on my X3.

I've tried to attach this on a the one x2. I just cannot figure out how to use L-wrench to tighten the adjustment knob once I've adjusted to align the lens with the oval magnets. There does not seem to be anything to tighten?
Insert the L-wrench into one of the holes in the adjustment knob. It won't fit properly - just loosely as it's only to give you some extra leverage to tighten the knob.
@@iftibashirsir I don't onow why my brain was not working but thank you so much for this. 😂 I think I just wanted to wrench to have more purpose.
