Not bad! Gravity looks a bit floaty in this video but looks pretty good overall. Just nice to see people have interest in making such games through godot.
can you change gravity and character weight? a developer commentary talking about the character movement would give insight into what a user can expect to be capable of in godot.
This video is quite old compared to what we've done by today's date. Yes gravity and everything is flexible .. the movement is only limited to what you are capable of coding as a developer
hey wants, the game has changed quite a lot since this video.. just had a private testing session with 6 people yesterday.. join our discord if you want to follow the project and join our community

the movement is nice!
glad you like it.. we need to record an update video.. the game has came a lot farther since this preview !
So Qodot can be used to make quake style game within Godot?
Sure why not? We use the Mono C# version of Godot but it can surely be done with their native GDScript too.
Wish i knew how to code that
Just need to take movement code from quake or half-life. then modify to your needs. we've improved it a lot even since this video.
So Xonotic, but your player model is a ball
this was an earlier stage of the game. it came much farther than this actually.
