1. Compile a checklist of everything you would like to do before exams
2. Block out times you are busy for the Easter holidays
3. Plan according to how best you study (either mornings, evenings, nights or during midday)
4. Make sure you have all of your materials for studying (books, folders, notes)
5. Take time for breaks (outings, fun days)
6. Turn off your phone
7. Plan in detail what subject & what topic you will be studying

I might do a few study with me videos, but I found vlogging everyday over Christmas pushed me too far and make my revision unhealthy x

Definitely think it’s not good to push yourself but I found them super motivating and it could be really useful to have a realistic view! But obviously if it makes u feel bad we’d never expect u too xx
Revision With Eve don’t put UA-cam before revision. Having a consistent Vlogmas isn’t gonna get you into Oxford or Cambridge is it 🙂

My breaks are two episodes of friends after two/three hours of revision depending on how tired I am that day, friends just keeps me going tbh, I have my GCSEs this year and I’ve been full on since Thursday (when I broke up) and sitting in my room is already driving me nuts😂 best of luck with ur revision xxx

omg thank you so much for this video eve! i have been stressing loads about my gcses and i finished for easter a week early so all last week i basically did nothing because I've never felt so demotivated but i feel like I'm okay now to do as much as i can this week
I already planned due to my holiday starting a week earlier (we didn't get that extra day off though :( ) but I'm going to plan the rest of this week with the tips (if I haven't done them already) as I didn't do a good job of sticking to my revision calendar.
Either way, I'll use this to plan next half term.

Pleaseee do a video explaining how you revise A Level languages! I am in year 12 and my teachers are awful, but I am doing the best I can to go over the topics and book, but as someone with exam experience some actual tips would be sooo useful! xx
I do 5-6 hours a day starting at roughly 10 at AS, I ran myself into the ground last year so I’m pacing myself this year. I like putting specific tasks in my slots like ‘make a revision booklet’ ‘practise evaluation points’
hey! i love your videos ❤️ a bit random but could you maybe do a video on organisation when living between two parents? ik everyone has a different situation but i’d personally love to see something about organisational tips when having to move between two houses regularly xx
i always tell people about this app i use for revision, it disables your phone (not really, you can still use it if you’re weak), it’s called forest. you plant a tree (time goes from 10 minutes up to 2 hours at a time) and if you go on your phone you kill it. planting trees gives you coins, and then after you get a certain amount of coins (2500 i believe) you can plant a real tree. it’s so rewarding, you can actually see all the time you’ve spent revising and doing work. it really helps me

I'm currently in Year 12 and when I go back to school (17th of April) we have quite important mocks ( apparently they will use these grades as our predicted grades when applying for unis) that last about a week and a half and I haven't started any proper revision yet. I'm going to start planning it out properly with my dad like we did for GCSE's which is a bit more of a strict structure of revision everyday until the exams start, starting at 9:00am to 9:00pm or later, filled with 30mins slots then 8min breaks, then longer breaks for lunch and dinner that are about an hour. Although you say don't do revision everyday and plan things to do like go out and stuff, I sort of feel like because I've left it last minute and have been relaxing for so long I shouldn't and sort of don't deserve to. I was just wondering what you or anybody else reading this comment thinks? because I don't want to get burnt out, but at the same time I don't want to go out having fun thinking " I should really be revising" and get stressed out.Btw I take History, English Lit and Design Technology ( History is the one i am most worried about). Thanks!

I kind of wish there was a youtuber like eve but who doesn’t want to go to the big universities and was a bit more of a regular person so i knew what was realistic
Look through exams and workbooks and highlight the questions you don't understand, and find the topics. And then estimate how much time each topic will take to revise, and then work out how long to revise each subject. Check how many days you have till the exam for that subject, and divide it by the amount of minutes of revision you need to do. That's how long you need to revise that topic each day. It's also helpful to put key imformation and important questions on sticky notes all over the house, maybe on doors and on your fridge.

Great advice Eve! I'm not a student anymore but I'm starting my own business and so it's a similar way of planning.
Other than the reasons you gave for being specific about what you are planning to do, I find that if you say "I'm going to do Gatsby from 9 till 11." when it gets to it you will have to spend a good 10/15 minutes figuring out were to start instead of knowing already. Hope that made sense 😂 xxx

This was so helpful thank you so muchhhh! I was a foolish Yr 9 child last year and made no notes whatsoever and now preparing for gcse, I’ve got to revise more than I should need to because of my dumb actions *sigh* I knew from the get go I wouldn’t get everything done but this will surely make me the most productive I can be during Easter :)
I’m in Year 10 right now and at the beginning of the year I was doing so well, getting on top of all my work, revising a little and balancing all of that with going out with my friends. But then I moved countries at the end of term 1 and they were doing a completely different exam board with different texts and different topics and I found myself overwhelmed by work I had to catch-up on and the school itself hasn’t been offering much support but now because there is so much work I’m panicking and not revising at all and I’m really scared because I’d prefer not to fail my GCSE’s in fact I was planning to do relatively well.

Do the 50 questions set by my financial teacher

Lol im going to a wedding too but its on the 13th of April and plus its my birthday on the 10th. I'm going to start revising tomorrow (Sunday). But on Monday im not going to revise because i always go shopping 😆😆
I’m in year 11 and the way Iv planned my revision it by treating everyday like a school day for example I will follow my timetable for that day so say I have English first I’ll do an hour of English revision then go onto my second lesson and then I will take a break the same time i would at school then have lunch break at the same time i find this really helps
