Post, these long drives are always interesting and worth every minute. It would have been cool to be in the passenger's seat on this adventure. You back up way better than me. Thanks for saying the date! Glad you had an old shirt with you to clean the lights. The sunset was great. The window down was a plus in my book. Post, could you do a summer camping video using your truck that is out in the woods? Glad we saw a moose and her baby! Great job!
@post10Second…..couple things 1- driving down the roads with those tall weeds the seeds and stuff can get caught in your cabin air filter not to mention all the dust , you might want to wash yours out every couple months. 2- how was it sleeping in the new truck and how does that work? 3- I can’t be the only person who wants to see how many scratches and dings are on the truck so far😂 Loved seeing the baby moose, thanks for the ride along!
You mentioned you were okay with a little bit of scratches on your new truck because it’s purpose is a work truck, however you may want to give it a few really good waxes because that will help prevent scratches. It’s kinds of like a wax buildup of protection. On another note, I love the video. I love two tracking looking for deer. That’s what we Michiganders call a dirt road with grass on the middle, hence two tracks, lol. Just beautiful. Thank you!
I love these vids, so relaxing, I love back roads and adventures. Thank you for sharing and teaching us things we never knew! ❤️ the q & a video idea is a good one, love learning more about you and just listening to you talk.
I use old dryer sheets, wet them, and it removes bugs off my windshield .They also work on the paint surface without leaving scratches or abrasions. Thanks for the video! 👍
You are correct, flies are attracted to moisture so they like eyes, and noses. The blues and purples of the sky during the gloaming were lovely. Thank you!
Always keep your air conditioning on and raise/lower the temperature as you wish. Should help with fogging issues. I turned my lights out so it really seemed like I was on board for this sunset ride along. The mom and baby were icing. So enjoyable. Thanks! PS. Do you hear all of us talking to you? 😂
This was fun.1 of my favorite things to do is drive back rounds and take the path less traveled. That was awesome to see momma and baby moose.I agree with you on your opinion on hunting moose. As a hunter I'd actually like to see no season on them for a minimum of 5 to 7 yrs .always a pleasure man.
Original blue dawn dish soap, squirt some in the reservoir before you top off with washer fluid. My brother was a truck driver, he shared that tip with me when i started driving, i have been adding dawn ever since, even in the winter
I find it so relaxing to follow along with you as you drive and listen to you talk. I just love your videos, especially your camping videos. Are you planning to make any summer camping videos?🙂
Post - for windshield fluid in warmer months use soapy water, works the best for bugs and dirt and grit. Suggestion is probably 1 oz dish soap/gallon to start, then figure out what works best for you. It's all I use in the summer months and much more effective at cleaning bugs and stuff than any store bought washer fluid I've found (even the bug stuff). The only draw back is the stronger the soapyness may leave some soap residue - and this is what you will be working out for you how strong you typically make the saop. The more dish soap, the better it will clean bugs, but it will definitely leave more residue where the wipers aren't clearing. You can mix with any windshield fluid as well but I generally have not found that beneficial. BTW another tip at gas stations, squirt your windshield before washing your windshield. Some gas stations use a sudsy windshield fluid which is great butt his turns any standard blue windhileld fluid into soapy powerhouse cleanser.
There's a lack of wildlife everywhere these days. I used to see loads of weasels, mice, rabbits, pheasant and the odd pine marten crossing the road at night but not so much nowadays.
I like your nighttours through the far away from anywere . In Germany we dont have that amount of "nobody lives in around 50 miles" if its much we have areas with 5 miles around nobody lives there. And i think sometimes there could be a Bigfoot (more likly a bear or so) where the big files are around.
Some people say you should run the A/C and the heat at the same time, and engage recycle mode, to remove condensation from the inside of the windshield. The reason for running the A/C is because it removes moisture from the air
I use this for my car, works good on bird crap and bugs. Rain-X 9425CDX Liquid Filled 8" Spray Squeegee You can put any fluid you want inside it. Hope it helps.
You mentioned coming out west later this year, I notice you didn’t go to Mt Lassen when you were CA. Might want to check it this time. Also if you go through Las Vegas, check out the Valley of Fire. Most people just go to the dam and don’t even know this place exists. You can camp there only about 30 miles north of Vegas not far from the Freeway. It’s Nevada’s first state park.
That bright star…is probably a planet. In the southern hemisphere it is usually Jupiter or Venus I’m not familiar with the northern hemisphere night sky and times they can be seen in the year.
You could carry around a chainsaw on those roads, sometimes, there can be elderly people who live remotely and have no way to cut down the trees, they do the best they can, and sometimes just need a younger person to do some tree trimming. It's up to you Post.
I’m not trying to be a jerk but you are beating the shit out of that truck, if you don’t want to slow down try offsetting on the road so you don’t hit ever single hole. Please try this. Again not being a jerk just trying to give some sound advice. I do enjoy your videos you make them very interesting.
People complain and try to do things like cut lines on the heavy machinery because people have no clue how things work and can't control their emotions.
A very enjoyable ride. I always loved back roads. Wilderness roads. Seeing the baby moose was a bonus. Thank you David. ☮️💖🎶
This video was excellent!
I really enjoyed the long roads.
Thank you!👍🇺🇸
Nice ride through the wilderness, great to see moose and baby 😊

Amazingly no body scratches at all, the clear coat protects that for now, Toyota will give me new shoulders every 5000 miles for 3 years
Your vlogs are always super interesting. Thanks for the ride!

Beautiful scenery and wow a baby moose. Just love watching these drives into the wilderness.

Really? I’ll try to remember that.
Very satisfying watching full length from sunset into the night ! Enjoyed & thanks for taking us along !! 👍
So adorable. 🥰🥰 Baby moose has to be one of the sweetest babies.
That bird following you in there and back out was really cool.
Thanks for the adventure..love it 👍👍👍👍👍👍
These long videos just riding around are the best… thanks Post!

Loved your ride and rambling. Oh and the moose.
Question: would you ever consider doing a Q&A again? Or a live stream?
Hi Post, if you ever visit Canada to check some Moose or wilderness, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick are great destinations!
Love all the videos!

Thank you sir! That's cool video, reminds me driving to some remote equipment shelter.

Another nice ride along, yay!

Just seen a report there’s a ton of raining coming to the north eastern tomorrow (Jul 10). Hope everyone is prepared if any severe flooding!
Ooh. Number 2. Love the moose!

It’s said to hear you don’t have areas of “nobody” America is a big country and every one of our states have areas where there is nothing for forever!

Nice !
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🍀🌧
Looks like you’re having a blast with the new truck. Have you figured out the crawl control yet?
Moose sighting @58:50

Almost missed this one
1 hour 48 minutes of report of my relatives, thank you post 10
Quadlock case + mount work great if you chose the off-road version.
Let's goooooo

When post said "one time....." who else said "at band camp" 😅.
That birds claim to fame is travelling with Post 10.
Was that an abandoned car on the right hand side of the track? at 23.02 in the video
I am curious as to what vehicle you bought ?
A truck, it was upgraded from his order as his got wrecked in a train crash
I believe it was a Toyota SR something 2020 or 2022
@@grace-point he definitely needed something for his travels!
Watching long videos are cool
That bright star…is probably a planet. In the southern hemisphere it is usually Jupiter or Venus I’m not familiar with the northern hemisphere night sky and times they can be seen in the year.
It's Venus - In the northern hemisphere, she appears in the evening in spring and early morning in fall
➡️ They airdrop vaccine pellets in the US from Maine to Alabama but it's just for rabies.
Wonder why moose and deer choose twilight/dark for foraging?
They hunker down on hot days now that it's starting to get cool I believe that's why they come out
I was hoping you’d spot Sasquatch.
Hey Post If you don’t mind me asking what was your old car like a old ford or something? I know for privacy reasons I don’t expect that answer lol
You could carry around a chainsaw on those roads, sometimes, there can be elderly people who live remotely and have no way to cut down the trees, they do the best they can, and sometimes just need a younger person to do some tree trimming. It's up to you Post.
now you listen me , one moose was running next to my car , I pulled off and got to pisscause , it was still there ,15 ft easy!
➡️ I think we all know what that bad smell was. Squatch in the hood😳
Why the window fluid broke is it out of fluid or is the spray clogged
I said it doesn't help remove bugs it just smears them worse or you use the entire tank attempting to do it
@@post10Vlogs its primarily water and many of the bugs have a wax like substance in them that the water doesnt affect.
@@post10Vlogs oh I must have missed that thanks have a great day
Trickle down moosenomics lol.

I see the forestry us just wasting trees, the lumber yards have stacks on stacks of trees just like you just passed only twice as high.
The trees have to dry before they go through the mill, so why not stack them in the woods for a while?

you declined offer for 7k for other vehicle? you must of really wanted to keep it huh?
You've got to fix your audio while you're in your vehicle, it's terrible. You are hard to hear.
I can hear him perfectly well. Get a better quality device or clean your ears.
@@StreetsOfRage2maybe he thinks the clicking sound from the tires throwing rocks static because I have awesome microphones
It sounds good to me. Same as always.
