@@gannonpatton2858vanguard can clear hordes better. He jumps in assassinates the warriors, and they all die around him. Him and the sniper are my favorite. I don’t run melts with the vanguard, but I’ve seen other people use that very well to do the same things
I remember a lot of content creators here on UA-cam were commenting that they felt like the Sniper class was the weakest of all the classes. To my surprise, I love playing it; he's one of my favorites and I'm not even a sniper-y kind of guy in most shooter games. He's just great and comes in clutch when I need him to save the day. I use side mouse buttons for my melee and parry button, use the scroll wheel for zoom in and out and right click for aim. V is my stim, f is my grenade button.

I seen another guy using the sniper and using the sniper rifle as a shot gun, doing AOE damage. What he was doing was, when he has some damage white health, if you do AOE damage, and it kills one of them, it can over heal, so it heals more than the white damage. Do it right, you can get full health an pretty much hard to kill.
Las fusil is mad powerful, i actually love zoantropes so much when i play sniper, i make sure they cant even get the attack off so my team is really happy about it
I just finished the Tzeentch Rail Train level on my Sniper with a lvl 9 Powerfist Bulwark and a Tactical bot. Hands down the most irritating experience I've had in a while.
my main problem is the heavy lock into the one viable gun, sniper already lacks a ton of variety, and the one category we do get to pick, there's only one true pick: Las Fusil Wouldn't surprise me after this first week, snipers who don't pick las fusil get kicked out of the lobby
Stalker Bolt Rifle got a buff today, thankfully, but I just love the Las Fusil so much. Plus, half the perks in the Sniper tree specialize you into killing more than one enemy with a shot to return ammo, and incentivize a playstyle where you cloak, stand still for 2 seconds, charge up a Las shot, and then delete a Neurothrope's health bar with 1 shot.
I would like to see the "Lethal Efficiency" perk work for the Bolt Sniper Rifle too. Never been a fan of guns in games that require both accurate shots and charge up time. But for the sake of ammo efficiency it feels like you get shoehorned into the Las Fusil on the higher difficulty runs as it currently stands.
those shielded tzangors are just bullshit. I hope they nerf that fucking shield already, there is no reason it should be able to stop a space marine with a thunder hammer.
the mainline enemy for Thousand Sons are called Rubric Marines, they are Chaos Space Marines that were turned into essentially space dust by Ahzek Ahriman, the Chief Librarian of their Legion. He did this to prevent their people from mutating from the flesh change, a mutation in their geneseed that was causing many of their number to turn into Chaos Spawn. But the rubric spell he cast had unintended consequences, and as a result Rubric marines are dust and have little to no free will/must be bound by sorcerers.

I am a heavy fanatic. Rocking my Custom Imperial Fist coloration and I am so happy. My second char is the assault as I just love hammer executions ^^ The only thing I kinda dislike is how weak bolters feel the Heavy Bolter even after upgrading it feels like a peashooter Also tipp for everyone using plasma gun as your secondary if you fully charge it and hit the one calling reinforcements you can insta stagger him.
From what I've played in the last 4 days on SM2 and having 250 hours in DT they are about equal. Both have a somewhat taxing and pretty technical skill floor but the skill ceiling on both games are through the roof. DT rn has a bit more customization (my opinion), but SM2 did just release so we'll see later how much more is added but hot damn they both are my jam and after I get done no lifeing it I'll hop right back to Dt for the newer updates. Anyone who enjoys DT is sure for a different experience but still a great time in SM2
yeah i cant really say better or worse, id say my enjoyment in the early stages has been comparable, but SM2 definitely has less glaring issues with the non-gameplay side. Both are great games and scratch different itches, and i will continue to play both
There’s a infinite ammo glitch with the below 30% health ammo perk on the las fusil. If you reach that threshold and swap weapons fast it’ll replenish your ammo regardless of the CD, you can just keep swapping to full ammo. Probably works on plasma based weapons too because there’s no magazine but I have yet to try it

I clearly need more practice because trying to snipe on the controller is miserable for me. Every setting I try to change from sensitivity to aim assist still just feels clunky 😢
So the jump pack's only good for a certin amount of min then fucks of and you cant use it. Is it the same in co-op? How do the jump pack work in co-op compared to singelplayer?
you have full jump pack functionality in campaign and Eternal war pvp. in operations mode pve, they neutered it a bit, less charges, less control, no hovering, less height and range. presumably it was done so you couldn't traverse backwards after a drop down (and the maps are so big and long putting invisible walls everywhere a jump pack could access may have been very hard). But it still sucks. Assault/jump pack needs some changes in Operations imo, with a big one being more charges, and dashes only costing half a charge
its a useful choice, and may even help hit certain breakpoints with the 15 damage Las Fusil variant. but the refund ult on headshot is just so powerful, it gives you almost limitless uptime on invisibility, and by extension, 75% more damage everytime you break invis. So when its used well you get more utility AND more damage against high value targets
Ngl, I feel like Sniper is just better Heavy when it comes to using specialized primary weapons. Not having a melee weapon when two out of three of your specialized primaries run out of ammo in like half a minute unless you use them super sparingly is just bad. Unless you use the Heavy Bolter which isn't that powerful, you end up using your secondary more than anything else, and if I want to be using Pistols more than anything else, there's other classes that have more synergy. Not to mention that you are borderline defenseless if you run out of ammo completely.
Heavy relies on map ammo knowledge and teammates not spam picking up ammo when they ok have one clip missing. It’s just a good regardless it’s definitely not weak or defenseless.
@@brilobox2 They could make the Heavy Bolter more accurate and make it spin up more quickly in exchange. I think the issue with the Melta is that it overkills Gaunts to the point where it feels inefficient to use against them, but at the same time, it's actually not very quick at killing Warriors and other tough targets because you can't aim for weakpoints, and also uses too much of your ammo, unless you are hitting several of them at once. In any case, the Melta is never gonna be truly optimal because the range is absolute arse. It struggles against Zoanthropes and the likes a lot when fighting Nids, and gets absolutely miserable against Tzeentch where basically everyone has more range than you.
i think the dude was like, level 3 with the sniper when he made that comment. I honestly had a very similar reaction to him in my very first game with Bolt Sniper rifle, so I cant entirely blame him. But I also wouldn't say "Sniper needs an entire rework and/or should be removed its so bad" having only played 2 games with it lol. Generally a good idea to play a class a lot before making definitive statements about balance
i asked to execute 3 things in a 30 minute run lol. The Helbrute, a Sorcerer, and a Rubric marine, thats hardly hogging "all the executes". we killed like 50 of them

Just a quick tip but theres a weapon shake option in the settings that will disable the weapon shake on your Las Fusion when charging it up

I hate it when las fusil hits terrain. Each shot is so valuable, rather difficult to aim due to wind up. So each wasted shot feels so, so bad.

They need to make different missions offer different/better rewards. Some missions are wayyyyy easier and harder than others
The bolt sniper allows me to literally carry the team in 4/5 cases when upgraded

depends entirely on your class. Tac Marine and Sniper only roll. Bulwark dashes then rolls, as do a lot of others

Heavy Plasma needs more ammo, maybe Multi Melta needs a tiny bit more but its so powerful that might make it the only optimal point.
