@@MidnightSonnetI mean yeah that’s why if I’m ever mugged I’m giving everything but my phone my life is most likely worth $10 more than the $25 I normally have in my wallet lol
The last person was super naive. It doesn’t matter if the cashier couldn’t speak English, he can still read body language and most likely saw that “Julia” was uncomfortable with the stranger, but he either didn’t want to get involved or didn’t care. They’re probably not paid enough to play security anyway so what she should’ve done instead was stay in the store and call the police if she couldn’t handle it herself and felt like her safety/life was in danger. Well, Julia said that she tried to tell the cashier what was happening, but he didn't seem to understand. So, he could very well have been completely clueless.
Incredibly naive. I’m a South Texan who has driven up and down 281 countless times, who has stopped at countless gas stations along the way, and has never met a gas station employee that didn’t know English. The Creep in the first story was probably an alcoholic and the reason he lost his job was due to his alcoholism. And his wife probably had enough of his alcoholic addiction one night, so she said she would leave him, and he lost it and beat her to death, that’s what I think happened in the first story.
I like to think that Bob was responsible for all three crimes in this story. He was the guy in the backseat in the second story and the murderer in the third story and you can’t tell me otherwise. From now on, every mysterious perpetrator in a mr nightmare story shall be named Bob. Let’s make it a movement
I work night shifts at a local gas station. It's cool that you don't really have to do much because we stop taking orders at 6PM and you can just kind of chill out. However, it's also extremely dangerous due to the characters that get around at night.
@@taylerrichards3534 plenty of times. In fact, one of my co-workers was stalking my mother and I, then found out where we live. Idk how it works in America, but I am an Australian bartender, so the first story had me confused and a little pissed. Why are they serving alcohol to a man who is "clearly hammered" at a petrol station where he will 99% of the time be driving away from?
I'm an American and former bartender myself. Can't speak for all states and laws, but calling BS on that story. Most states/places I've been actually stop serving alcohol at specific times. If they were in a huge city (Chicago, Vegas, NYC) I'd get it cuz everything is 24/7. But getting alcohol at 2am in Podunk Nowheresville? I just don't buy it.

Everytime I go to get gas I lock my doors, I check to see if my doors are locked when I go to the train station and I'm happy I do because I didn't even know I left my back driver's side door unlocked the day before. Lucky for me there's a police station by the train station
She should have explained the situation to him and asked him to call police, or stayed in the store and called police next to him.
Grand theft auto games have taught me to always keep my door locked and I double-check if i think I’ve forgotten
@@heylinspongesprite She said she tried to explain the situation to him and he didn't seem to understand.
It's always great when Mr. Nightmare uploads new scary stories. I'll always enjoy watching them all, they're just amazing
Mr nightmare is the GOAT
stop saying the same thing on every mr nightmare video
@@joshsheler7036 And here I thought I was the only one. As much as I enjoy his videos, MrNightmare's comment section is a wreck.
90% of people sucking him off with maybe 10% interesting stories or people actually talking about what happened in the stories. Such a waste.
@@Hanfgurkenhasser I've seen this ethan and Jack guy comment this like 8 times now
@@joshsheler7036 Sure as hell feels like some bot spam going on eh. :D
Love these types of stories, so remote and eerie. Reminds me of places I stop by when I visit relatives. Thank you for your uploads, Mr. Nightmare!
a massive bravo to mr. nightmare for his consistency, longer videos, amazing editing and narration!!
Thank you for the upload! I’m having a crappy day, this is just what I needed! Snuggling under my blanket with a glass of wine and Mr Nightmare is my favourite thing xx
Love this channel. I live in a 113 year old house. Listening to these stories in my old house at night gives the creepy effect pretty high and the fact I live in the Missouri Ozarks just helps, lol.
Keep it up, these are great 😁
I live in 109 year old apartment in not the most safest part of my city and these videos certainly send a vibe.
Nice
Mr. Nightmare is the type of fella you meet on vacation, talk to him for a while, never meet him again, but have fond memories of the conversation
You are everywhere,christ
Terminally online atleast they don’t use Twitter I think
Factsss
Or you exchange numbers with and find years later!
The Creep in the first story was probably an alcoholic and the reason he lost his job was due to his alcoholism. And his wife probably had enough of his alcoholic addiction one night, so she said she would leave him, and he lost it and beat her to death, that’s what I think happened in the first story.
Good theory
@@nsasupporter7557yes, indeed
I wouldn't disagree. Nothing good ever comes from alcohol.....except for all those drunk chicks I made out with! 🤣🤣
Yup
Sounds like he was on more than alcohol sometimes too.
Haha omg your so right
Damnit Bob!! Not again! It's always him lol
Lol
What about bob the movie 😅
😂😂😂😂😂 damn right lol
I love how at the end of every story, the screen goes dark, and you can see the reaction on your face. Perfect… 😮❤
Mr nightmare I’m 20 years old now and I started watching you when I was TWELVE !!!!!!!!!!! You’ve been apart of my life longer than you know :)
I was just catching up on your recent videos! Fantastic timing!
Thank you for curating and narrating these stories, you do a great job.
Mr. Nightmare never disappoints! He could be considered one of the best story tellers of all time!
This was a really well-done set of stories, readings and sound effects were awesome and did actually spook me lol. Great job!
Can confirm that working at a gas station can be super creepy sometimes. Great video!
The story about the stinky man is really awesome. You really managed to create horror and scare me in that one. Awesome job dude. Just amazing.
First time I watched your videos I was 12 and now I’m almost 20 and I can’t believe I grew up watching your videos. Thank you for being there for me🙏
Always a blessing when Mr Nightmare uploads!
These types of stories are always the best. Keep up the good work Mr.nightmare
I work night shifts at a local gas station. It's cool that you don't really have to do much because we stop taking orders at 6PM and you can just kind of chill out. However, it's also extremely dangerous due to the characters that get around at night.
Has anything creepy happened to you
@@taylerrichards3534 plenty of times. In fact, one of my co-workers was stalking my mother and I, then found out where we live. At one point he really creepily told me about what he'd been doing, and I told him to back off. Fortunately, he got fired and moved to the next town over for his new job. He had a crush on a girl who was my girlfriend at the time. My suspicion was that he was jealous, because she told me that she had chosen me over him.
@@pelmeni_va Omg
@@taylerrichards3534 yeah, he was an odd fella. Him and my other co-worker were both fired for stealing a combined total of $3,000 of phone credit from the gas station and had to pay it off at a saw mill.
Gas station workers, especially workers who have to deal with night shifts, deserve a lot more credit.
Also- talk about timing with that last story
You know your days gonna finish good when Mr Nightmare drops a video.
She risked her life for $6. 😂😂😂
Exactly sometimes it’s so funny these people say in the story I never thought this would happen to me well when you do some dumb shit like that there’s a bigger chance it’ll happen
I found it even weirder that the guy in the 2nd story didn’t lock his car before entering the gas station. And the fact his parents allowed a teenager to roam outside until 5 a.m. every night. Some people truly have an invincibility complex
@@tictac3147 I cannot wrap my brain around all these stories from the US where people always seem to find someone hiding in their car. Like, do cars in the US have the locks removed by federal law or something?
Never happens anywhere else.
That shit got me mad like bruh 😂
Seriously! My thought was I would've just gotten my receipt and went back to the gas station another day to collect my change, IF it was that important to me, which personally I wouldn't go back for $6 lmao
Mr Nightmare staying so on top of uploads such a blessing
tryna get over this girl and listening to new Mr.nightmare stories is making me feel better ❤ thanks mrNightmare
U got this hommie🔥
I love this channel so much. through the years i have changed in what youtubers i watch. Mr nightmare has been my most constant! i listen to him every other night now😂
The fact that the dad in the third story was EXCITED that some gas station worker got brutally murdered...
Excited can mean a lot of things. Like he was horrified excited.
I love watching these stories since they always drop around midnight for me.
5:00p.m for me
Always perfect timing can’t even lie. These videos have been so consistently good for years. A huge part of my life
Agreed 🤝
Dude you have the best narration voice on UA-cam you could capitalize on your success as a resume to work on movies/documentaries.
This video was an absolute thrill ride, and I eagerly await more bone-chilling content like this in the future. Well done!
I always have a thought every Mr. Nightmare video.
Does he ever get scared at any stories he reads?
He has posted a video titled "compilation of stories that really freaked me out first timeI read them"
@@Suutari4 was just about to say that :)
You know it’s a good day when Mr Nightmare uploads
Imagine a creepy guy standing about 7 feet away from you with your pepper spray in your hand and instead of getting in your car and driving off you decide to remain in the same dangerous location for $6
Can we just appreciate Mr. Nightmare for all the hard work he puts into getting these videos out
No.
No
Alexis
I agree he's one of my favorites
you're my most favourite horror storyteller :) you have a lovely voice and i can easily study to your vids! thank you so much for creating quality vids every time
I think we can agree that there is nothing like watching mr nightmare at night
People should always check that no one has got into your car or around it. Crazy scary world man!.
We are loving these uploads!! Keep up the good work!❤
So the girl in story 4 not only risks her life for $6 but also risks the life of a complete stranger
Women 🤷
well she was exhausted. Sleep deprivation can make you do dumb stuff. @carinarosales6899
what women? your mom?@@Firevine
Yes! Gloomy day and Mr. Nightmare perfect combo! Love it ❤
Ah yes, new story from Mr. Nightmare!
Time to watch it at 3 AM.
these stories help me go to bed evrey day I listen to Mr nightmare before I go to sleep it helps me
Risking your safety for $6?? If you’re uncomfortable in any situation get yourself out of there ASAP.
Man these were good ones. When the gas pump finished n clicked I was like that’s such good suspense n I felt so in the moment. Like when you’re in fight or flight and feel impending doom and every banal noise is a startle and subsequent relief lol
That Bob guy is a good example for keeping your distance from strangers if you work nights, you try and be courteous and some will take advantage of that, " No good deed goes unpunished ".
I used to be a fan but after watching this masterpiece, I am a whole air conditioner

"My dad excitedly said that there was a dead body in the gas station we always went to"
And your dad got excited by that 💀
THANK YOU SO MUCH MR NIGHTMARE!! The quantity and quality of uploads recently is legendary.
I like how Mr. Nightmare included a horror story from the 1960s era, I find that pretty cool.
Thank you Mr.Nightmare.
Your upload has given me something to keep my mind off the madness I'm currently going through.. I appreciate every upload I promise you ❤️
I love watching scary stories past midnight while im alone “not home alone just about a 50 foot walk to any other bedrooms”
If anyone is messing with you while you are pumping gas just turn the pump into their face.
You always come in clutch just when I need it. Thank you. 🦋
Story 2 is an awesome story to listen to when you're driving alone at 2 am
Dang! Mr. Nightmare is on a roll!
Keep up the good work!
Mr Nightmare always brings out the best content. We know for a fact that he's truly passionate about what he does for this channel.
Do a story from each state!
No way 2 Mr. Nightmare uploads in 1 week?!?!?! It's gonna be a damn good week.
My night off, nice and quiet outside, crickets chirping, boutta make some tea, thank you Mr Nightmare, always a great day when you post❤️
My dad worked 3rd shift at a 24hr gas station outside of Cincinnati for years. He kept a 357 under the counter and never turned his back on a customer.
Smart man
When you stop for gas, day or night, you lock your doors. Keep your keys in your hand.
Working a night shift at a gas station sounds like one of the scariest, most uncomfortable jobs ever! Ugh!
Can we all agree that mr.nightmare is the best at telling scary stories ?
I love Mr nightmares videos he honestly has kept me alive over the years and I know it sounds crazy but listening just calms me down always and keeps me busy!
Cool stories! Thanks for posting! I'll never work at a gas station, and I typically don't get gas during hours after 9pm even as a guy. I also take flights instead of road trips when it comes to far away destinations.
you know its a good day when you see a good mr nightmare video!
This is why you do t let customers in at night at gas stations and should have a bulletproof window with a microphone speaker
As someone who also makes the drive from North Texas to the RGV often…you just gotta stock up with coffees from bucees in New Braunfels or San Antonio cause i ain’t wasting a second at those middle of no where towns…
Mr. Nightmare - Thanks for all you do. My day is less odious because of these videos...
