Running into the curtains...fighting a kangaroo....one of the best episodes!
I have laughed more while watching this TV show than watching any other TV show ever. This is funny, clean, humor that transcends time. When I am having a hard day? The Beverly Hillbillies are sure to cheer me up . They are always funny.
Couldn’t agree more @Kim! The series did such a great job with prior issues i’ve had, that now i’m back and expecting a LOT from our Hillbillies this time. At the end of last yr 2020 we found that my husband’s cancer came back in his spine. So of course to be cautious he got a flu shot. Couple months later he became paralyzed from Guillain Barre’ Syndrome. If you can imagine, covid 🦠 was/is the _LEAST_ of our problems! So here i am, back again. Not at all surprised to report that the Hillbillies are doing their usual terrific job keeping me amused & distracted! Only need _ONE_ other thing & we will be set, but we need _LOTS & LOTS_ as _MANY as POSSIBLE_
... ... ... PRAYERS!! 🙏🏻PLEASEPLEASE take a few seconds & drop God a line about “ROBIN”. He’ll know who you’re talking about, He knows EVERYTHING! TYTYTY!!

I watched a show a few years ago where they count down the Funniest Television episodes of all time and this episode of the Beverly Hillbillies was #1.
I'm guessin' that #2, #3, AND #4 were from this series as well.

This is hilarious. grew up with these shows. Enjoy them now as much as I did then 55 year's ago.
Green Acres, Get Smart, Gilligan's Island and The Beverly Hillbillies were my favorite shows as a child.

Jethro is a classic. They were all perfectly cast but Jethro Bodine is the funniest in my humble opinion. I also love Mr Drysdale and Miss Hathaway. It's a hard call because all the actors were brilliant. From the expressions on their faces, down to their Hillbilly voices, they were just perfect for their roles and a major part of my childhood. Many Kudos to the writers too. There'll never be shows like this again. The modern world is a far too serious and sensitive place to ever reproduce the colour and fabulous fun of the 60's. Not forgetting the great music that also came out of that era. Sure there was a lot of bad crap going on back then too, but overall, Western nations seemed far more capable of laughing at themselves and the world than they do today.

The episode with the Hippo was also great, Granny thinking it was a hog.
And don't forget the episode she thought the ostrich was a giant chicken
I grew up watching Beverly hillbillies It's great to watch them as an adult

My aunt actually baked a possum one time, for real. Wanted to try a bite of it. But DAD said NO ! Her and her hubby liked snapping turtle 🐢 too.
Sharon Tate was a good looking girl back then. She even looked good in the black wig they made her wear. I love this show as a kid I use to watch the reruns since this show was all done by the time I was born in 1979 but I enjoyed watching this Andy Griffith and Gilligan's Island back in the 80's but out of all the shows this was my favorite show no matter how many times I watch it it still makes me laugh. This show in my opinion is more funnier now then any "Comedy" show they have on this day and age.
