Super build, so clean and accurate. Lots of people asking you to come up with model designs and it's easy to see why. Would be super cool if you did a mitsubushi zero to match the hellcat or better still perhaps the seaplane version the rufe.

Yet another amazing build! Surprised you got the weight so low despite using very thick 5mm board. It probably wasn’t necessary, but should provide more durability. I noticed your motor gives 600g of thrust, so right now you are at approximately 2:1 ratio. Great paint job and finish! Keep it up!

I'd never be able to get it done right. I don't have the tools it takes. Plus, my eyes give me problems working on things very small, also, hands shaky. Wish I could get one made of thin Alluminm, framing of Alluminm too. With gas rotory engine.
Anyone know of an alternative to the XPS he uses in the United States? All I can find is foam board from which I have to manually peel off the paper, way more wasteful than I'd like..

As usual you have produced a great model.
But explain to me the difference between the various types of foam: they are of different strength or they were pieces you had at home.
If I have seen correctly, it is all 5 mm thick, even the coatings
coatings of rudder and elevator 3mm, all other parts 5 mm. Wing also can be covered by 3mm skin

А что получится из затеи сделать самолёт со сходной оригиналу нагрузкой на крыло (с поправкой на правило квадрата-куба)? Так для этого f6f поднять массу в 5 раз при сохранении размеров. Ну либо хотя бы чтобы он летал на сооьветствующих масштабу скоростях (135-610 -> 10-50)
кирпич получится, плотность воздуха не масштабируется

при размахе 1 метр вес должен быть не более 250г
@@NumaVIG кому должен? Дарт 250 летает при размахе 570мм с весом до 300г прекрасно.
речь о копийности полета в сравнении с оригиналом. Есть такой самолет Дарт 250?
А сколько реально по времени занимает сборка модели? От распечатки шаблонов до первого запуска
Если все материалы есть. У меня неделя. 2 дня фюзеляж, дня 4 крыло. (вернее несколько крыльев, сразу не получается , выкройки не всегда подходят, зависит от материала) и пару дней на настройку и по мелочи. Дольше погоду ждёшь и по деревьям лазиишь

для тех кто не понял для чего конструкция на винтах, а не на клею как было раньше
@@NumaVIG ааа, о как ))) Сервы на винтах завсегда удобнее, согласен. Так как горят, а на клею потом и не заменить без травматизма крыла. Спасибо.
