Stumbled upon this video tonight. Love all performances of the pipes, and wanted to be a firefighter when I was younger, so its a win-win! Is it shameless to say that Chicago Fire is one of my favorite shows? But the pipes was what drew me to this video....

Very good :) My great grandfather was a fire chief and my grandfather after him was chief of the same station and his funneral had a full pipeband and gun salute. Its a beautiful thing :)

Chicago bagpipes and drums run rich in tradition 💙🤍❤ After a horrible weekend where we lost Officer French, the 2nd in command - Eric Carter - was heard on police radio/scanner "do not wait for bagpipes" while Officer French was being escorted to the morgue was undoubtedly a slap in the face towards her and her family in blue. This is a tradition, this is a part of Chicago history, this is what is done for the fallen. The entire CPD are already feeling alone and that they have no support, and then for the 2nd in command to order they not wait for the bagpipes is just real dishonor.
After hearing 2nd in command say this, I decided to look up a bagpipe video on Chicagos fallen "Going Home" in honor of Officer French 🙏

If you mean from series Chicago Fire then you are wrong. House 51 does not exist, it was all shot in studio. But where fire truck scenes are shot, it was filmed in real fire house but I don't remember name of it.
