As the clouds opened up from the heavens and the light shone through.... thats what I think about all these Ambient products from Hourglass... BIG LOL I know... These blushes are lovely... they look beautiful on the skin... On my fair skin all six shades will work. I'm a little concerned about ethereal glow and dim infusion on deeper skin tones... although they may suit as a highlight. The textures are like buttah... and they blend out beautifully as well. If hourglass wants to release a few more colors... I wouldn't mind ;) Although these do cover a pretty nice spectrum. :) So I hope you mighty fine Folks found this video useful... Tara you probably won't see this but you are awesome at describing products. The way you clearly described the purpose of the ambient light powder so precisely is impressive. I have held off buying any because I haven't been satisfied with reviews/explaination/demos of them. You sold me on these.
Loved how to displayed them side by side, super good idea. I have all of these and never thought about how they can go together!
Best review and demo on theses. I've watched a few UA-cam videos on the blushes to get a idea of the best shade for me and this by far was the most helpful

The blushes are a good option for those who wanted the powders since you do get the concept of the powder in there too for less price. I like that, will definitely try them out in-store, and check the veining before you buy it!

Beautiful Blush!
I use the Diffused Light to set my concealer and it has become Holy Grail. I am not a blusher fan and actually prefer a lighter matte bronzer with a deeper matte bronzer to contour. After watching this I want to purchase one of the finishing powders to use as my finishing overall blending step. I live within walking distance of Sephora and cannot wait to go pick one up. Thanks Tara! I had a hard time deciding which color to choose. This tutorial helped me immensely! I love all of the colors, but with my skin tone (medium to tan with neutral undertones), some of them may or may not show up on my skin. I think I'll be choosing the plum-colored blush. Again, thanks!

I loved how you showed the blushes alongside their Ambient Powder counterparts! I am in love with the 2 I got (Mood Exposure and Radiant Magenta). They r so beautiful ;-) I was lucky enough to get that holiday LE ambient lighting palette & I'm absolutely obsessed with it & I dare say that the palette is possibly my fave makeup product EVER! I have used that palette every single day & I've barely put a dent in the powders & I use all 3 & they make my skin & makeup look stunning :-) so I'm very excited to try a couple of these blushes for sure ;-) thx so much for this video & your videos are always so helpful & u look so beautiful in this video xoxoxo

Thanks for explaining this. There is a high end cosmetics boutique near me that sells Hourglass. I love this line, but find myself standing in front of the display trying to make sense of the colors/combinations, and have a hard time deciding what to buy.
Really love them, you giving me the push to try the all powders, I am late on the hourglass bandwagon, I went inti Sephora to get the one like you have with the 3 powders, they where out, so I had just got the Guerlain, voyager in mythic, and I also got the crazy Paris one from the holiday collection, I am very fair so I actually use the crazy ones for a blush, looks beautiful on you :0), I want your makeup storage, just love them, tanks for great video, love your skincare routine, getting some of the products I don't have to try it!

Your haul totally helped me out, on what color I might pick out from the collection. I am thinking of the Magenta one :D I will get another,but for my first the pinkish color is the one I am going to get. I never tried just the powders, I have been tempted to purchase. This might start something for me with Hourglass LOL xox

Great overview, Tara! On an Hourglass unrelated note, Shu Uemura released four silky eyeshadows for the Spring Collection! I just watched your holiday Shu Uemura review yesterday, so I thought I'd give you a heads up that they're now available in single eyeshadow form :)
Ooo Yes i saw those! I checked the back of the palette and their is no cushion in those shadows… I think the new ones are cream to powder so I was thinking they weren't the same and passed on them.. THANK YOU though! :)

Every single blush, bronzer, etc. that has that marbling is created with equal amounts of each powder in every package, it just all swirls differently. Wasn't sure if you thought there was less of some powders inside each blush or that your brush shouldn't pick up all the colors of the marbling. But, just wanted to let you know there is always the same amount in each product.
I allllllmost bought Diffused Heat less than two weeks ago, but I bought the Esperanza palette instead! lol but I definitely will be buying it soon! however, I'll make sure to look at it before I buy it... I would be upset if I got one that was mostly the Ambient Lighting Powder!

Please do a makeup collection and storage video, I love your videos and I watch them all the time. I like that you don't continuously ramble and you get right to. Oh by the way the ambient lighting blushes didn't work for me I still have 2 left.
I am new to your channel, and I found this review to be extremely thorough. Really really great :) I look forward to seeing these in person. I did pick up the trio of lighting powders, however it don't find myself grabbing for it too often. I don't think I know how to use it? Should probably look into that. That booger was pricey to just sit in my collection ;)

Ordered the Radiant Magenta and the one Sephora sent had a lot of the powder and less of the blush. I plan on taking it back on launch date and trading it for one with more coloration. The same thing happened with the Laura Mercier bronzer in Ritual. I guess I'm just too picky :) Thanks for the review!

its so funny..i'd totally forgotten about these and gone and checked sephora's site and all were sold out except for the "radiant magenta". when i 1st looked at that one, i thought i'd prob not want that one? now that i see your video, that seems like its prob my favorite one!! lol...figures as i can't afford to buy it now and its the only one available atm!! i'm sure it'll sell out in no time...i'll have to wait for found 2 on these i can see... :( looks like you got yours just in time tara...
