    I was puzzled by the best way to machine sew my hexies and immediately thought of Sew Very Easy! Sure enough a perfect explanation was just a couple of clicks away waiting for me. Thank you very much, Laura.

    They way you use that stilletto to point out exactly where to stop and start stitching and how close to the paper's edge and then how you use it to tuck the fabric of the previous seam out of the way -- well, it's just done so effectively to communicate the instructions on what is usually a very tricky block. Nice going.

    Thank you for this great and very easy to follow tutorial. Do you have videos showing how to put these Grandma's Garden Flowers together in a quilt. I am a complete beginner but the Grandma's Flower Garden looks like it could be easy enough.

    • @SewVeryEasy
      @SewVeryEasy  7 років тому

      Thanks for asking, you would just continue until you have 3-4 rounds on each block. After you are done all the blocks you just sew then together. Try making a pillow first, and then do a quilt.

    • @gabbyg561
      @gabbyg561 7 років тому

      A pillow would be a great idea. That would be a good starting project. Umm, another question is, will 11/2 in hexagons look good and fit nicely around the 2 in hexagons, in the Flower?
      Oh, and I was wondering how the template might be used for hand quilting the hexies? That would be fun when watching TV, or when in the car.

    Brilliant tutorial and product! May I ask...since we're not using the fabric edge as our guide, could we not eyeball the 1/4 inch and hand cut them? Seems like using a straight edge would be pretty time consuming. Thanks is again! New subber here!
