But me and the guy with the Chansey had a good laugh about it, so 10/10 would use a Ghost move on a Normal type again.
I went up against someone in BDSP and god I felt like an idiot 🤣🤣 i accidentally HydroPumped something, and when the "move is not effective.." popped up I just faced palmed so hard.
Had a spore as his opener to keep from the Sweep and Breloom was putting some work in. Pretty much cut off the set up after Reflect which was a pretty big deal. I think he just didn’t play the rest of the team for special attack so it resulted in a set up that let him sweep regardless, but seriously, this guy was not bad. Not bad at all.
brick break instead of mach punch on breloom would have ended the sweep much earlier, spore is a good counter to it it just needs something better than mach punch
@@IGDFC brick break is a pretty bad move, especially on breloom, where mach punch is one of its best moves. However there was no reason for Breloom to stay in on that. Switching into Pex after using Spore would completely kill any chances of success.

The funny thing is he could have literally won if he'd just gone Toxapex -> Marshadow -> Arceus Instead of letting Incineroar heal up on Arceus first, so he wasn't wrong about having a working strategy for it, he just didn't know what it was.

That is one good thing to note: While the game shows the health values as percents, attacks that drain the enemy health (like drain punch) heal as much damage as the actual HP value of damage done For example, Pokémon A has 1000 HP (100%) Pokémon B has 200 HP (50%) Pokémon B users drain punch and does 200 damage to Pokémon A Now, Pokémon A has 800 HP (80%) While Pokémon B has 400 HP (100%)

Turns 10 and 11. "Yummy, god food cake." Also so satisfying watching his health fly up over and over from super effective drain moves. I love drain moves.
It's refreshing to see an opponent who took defeat well. Gregeg was surprised but recognized he needed to modify his strat. And yeah, Dynamax gives Pokemon a huge hp increase, something that's hard to tell on Pokemon Showdown when the hp bar shows percentage.
This is what I call fair game. He had a pretty good team to deal with sweeps but despite his efforts he still lost. But not only did he not complain about hacked or whatever weird excuse, he knew he had to do something about his team. Claps for such a dude, even I rage when such a “toxic” deck is used and I lose

depends on what type of sweeper you face. many sweepers counter each other.
