If we have any ambition we can't be signing Ramsdale who has been shown to not be good enough for a top 4 team. I know Howe improves players but Ramsdale suffers in big games and imo is a worse keeper than Pope. Keeper is the one position you can't cheap out on as there is only one in a game and the base a team is built from them. Money needs to be spent on CB, CM and RW. If Howe thinks Tosin and Kelly are Elite players so he can save money elsewhere then I think we'll be in for a tough next season. Howe has an English bias which is a problem because all the Elite England players are already in established teams - future English talent will take a few years to develop. Sure there are players like Olise but they will be very expensive. We need to look for future Elite/ world class players and there are many more available abroad for a fraction of the cost. I'm sure the recruitment team know more than most of us but I hope we at least buy players with higher potential than Ramsdale.
