The days of Gazza, Beardsley, Waddle, Brian Robson, Steve Bruce, Carrick, Bobby Charlton, Etc etc etc wanting to play for any other team than Newcastle are gone. Newcastle no longer beg at other club's feet. They are more attractive than any other club I can think of in the Prem for all players. Newcastle are not a shopping centre for other clubs anymore. Great show lads, managed to drop my Toon Toon in and then had to walk the dog. Anyway... Two points, the first one, Sandro Tonali is exceptional in tight situations. There was one moment really early in the first half where I think it was Jacob Murphy on the right, being pressured by three Arsenal players and ot was a dangerous situation. Tonali steps in to the middle of the three, receives the ball from Jacob Murphy with literally no space, holds off the tackler and then pops a short pass to Tino i think, allowing us to switch the play to the opposite side of the pitch. It looked so simple and basiybut was anything but. The reading of the game situation, quick thinking, strength, ball control and weight of pass... utterly ludicrous. Second point I think Lee Dixon as an ex Arsenal player was fairly unbiased in commentary and i especially liked him basically telling Arteta and tge fans to shut up about the game management becyas he said "If i was 2 nil up in a semi final you better know id be wasting every minute of time i could.

I read Trafford was a loan, with obligation of £25m in the summer. Burlnleys #2 was Ipswichs #1 last season, so they have a ready made replacement. And they're guaranteed £25m in the summer.

If we can get 12 points out of the next 4 league games, we'll be on 47points with 12games left, it will stand us in very good stead for them 12 games, last season we got 60 points, season before we got 71, it's gonna take 65-73 points to get champions league looking at averaging it out over the last 5seasons. Sp from the last 12 games, we will only need potentially 18-26 points. We can do that easily, especially if we strengthen this month. And keep the mentality we've got now.
