I'm definitely getting myself one of these, I've just spent 2 days trying to remove one seized injector on a Range Rover Sport, the front and middle ones came out easy, but not the rear one, the hardest one to access as always, it finally gave up yesterday lunch time, and thankfully wasn't damaged. Great video. Happy New Year to you mate.

I have heard that modern engines often suffer from not being able to release there injectors, I worked on plant and commercial vehicles back in the 70s and 80s and this was never a problem, it would seem to me that there is a design problem that is the root cause and I think it revolves around poorly designed aluminium heads
They don't make them like they used to lol

Bargain at £150 on ebay, US Pro Tool and some other brands. I can think of some other uses for it as a power slide hammer! Will be ordering one after the festive thing.

Nice and easy good bit of kit .Do the top of the injector not do the calibration ? Or can you just put it back on and it's as good as new ?
I will be changing my BMW F11 cylinder head cover gasket next weekend and need to remove the four injectors. I bought a sliding hammer in case they are stuck. Good to know this tool exists, but very expensive for a home DIY body haha (granted, cheaper then a single injector). Are you local (Hampshire) just incase? :D
once had a mercedes vito with stuck injectors and if you loosen the bolt to the fastener(holder) a few turns and drive around you closest area then you can hear when it comes loose and just drive home and remove it while hot.
Doesn't always work that way. Especially when the injectors are completely seized, you will see videos on UA-cam of hydraulic presses, putting over 15 tonnes on injectors and still not budging. No way your engine can do this and also sometimes you can cause damage. It will work sometimes just not all the time

The best way i found to remove stuck injectors, pour red diesel over the injectors, loosen bolts that hold injectors, start engine and let the engine compression and heat loosen injector. Even go for a short drive..
Unfortunately, I cannot think of many cars where you can do this with like this car, you cannot take the rocker cover off without taking the injectors pouring diesel into or on the injectors will just go into the head and will not go into the righreplace. And a lot of injectors will snap inside the Taking the bolt off and starting the engine when the injector is seriously. Seized will not do anything.
You need to try it on one of the M9R Traffic/Vivaro injectors
Or a 2.0 transit😢😢😢
Like I said in the video. This will not do everything. But it is a hell of a lot cheaper than the hydraulic press tool

If you explore the website it lists all the injectors it works for. Given that injector is a European one, I’d imagine it will be suitable
It all depends some of them. Need the fifteen ton hydraulic press and even that doesn't get them all out

Get ready for all the vivaros with stuck injectors… one on mine broke part of the engine case it was that stuck. Looks like the perfect tool for them…

Unfortunately most injectors you cannot do this with The reason is the rocker cover is in the way and half of the injector is inside the head. So doing this will just pour all that stuff into the head and the oil. And you cannot take the rocker cover off without removing the injectors first

This tool is good and had great success but 2010 Renault traffic injectors are a cock to get out it normally takes a lot of swearing and drilling grinding and a week to get all 4 out . The cap nut left in bottom takes finesse and a little bit at a time or it cracks the head if you try to pull out from the bottom which happens to me once I have got better over the years

Like many have said I would like to see it take out M9R injectors I have seen pneumatic pullers explode into pieces trying to drag them out even the Pichler.
Hi mate like I stated in the video. This will not do everything. If they are completely seized this machine will not do it. You need the hydraulic one, but unfortunately that costs a 100 times more.
The many uses of a pnumatic slide hammer.
Used one of these on my sprinter and all 4 injectors did not move
None of these tools can remove proper seized injectors. Especially on M9R780 engines.
So there's not an adapter provided in the kit that's suitable for a VW 1.6? Hmmmm?

if you had only slackened all the injector anchor nuts half a turn and fired up the engine they w0uld usually break free it's an old fitters trick
If you know anything about modern injectors when they get seriously, see some of them Snap inside the engine with the hydraulic press. Putting over 15 tonnes of pressure on them starting the engine just will not work in these scenarios. It will work sometimes but can also cause a lot of damage
Was excited to see this video, and the speedy results in getting the last b****d injector out with the new tool that arrived. NOPE - didn't shift it a mm even having drilled the entire sleeve out around the injector and having soaked it in WD40 pentrant for a week... :(

External injectors make a putty well around it fill with vinigar

Let me tell u if an injecter is remotley seized this aint doing it i used u need a hydrolic injector puller with around 20 ton of hydrolic presure thise get lightly seized injectors if its not coming out woth a slide hammer this is literally a penumatic slide hammer

If it's an American tool then the spanner size will be 1". Hence the 25mm odd size. Lingering colonialism, don't you love it.
