Bột chiên chú Thái- For me uncle does really delicious fried rice cakes but it’s his fried pasta that I often crave. You need to make sure to come a little later as he usually doesn’t start frying the pasta until later into the night when his family will show up to help him out.

@@mwn7521 khoan đã nghe mình nói nhé 🥰 vốn dĩ cái chữ, nét bút tiếng việt thì nó cũng là văn hoá, truyền thống của cha ông ta, cần gìn giữ và phát triển theo cách chuẩn mực nhất và bạn hay bất kì ai đâu muốn con em mình đi học nhưng lại viết sai chính tả đâu. Vì vậy nên việc sai chính tả chỉ có thể mong cầu được sự thông cảm của mọi người thôi và không thể trách người khác khi chỉ ra cái sai được đâu ạ (trừ khi đấy là ác ý bắt bẻ). Mình biết vì nhiều nguyên do nên vẫn còn nhiều người chưa tốt nhưng Viết Đúng Chính Tả Là Chuyện Bình Thường nó không hề khó hay quá hoàn hảo để chạm tới đâu. Ngày nay nếu muốn ta hoàn toàn có thể tự cải thiện ngữ văn của mình tại nhà. Kì thi quốc gia vừa rồi còn có một cụ ông tầm 80 tuổi vẫn thì đấy ạ.

Dude I loved the GoPro footage because with this channel it’s not about fancy high quality shots it’s about you and your interaction with the camera/audience. Your blessed to not need a great camera to make great videos so please don’t stress about that because I doubt any of your subs even care about you switching camera, just do what makes you the most comfortable and that will shine through in the video like it did in this one.
In Vietnam, there are not only delicious food, but also many famous tourist attractions. In the future, you can make videos about these famous tourist spots and the delicious food there please ,thank you Max 🇻🇳🤝🇺🇲
I'd love to see him go around to the more touristy places and food vlog from there, too. I'm waiting for him to do a road trip and do some adventurous stuff like the Ha Giang Loop, caving, riding the Dinosaur Spine, etc. :)

Fried radish cake is so oily and unhealthly but there is absolute no other way to make it yummy and crispilicious without the oil. Such a treat. When I was in highschool, I ate that everyday after evening class. 🥰

I love your video, btw just to let you know that actually we dont say “rau hấp” or “steam veg”, we say “rau trụng” because the vegetable is dipped into the boiling water, not steamed. Your Vietnamese is getting better day by day, keep it up!!

Fyi, this is another version of Bun rieu, it is the Southern style with many kind of topping and the broth is a little sweet.
Bun rieu from Northern mostly made from small crabs, with tomatoes+ tofu and the broth is a little sour. Actually, any version of Bun rieu is good to try. I like it. Thanks again.

Chủ quán thật có tốt, họ sử dụng các vật dụng inox hoặc nhôm để đựng nguyên liệu có nhiệt độ nóng. Tôi thấy một số nơi sử dụng thùng nhựa hoặc thùng sơn tái sử dụng để thêm nước lèo rất độc hại. Hey Max I’ve been watching your vloggs for a few months now and you and your style is cool 😎. bún riêu is a favourite for me too. But you are ahead of me in the eating of Mắm tôm 🫢 I’ve tried several times but I still haven’t mastered it yet. My partner eats it , but you inspire me so I will continue to endeavour to get over the taste , smell going forward.. Living here in Hanoi now for three years I will still try to get over the phobia of this famous vietnamese condiment and hopefully one day enjoy it like you do 😜🙏🏻✌🏻
sometimes u gotta get it right, adding a lil of this and that def lighten the smell and flavor, id like to put in a little extra sugar and a tắc, mix it up and its now 10x better
My rule of thumb is to try something about 7-8x over the course of months/years (depending how bad it is to you, you may need years to attempt again). Eventually, you'll learn to tolerate, if not love it. I hate blue cheese because the way it looked and smelled, but by about the 4th attempt, it became my favorite cheese. Hahaha! Hated the smell and taste of Brussels sprouts, but now I LOVE it. Hated the way beets smelled like dirt, but now I actually appreciate it's earthiness. I cannot say the same for mam tom, though...I can eat it diluted into broths or smashed into papaya salad, but not how Max is eating it.

Interesting-here in Seattle you find blood in all forms at the Asian markets. At the same time, there are parts of a lamb that you cannot buy here because they have been deemed “not edible.” (I guess someone needs tell the people of the Balkans that they’ve been eating harmless-but-inedible food for generations…)

Hi Max, I really like your video (again) 😁 just something: instead of saying Giỏi (Great) you can say Tuyệt vời (Fantastic) it is more suitable to the situation. And instead of saying Rau hấp (steam the vegetables) , you can say Rau trụng (briefly cook the vegetables in hot water for few seconds), it is more southern :))

There was a bot chien cart right outside of the main post office (across from Notre Dame church). My elementary school was just around the corner (Lasan Taberd) and every now and then my dad would buy me some after school. That couple running the business had 2 sons who also went to the same school.
Usually by default they use chicken eggs but they also had duck eggs.
