No way I found Palladio and Adiemus, then discovered the same person made them, and then that his birthday was right around the corner. Bravo Mr. Jenkins
Just went to see Karl in Glasgow tonight. Glad I got to see one of my music hero’s
What a lovely interview ❤ Happy birthday Sir Jenkins
The composer of one of the great pieces of exhilerating classical music. Diamonds are forever.
My freshman year of high school marching band played a show of 4 of his songs including Adiemus and it’s still a song that get my heart racing and blood pumping ❤
I came across his music by chance when I was listening to his motets; number 3, Gloria - Laudamus te, is one of the most beautiful pieces of music I have heard in recent years, it captured my full attention. I have great respect for his work.
