We worked a variation of Shawn Mendes' Crochet Summer Shirt with floral appliques using a pattern we created.

The entire shirt was worked with a lace pattern consisting of shell/ fan stitches and dcs.
Other stitches:
✔️Dc
✔️Sc
✔️Shell/Fan stitches
🧶 Part 1: We worked the lower body of the shirt in the form of the lace pattern (link above)
🧶 Part 2: We worked the upper body (back panel and front panel)
🧶 Part 3: We folded the panels and joined at the shoulders
🧶 Part 4: We worked the button and button hole flaps and collar
🧶 Part 5: We worked the sleeves and sewed them onto the shirt
🧶 Part 6: We edged the sleeves and base of the shirt
🧶 Part 7: We attached the buttons, the applique and the pocket

Very easy to follow for Intermediate level crocheters.
Note that this same technique can be replicated for any size by adjusting the measurements.

How can I divide the panels into three I’m having difficulty trying to divide them
You are dividing/folding one long rectangle panel into three.
The rectangle is first as wide as the widest part of your body.
Then you fold it into two front panels and a back panel. The back panel is almost twice of one front panel.
I demonstrated this in the video. Watch it again and let me know if you face the same problem. 🙂
