Holy Crap. I have just learnt this in 15mins. Bit confused at first but after watching a couple more times I got it. Its my favourite song and to be able to play it is awesome!!!
Dude, i play piano for only one year, but u'r tutorials help's me think that i'm playing like for a whiiile, u'r tutorials are realy great, thank u! :)))
Can't do that unfortunately due to copyright law... playing the whole song would be seen as a cover in stead of a lesson. It's definitely a lesson though :). Glad you liked it. Cheers
Could work, although I'd suggest putting in an A minor (A major would have a 'c#' as the third, which falls outside of the key of this song and therefore might sound a bit 'strange'). This tutorial is for teaching the piano part as it is played on the original recording, and what you're suggesting is not what happens there (what I show in this vid is exactly what is played there). However, a little creativity is always nice! :) mess around and feel free to make your own version. Cheers.
I'm thinking about setting up a second youtube channel with me doing covers yeah.. might just take a little while, but I'll definitely keep this one in mind as well :).
This has been very, extremely helpful, especially for someone like me who doesn't know the first thing about chords. I know C, that's about it. :P Subbed and liked, thank you so much for this.
My course, teaching you the complete basics of Pop-Piano (you'll learn all about chords and patterns) is currently undergoing a translation to English. This week I'm going to release the first few chapters for FREE. If you'd like to stay informed, you could subscribe to my newsletter over at my website (link is in the description below the video). Cheers
I suggest to listen to the original and play along. All the info is in the vid. As the melody is sung in the original and not played on the piano and I want to teach you what the original piano is playing, I don't play melodies here. Cheers, thanks and glad you liked it!
you've helped me a lot!! I don't have my piano with me right now though but I've definitely got the link saved so I can listen to it again... Is there a music sheet that we could have?
Its a very good tutorial but maye you habe to say when you play the chorus and how often and so on but maybe you can add the melodie or voice on piano!? But really good!
I was wondering, are you perhaps Dutchs as well? Also, splendid piano skills! I am just a beginner (I'm more comfortable with singing) but I have taken up the piano as well. Just a question, during the chorus when you do the switch from for example the G octave to the A# octave would it maybe not sound a bit better when you for example have a regular A inbetween and then From A# to C to the D and then give the D an extra swing? I am just a beginner but I was just wondering :) Lots of love X
Haha, yeah thanks. I know how to speak (write) English I guess... would just be nice if my pronunciation would improve in a way so that it's not that obvious I'm from Holland. Since I'm a singer (English) as well and all... might help the quality / credibility of that too. :).

No one makes it easier. It's never too late unless you're physically handicapped (can't use your hands). IT's all right there!
