Great job look the bollocks but i would have used a mini gun in the engine bay just to get into all the tight areas but thats just me . Flow coating is a must on a job like this .👍👍
Hey Cliff. New sub here. Great job. Love the colour. i'm a white-van-man only if i had a car i'd certainly consider that colour. Green is my favourite and that shade looks awesome. Looking forward to the next stage and your future projects. Epic work Buddy. Stay cool.
Thankyou sir and i appreciate the sub. I wasn't too sure of the color choice at first but in the end it looks awesome. I plan on keeping the videos coming!
Have to do a little touch up on my spoiler, roof of my car and louvers! I have the primer and base coat that I need! What clear coat do you suggest! Btw I just subscribed your paint work is magic!
Honestly, any 2k clearcoat that'll fit your budget. If it's a cheaper line, I'd make sure to do 3 coats to give you some film build... thank you for the sub and comment, bro!
Great paintjob, Sir! I have a question for you.. Can both a Volkswagen LA7W Standox solvent base (+60% of acrylic thinner) and the next 2K anti-scratch clear coat (mixing ratio: 2:1+10% of acrylic thinner) be sprayed with a H-2000 mini gun having a 0.5 mm tip? Or is it required a bigger tip? I have to do only a little spot repair. Thanks a lot!
Thank you, sir!... I personally have never sprayed standox base coat or used a mini gun but I would think you could use a mini gun for a small repair. You might have to move a little slower with it being a small tip gun to get it to lay out. Just take your time and adjust as you need to.
With the ppg envirobase, I've had good luck paint cars apart, and it all matches when it goes back together. Just gotta make sure you spray everything the exact same way.
@@cliff_hatch3r thanks for the reply. I have that same gun and paint line. I will definitely be trying. Do you drop pressure for drop coat or just back up and keep at 25 ?
@Gera alday it's no problem. Feel free to ask me anything... I drop the psi down to 18, increase the distance, and slow down. Kinda just let metallic just fall in place
@@cliff_hatch3r thanks you bro this is golden ! I appreciate you ! Keep up the great work !! I use the same paint line recently had trouble with a blazer. Shop was super cold and with no heat
I appreciate the comment. I didn't think anyone would really care about the specs. I'll keep that in mind for my next video. If it helps I use pgg / envirobase products and I spray base with sata 5000 wsb and clear with sata 5000 rp. If there something you want me to explain, just ask
Valid and good comment diamonddetails. Some people just like to watch a pro at work and some people appreciate the finer points of the work, specifications and technique. Learning and knowing what the audience is interested in and the depth of it's understanding is crucial to channel development. i'm pretty sure your comment will move the presentation up to a new level.
@Richard, A Stonemason NOT a freemason then he should inquiry about it look at project farm people refer hey can you do this, does anyone have a degree or experince about youtube it is his channel and he can do what he likes sure he posts his work but then is he gonna start naming everything from all the tools in the building?? Does that make sense just because you see something does not mean that the other person perspective knows that you should inquire than to critique try running a shop while doing youtube and also make your own videos and prove me wrong

Thanks, man! I need to get a mini gun for tight jobs like that. It probably would have been a lot easier. The flow coat is gonna make it lay out nice
Can't wait to see how this car turns out.
Eres un artista
Belo trabalho

Nice colour what town you in I'm in Auckland NZ
What was your guy to panel distance and gun set up. Looks awesome
Thanks man... Roughly 6 to 8 inches and the is a sata 5000 rp 1.2 spraying at 28 psi
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🇷🇺
Question , will you see quotor panel diffrent shade from door ? Because your parts are in off the car ?
With the ppg envirobase, I've had good luck paint cars apart, and it all matches when it goes back together. Just gotta make sure you spray everything the exact same way.
How do you nib it man. They haven’t taught us in school lol but had it on a test 🤦🏻♂️
Check out my video on the flow coat on this car. I also go over nibbing, sanding, and buffing
Exelent bro,What is the color code???
I appreciate bro, it's code FA eruption green
do you give it a next coat of clear
Yessir. Also sanded and recleared it and sanded and buffed it. Check out the New Video!
Great work ? Is this ppg ehp if so what was you’re gun set up and pressure for coats ?
Yessir, I spray it with a sata 5000 wsb, full fluid, full fan, at 25psi
@@cliff_hatch3r thanks for the reply. I have that same gun and paint line. I will definitely be trying. Do you drop pressure for drop coat or just back up and keep at 25 ?

No problem bro. Ive been spraying it for a long time. A cold shop isn't good for spray water-base lol
How many litres of paint was needed?
I believe it was about 8 liters altogether. I'd have to check my product sheet
What guns are you using for base and clear?
For the base, im using Sata 5000 wsb and for clear, sata 5000 rp 1.2
Thank you,
Water or solvent?
Water-based
Nice .. what do you prefer spraying
How much for a custom paint job?
It all depends on what exactly you want and how involved you want to get with it
@@cliff_hatch3r I want to take the wrap off and make it look how the wrap looks. Like bumblebee
@@cliff_hatch3r so how much do you think?
@Awesomeeraof11 message me on Instagram @cliff_hatch3r or on Facebook with some pics and I can give you a rough estimate on price
@@cliff_hatch3r well i don’t have Facebook
Don't like. Or subscribing. No specs on gun, clear, etc. No thanks. Best wishes 👀
