    I got these jeans a month ago and am in love with them. They are an homage model of LVC 55501, which has wide and baggy fits. I can't wait how these will turn out after wearing for an year without washing.

    can I suggest to soak them in warm water one time,? they shrink a bit and the blue become more "even" . After this process I absolutely love them more than my other more expensive selvedge jeans.

    i got a pair of these last august as well as a pair of calvin klein Selvedge - only washed both pairs once, and they're a decent fit now, but prefer to wear these ones (and were half the price of the calvins which were also in a sale too!)...the buttons were quite stiff at first but i love them now!

    I have a pair of Red Tornado Jeans and love them. Mine are 17 or 18 oz denim. Very nice quality and good stitching no loose threads.

    Ha, I remember your post! Just got a pair of these myself after loving my pair of SD-107's from Red Tornado.
    I will definitely be soaking the crap out of them but to each his own 😎

    Thanks very much for the video, I truly appreciate it. I have one small question though about shrinkage, how much did these shrink after the first wash, or whether if you did?

    • @stuntedmonk
      @stuntedmonk  Рік тому

      Hello Satya, apologies for the delay. I cannot answer that question just yet as I wear my jeans for around 2 years without washing them. I'm about 4 months into wearing these so it'll be a while until I can advise. Thanks for popping by!

      All a question of preference. This is my most viewed video by a very long way. Personally, besides how baggy they are, I feel the quality is there. Despite having not washed/soaked them, the denim is already very soft. Quite a striking pair of denim jeans for the relatively low price.

    Just by looking at this video, I could tell these have an exceptional construction for a 60quid, comes with ykk laurel leaf buttons as well.. lol lots of prejudice against chinese made

    • @stuntedmonk
      @stuntedmonk  Рік тому +4

      For me Chinese made items have previously been on the cheaper side and lesser quality. Red Tornado, however, are great value and good quality. Certainly worth a try. They also produce heavier weight denim, I’ve seen 17oz

      @jimbobimbo9826 the Levi's he's referring to are actually American denim made by cone mills.
