    oh, everyone fussing over how simple it is as if everything he uploads should be a masterwork. I think its a nice little table, a nice lower effort project that has a rustic sort of appeal to it.

    I was making one of these, and struggling to get it to sit flat on an uneven floor. although the end of the log itself was flat or very close, the floor wasnt. Old timer gave me the hint of flipping it over and adding a big "bowl" to the underside to help it work kind of like a 3 legged stool and not on a highspot in the middle. completly fixed my problem. Just passing along a tip i would have never thought of to add to your arsenal.

    Hey Andy, my neighbors just cut a tree and I managed to snab two slices of stump. How can I prevent it from cracking? And how long/where should I store it (I live in Buenos Aires, where we have > 50% humidity most of the year)? Is it even worth it with not the best conditions?

    So I do this same thing a lot at the furniture maker that I work at and I was wondering why do you choose to use a planer over a grinder and belt sander to level the top? I’m just a bit curious and am just wondering what advantages there might be. Also any advice to an up and coming woodworker such as myself would be greatly appreciated

    I'm confused on why he layed the log on its side to cut of that branch when it would have been easier to cut it off while it was still sitting upright. Kewl video but I'm so confused on that part. I always cut towards the ground at work and at home when I use my handsaw
