The new Edel Array putter fitting system is excellent. Going through an Edel putter fitting has been on my wishlist for some time. This is the year to cross it off the list.
Been doing this for 30 years. Started with a mini flashlight and a women's compact mirror. Now Amazon has sheets 12"x12" plastic mirror with stick back and a gun laser. Laser must have an on off switch . Adjusting the LOFT/LIE of a putter can be done by hand very easy.
Wanted to try the Edsel fitting system and set up fitting at Golftec. Golftec pro was fantastic and my aim bias shocked me. what a difference it makes. While you would make every putt, increased confidence and a better chance to make more putts made me a believer.
Was that lesson plan tit had in Georgia last year when you wanted to make the champions tour a waste of your time or did it help any at all? Because I feel like my lessons are going terribly and I've only just had 1 lesson so far.
I based my purchase of my current putter almost solely on the weight. It’s a Rossie and feels a bit heavier than other putters. I’ve never played any other style. I’d love to get fit for a putter, but I’m guessing a lighter putter would feel uncomfortable to me.
Sketched out an idea for an adjustable, modular putter (worse than Edel's idea) a few months ago and wondered why no one had done something similar... guess they did. An interesting idea that I hope to see from some other companies as well. Putter fittings in general are underrated but something where you can try every head, neck and grip option without a centre having to have 100 putters would probably increase the number of places you could go to get fit for a putter.
Hola MSG, tbh for me that was one your most informative, interesting and instructional videos ever 👍👏 Much better that what it’s like to be a member of a wealthy Golf Club where the only way I could get in is if I was a waiter there??? 🤔😳😵💫😂🤣👍
Putt side saddle, right foot pointing out to 1st base. Lean over from the waist and get eye over the ball. I see the line way better, ymmv. If it works, please like my tip.
honestly the number one thing in putting is practice. most working class stiffs like myself have very limited time to play AND practice, especially if you're married or with kids etc. ..
If you can’t read greens you probably aren’t going to make much outside of 5 feet. But having good speed and directional control will definitely help get you inside 5 feet more often and avoid 3-4 putts
I agree a little bit. My problem isn’t reading a putt it is hitting the line. I have a tendency to close the face at impact meaning I miss left far too often.
I can't aim with a stripe on the ball, my eyes deceive me and line it left. But I don't have a laser on the course. So I aim a degree or two right or ignore the line on the ball.
How many $ is it ... amazing idea, probably worth it. I've easily spent $1000 on putters. Use a customised John Letters Golden Goose flange bullseye putter, works well enough for me. PS Bettinardi Odessy Scotty Cameron Mizuno Porsche ... all in the cupboard.
Ever open a stuck jar of pickles? The human hand is powerful. Ever hold a finely balanced putter? Ever shoot that tiny ball 8' past the hole! Keep your pickle-jar opening hands out of the putting stroke.

Can you adjust putter length in the Edel kit?
What about the length of the putter? If too long the aim will be off.
Can we buy the edel fitting system?
Awesome little kit to have, customise your putter anytime you want and easy to DYI 😊
Nice putter system. It would be nice to have that kit. How much does a putter cost?
great video. explained it all as it should be. putting is quite the science!
Hey MSG - great content. Can you address the age of wedges and how long should we be using them? (groove wear down) Thank you-
Would have loved to have seen you do this with the LAB DF2.1 you showed at the beginning!

Couldn’t agree more. This is exactly why have a two ball triple track. It’s paramount that you are aimed correctly.

If you add some acoustic treatments to the room it will keep the sound from.bouncing so.much and reduce the echo in your audio
I got fitted for a edel putter and love it. I have the EAS 1.5
Did you get fitted in the Colorado Location?
@@charlesott4476no I got fitted at club champion
Alignment, distance, confidence, trusting your swing…. Sounds like a job for STOW STICK.
Aim bias, who knew, but it makes sense. Thanks, MSG!

PXG also does this now but they're fitting process isn't this good.
Great video
So many people sleep on Edel putters and it's a shame. They are way underrated and if more people would try them, more people would use them.

Super interesting video
What a great idea.
the speed
I agree with this

If you can't read greens nothing else matters.

If you can't aim correctly, you will never learn to read a green.
It’s truly a chicken/egg thing here.
Substitute speed/line and they’re both still true.

Edel has some good ideas to improve aim but last I knew, they don’t carry left hand products any longer. Huge miss IMO.
400th like. If you can’t hit the hole you’re not strokin it right

6:50 choice of words 🤣🤣🤣
MSG never answers questions.
Ever open a stuck jar of pickles? The human hand is powerful.
Ever hold a finely balanced putter?
Ever shoot that tiny ball 8' past the hole!
Keep your pickle-jar opening hands out of the putting stroke.
Looks like they are copying what EVNROLL has been doing for years. Just saying.
My Evenroll mallet is the best putter I have ever used. Tried edel and didn't like it
Do a search on Edel putter fitting and you’ll see that they’ve been doing this method of fitting for at least 5 years.
Ugh…product sale video. I like your experience insight and practical training tips better SG.
