    You have taught me so much and I was brave enough to start transitioning my thai plant. I used the direct method. It's been 2 months and she is thriving and making a new leaf!

    My first leca try and my first ever monstera usibg direct method and I saw your long method video weeks later, side by side I did a transfer of my philo birkin using same direct method and within a week it showed lot of stress causing yellow leaves and lot of rotten roots. I was worried about my monstera and waiting for its funeral but it showed no such signs and guess what got new perfect healthy leaf 2weeks ago😊. Used direct method with cheese plant but that too showed stress signs so now I'm doing my transitions of pothos, cheese plant, aglaonemas and many more using only long method. It gives sort of insurance against failures. Thanks a lot for making such informative videos. So far my worst experience using direct method was of zz plant😢 got only 2petioles survived.

    this was so interesting....just bought 5 new and established plants at 50% off.....i choose to put them in the long method, based on my fear!!! LOL. What is the minimum amount of time that you would keep a plant in the long method, prior to placing it into LECA? Your presentations are always SO GOOD!!

    • @TheLecaQueen
      @TheLecaQueen  3 місяці тому +1

      Congratulations on your new plants. I coukd not say what the minimum amount of time is because it depends on the plant and the conditions that are provided, so that time will be different for everyone. Go by the roots and how many new roots you have.

    Put a cutting into pon and keeping it in semi-hydro is working surprisingly well for me. Might switch to leca once it gets bigger cause pon is expensive.

    • @TheLecaQueen
      @TheLecaQueen  3 місяці тому +2

      The 'teaching' ones are getting longer. This one is a topic people are always asking me lots of questions about, so I wanted to do a proper deep dive. I know in this world of Tiktok 3, second attention spans this is not the smartest thing to do, but to get the whole story out, it takes the time it takes. I hope the time stamps help people get to what they are looking for.
