I'm the same way with stickers and found out for myself that it's usually a commitment thing-- like you said, once you use them, you don't use them again.. if that makes sense. Watching this video did make me want to use some, but only if there are multiple of the same design.

lol I love yapping, so this was a delight. I have a similar impulse to preserve the stickers I really like - honestly I think it's a big part of why I'm drawn to stamping - because you can't ever 'use up' an image? charms on the other hand I love - there's so many in each little pot I never feel bad about using them, but the texture can be annoying. but I'm definitely more of a topper or charm or stamping person than a sticker person - but I love looking at them!

I emailed deco Miami once about making a solid sheet of a simple theme, like all clouds, or all flowers. Or all birds. They took my ‘suggestion’ but I’ve never seen anything like it from them. I find the sheets are too busy for me. I like simple classy designs and I rarely buy any of those sticker sheets anymore. I can’t do a simple theme on my nails because there isn’t enough of what I like on the sheet for me to do an entire manicure. And then I usually like only a few of the designs anyway, and the rest go to waste. I guess at this point, I lean towards stamping because I can duplicate a design on my nails with a stamp.

These that I have are definitely fun, but yes exactly it saddens me thinking there just aren’t enough of what I want (or they would be all used up in one mani) and then the rest go to waste! I used to wear stickers more often, but not I actually much prefer water decals to stickers. I think they lay better on the nail and you can easily overlap them as well as move them around while they're still wet. I also have plenty of charms and gems, but it's definitely a struggle to find smaller sizes.

Thank you for the glitter warping tip!!! I have the HT bat glitters and had so many that lifted up on the edges and kept getting caught in my hair and falling off 😩 I’ll have to try your trick next time I use those!! The nail art supplies struggle is real tho, I think the fomo of single use stickers is why I’ve gravitated towards stamping plates more. But I’ve accumulated several stamping plates, stamping polishes,vinyl stencils, and stickers… they look so fun and the nail art concepts are plentiful! But I’ve only used my stamping plates twice this year. 😅 I always keep them in mind while doing my nails, but I love using crazy formulas and then I don’t want to cover the beautiful shimmer or flakies?! 🥺

ah, i was one of the people who commented and was looking forward to seeing the nail art supplies! 😆 the emoji face i thought of when you mentioned the eye stickers was this one 👁️👄👁️ and you could totally do that with those eyes and the lips on the next sticker sheet you showed, but i'm trying to think of a nail concept/theme/occasion where you'd even do that lolol. april fools day? 😅 oh i was definitely a person who hoarded stickers, temporary tattoos, glow sticks (like i'm pretty sure those expire and i never used any 😭), etc. in elementary school. but i'm now that i'm an adult with my own money, i think it's easier for me in a psychological sense because i feel like it would be a waste of my money if it just goes unused, as well as if i really did want more, i have funds to get them or at least something similar! if you were really wanting to do a set with the stickers but would still like to have them all in your collection, maybe you could do press ons? the sheet wouldn't look as pristine anymore, but they'd still technically be in your collection! that's what my mom does, as well as having many binders of stamping plates! endless nail art only limited by how much stamping polish you have! another thing is water slides (decals?) that you can print out from your computer on specific paper. again, only limited by ink in your printer and the special paper! yeah, i've noticed in the natural nail/regular polish community charms and stuff like that isn't that popular! 😞 to prevent stuff from catching on everything i personally use a thick viscosity gel overlay to either encapsulate (like with the bat glitters) or use it around to fill in any gaps from the curve of the nail in between the rhinestone or charm or whatever. but it's definitely a learning curve and i still haven't gotten the hang of it, so i can definitely see how people could think of it as a hassle, and just avoid using those kinds of things at all

I don't like charms because I'm a picker lol, they don't last, and especially if they snag in my long hair..sends me! I can relate I get enjoyment just looking at the stickers than putting them on haha. I love deco beauty stickers very high quality, don't lift and snag. Those are the only ones I'll reach for occasionally. I wish they'd make some rose gold, silver and holo designs. I'd be all in! ❤🎉

All my nail art is made with stickers😅 I also don't like taking them off at the end of the day and not seeing them again.. so I got press on nails to customise.. only doing nail art there so I don't feel bad for using the stickers

I enjoy using stickers. I’m like you though, I want to use them but I want to keep them too. I just finally got to the point that I just said, you only live once, so wear and enjoy. I skipped through some of the glitter segment. I just don’t have steady hands anymore. I do well to get a sticker where I want it on the nail. I did intend to get the bat stickers and totally forgot and missed out. I especially like water decals. I have more of them than stickers. I also love reverse stamping although I’m still learning. I love your collection. Have you considered a small photo book to keep the sticker sheets in? It would be so handy just to flip through and see them. That’s what I plan to do when I get a few more sets. Thanks for sharing your collection!❤
These are all so cute! Although I agree that the dried flowers from Cirque seem a bit impractical. I haven't used too many stickers or charms as I'm still relatively new to exploring nail polish, but i plan to get into them in the upcoming fall months. I am artistically challenged, so I think they will really help me out 😄 i can definitely see the urge to hoard and admire their beauty but using them is also an excuse to buy more!
Their older ones were soo much better! I’m sidelined they went with such large flowers this time lol but yess they really are so fun to use!! And omg so true about using them = buying more lol! I think my gripe with some sheets though is that I only end up wanting to use very specific stickers vs actually using them all up.. I wouldn’t want to be left with a bunch of the same thing 🙈

They are so fun, I'll use them lol Seriously though, it sounds like you have some great ideas for how to place all these things and utilize them in art, you really should. It's interesting to hear the perspective that you wish there were more of a certain sticker design type, when you have not yet used the ones that are there. That's curious to me. I wonder if you really do prefer just looking at a sticker collection from time to time, rather than taking that one-time plunge and using them up, a few at a time. Are you into ephemeral art at all? I feel like there is something very special about art that is enjoyed briefly and never again. This video is relevant to me because I just got into a few Deco sheets over the last two months, and I *love.* My hands are too shaky for detailed nail art, so stickers are a great option for me. My favorite so far is the "Jewels" sheet-- I recently used some of the blue and purple ones over the cool tones from the Orly Melting Point collection, and it was one of my favorite manicures ever! So glowy and majestic. Those stickers are kinda thick so I did two coats of the qdtc from Essie Gel Couture, nice and plump, and the mani lasted for 10 or 11 days before I finally removed it. So fun. There's always photos! I'll do another combo like that soon. I don't mind using them up. They are fun to have on the nail. I also got "Stay Groovy," and the glow-in-the-dark sheet! I sort of skipped through some of the charms part of this video, because I'm not so interested in those, they seem trickier for my messiness lol But I loved that one mani photo you put up with the navy blue base color and the iridescent star glitters, so cute, such careful placement. Hope you continue to enjoy your collection in whatever way makes you happy! Thanks for sharing ✨

There’s nothing wrong with showing discontinued stuff. Truly don’t understand how you’re to blame for brands doing limited edition stuff…🤨? Also, it’s helpful to see what a brand has done over the years and gives you a feel for what their quality is like! And if someone sees something they love beyond all reason, destashes exist. You don’t need to own something yourself to get enjoyment seeing it. I don’t use stickers but I still like to see them! 😂 thanks for the fun video as always!

I totally get where you’re coming from! it’s definitely great to have the shift in perspective where you can essentially talk yourself out of hoarding those things again, BUT not completely depriving yourself either. if you like something enough, why not buy it right! omg yeah someone else mentioned that with press ons and I was like 🤯 so genius to make sticker looks last!! i’m not much of a press on girlie though so i fear that may be another thing I ‘hoard’ LOL but its definitely a great option. i don’t think i’ve ever tried water decals and i didn’t even know you could essentially make them at home! how fun omg.
soo smart to use a thicker layer of gel to encapsulate any charms/glitters! I only tried using gel once before and yeah find it to be more of a hassle but more so the removal lol 🙈

I am SO weird about using stickers of all types. I understand what they’re for, but I keep them in a little binder instead. 😅 I think the next time I see some nail stickers I like (and think I’ll use), I’ll just get two sheets.

I don't like charms because I'm a picker lol, they don't last, and especially if they snag in my long hair..sends me! I can relate I get enjoyment just looking at the stickers than putting them on haha. I love deco beauty stickers very high quality, don't lift and snag. Those are the only ones I'll reach for occasionally. I wish they'd make some rose gold, silver and holo designs. I'd be all in! ❤🎉
omg yeah i know some people hate charms for that reason too!! or glitters once they start to lift, it really can be so annoying 😅 but so glad you also love deco! omgg if they made more metallic/holo glitters that would be so cute!!
All my nail art is made with stickers😅 I also don't like taking them off at the end of the day and not seeing them again.. so I got press on nails to customise.. only doing nail art there so I don't feel bad for using the stickers

I enjoy using stickers. I’m like you though, I want to use them but I want to keep them too. I just finally got to the point that I just said, you only live once, so wear and enjoy. I skipped through some of the glitter segment. I just don’t have steady hands anymore. I do well to get a sticker where I want it on the nail. I did intend to get the bat stickers and totally forgot and missed out. I especially like water decals. I have more of them than stickers. I also love reverse stamping although I’m still learning.
I love your collection. Have you considered a small photo book to keep the sticker sheets in? It would be so handy just to flip through and see them. That’s what I plan to do when I get a few more sets.

These are all so cute! Although I agree that the dried flowers from Cirque seem a bit impractical. I haven't used too many stickers or charms as I'm still relatively new to exploring nail polish, but i plan to get into them in the upcoming fall months. I am artistically challenged, so I think they will really help me out 😄 i can definitely see the urge to hoard and admire their beauty but using them is also an excuse to buy more!
Their older ones were soo much better! I’m sidelined they went with such large flowers this time lol but yess they really are so fun to use!! And omg so true about using them = buying more lol! I think my gripe with some sheets though is that I only end up wanting to use very specific stickers vs actually using them all up.. I wouldn’t want to be left with a bunch of the same thing 🙈

They are so fun, I'll use them lol Seriously though, it sounds like you have some great ideas for how to place all these things and utilize them in art, you really should. It's interesting to hear the perspective that you wish there were more of a certain sticker design type, when you have not yet used the ones that are there. That's curious to me. I wonder if you really do prefer just looking at a sticker collection from time to time, rather than taking that one-time plunge and using them up, a few at a time. Are you into ephemeral art at all? I feel like there is something very special about art that is enjoyed briefly and never again.
This video is relevant to me because I just got into a few Deco sheets over the last two months, and I *love.* My hands are too shaky for detailed nail art, so stickers are a great option for me. My favorite so far is the "Jewels" sheet-- I recently used some of the blue and purple ones over the cool tones from the Orly Melting Point collection, and it was one of my favorite manicures ever! So glowy and majestic. Those stickers are kinda thick so I did two coats of the qdtc from Essie Gel Couture, nice and plump, and the mani lasted for 10 or 11 days before I finally removed it. So fun. There's always photos! I'll do another combo like that soon. I don't mind using them up. They are fun to have on the nail. I also got "Stay Groovy," and the glow-in-the-dark sheet!
I sort of skipped through some of the charms part of this video, because I'm not so interested in those, they seem trickier for my messiness lol But I loved that one mani photo you put up with the navy blue base color and the iridescent star glitters, so cute, such careful placement. There’s nothing wrong with showing discontinued stuff. Truly don’t understand how you’re to blame for brands doing limited edition stuff…🤨? Also, it’s helpful to see what a brand has done over the years and gives you a feel for what their quality is like! And if someone sees something they love beyond all reason, destashes exist. You don’t need to own something yourself to get enjoyment seeing it. I don’t use stickers but I still like to see them! 😂 thanks for the fun video as always!
