People who work with children deserve a very special place in our world. Naturally that doesn't include those who harm children. This boy's heart glows kindness and awareness. I would gladly hug the parents for the way they have raised him. The little girl is lucky people are thinking about her appearance because these days with media shoving false perfection down our throats, little souls need to not feel knocked off any prefered pedestal early on.
@@neonturtlelover12345 awwww same here!!!!! Especially when that sweet nurse asked if Cuddles should probably have some stickers too! Lost it. Lol I guess I’m not quite as good at “not crying this time” like brave Ben!!!! 💕🥰
Hmm, the dad is feeling very worried and saying it like it is. The mum keeps saying, "he'll be fine" every time. I imagine she definitely needs to be strong and positive for the both of them. Very strong woman, I can't imagine, nor would I ever want too.
Amazing stories about operating on children and their progress. Following the stories to the end of the story. Amazing how the children react and how the doctors’ personally treat them and proceed to heal them.
I commented on a previous episode that I wondered why my son's doctor didn't use glue on my son's gash on his cheek... This ER doctor just answered my question... It was below the eyebrow. Thank you.
I've been recently diagnosed with a brain tumor and I'm an adult. This precious boy is so brave and courageous that I'm humbled and ashamed of my weakness and fear...
Please don’t be ashamed everyone gets frightened. Kids have it explained in a way that they can cope with they don’t always comprehend what is happening to them as an adult has it all chucked at us in one go which is what is scary xx
@@marthadebolt4326 I know but since it doesn't hurt that much I panic and pop it in myself I tell my mum she just says it's fine it's annoying but she's never seen it pop out
Got stitches in my ankle once, nasty thing on nasty wood decayed partially in salt water with slime on it. Turns out there was still a splinter in it that later my mom removed. That hurt. Getting the thing in the first place didn't.
Ben’s father is all gloom and doom, so it’s great that the mother is optimistic. I couldn’t live w that man! The Irish parents on the last few shows are more well-informed than some of the rest of the continent.

Some parents prepare themselves with worst case scenario, and some just try to reassure themselves. Both parents have their own way of coping with a really scary situation. It’s not an appendectomy - it’s surgery on the brain. But as a parent when our kids need surgery it hurts our hearts

The nurse that asked if she should get stickers for his dog cuddles made me smile so big. What incredible people!

Wonderful people, all of them. Parents, nurses, doctors, porters and of course patients. Thank you all for everything you do 💕
I admire Ben's mom strength and optimism 😍😍
Oh...they cut Ben’s beautiful red curls. I love that his mom is so positive...Ben will be fine...he will be fine. So sweet.

The 2 sisters ❤❤
God bless you child 🙏🙏🙏🙏
If someone can answer my question I will be quite happy !
Why do they put tape over the patients eye while having surgery?
Because the light is super strong and can harm the eye even if it’s closed
To protect them from opening similar to the deceased they put eye caps and sometimes glue to keep them from opening.
It's probably to keep the eyes from drying out during surgery, since the blink reflex is absent during anesthesia.
I love children their so cute 💗
Keh Lani
I love children,* they’re* so cute.
Jack Harkness 😂 nice
What positive families! Id be a complete mess
Cut getting glued. I think if they gave the kids a mirror so they could watch, they wouldn't be so fearful. It'd give them something to do also.
that little girl crying for her big sister is me
“My Ella!!!!!” Awwww that was so sweet!!!!!
Ben's curls are so cute

What isa consultant ? A specialist ?
Someone who gets a basic idea of what is wrong so they can consult a specialist is needed
Yes a consultant is a specialist, he or she is the most senior person on the team, with the most experience
@@meganeloise8189 You're completely wrong, the consultant *is* the specialist

Why does that big girl still need to use a pacifier ?
It really depends on the child, some kids are done with them very soon but others keep them longer as a comfort type of thing.
They can cause crooked teeth and should be discouraged early on.
@@patriciaroysdon9540 I'm not saying you should let them keep them, not at all. I'm just saying that it's common for kids to be allowed to keep them even if we shouldn't let them
