Is Pina new to Cedh? That hand they kept was essentially a bad 6 since mox diamond didn't do anything and there was only 1 land otherwise. Then later they flashed in an oppo agent in response to the cast of survival of the fittest rather than the activation. Then the naus cast in a suboptimal position to say the least. No hate obviously, just some spots of improvement.
Pina is actually a good player, with a few top16s and top4s at the Lisbon tournaments but as we all spoke after the match he was a bit tired from the day from work and got excited to try the risky hand hoping from the land from the top, not exactly examining everything else :) By the time of the naus the game had been going for close to 3 hours, and he felt like going for it mainphase would be the best option because of the eventuality of Ruric Thar.
Apparently the owner of the list made a lot of changes a couple of days after we recorded the match. I no longer have access to the original list that I played. You can try and see the history of changes on the list.
Cool game! Although I have to admit I don't really like the idea of bluffing interaction that you don't have. I am really open to politicking and strategic tabletalk in cEDH but that just seems too close to lying for me. And straight up lying and / or breaking agreements works a couple of times until everyone knows not to listen to a word you say
Players were speaking about possibilities for his open mana, and someone mentioned that Dress Down could stop him there, and as Hélder acknowledged he had it in his decklist, it was enough for Pina to play around it and hold back.

Missed Ruric Thar trigger when Hélder cast Deadly Rolic. Thankfully, it didn't change the game's outcome.
Most likely only missed during editing, but everything worked out properly without Hélder's life mattering :)
It wouldnt be a normal cedh game w/o missing some trigger lol
Wow, I wasn't aware of the interaction between ruric that and dragonborn champion. Awesome!
Ruric That comboing off is kind of amazing.

Absolutely wild game! One of the longest I've seen on this channel in a while (:
Great match. Interesting chains.
Loved this game!
Can we get the actual decklists? The list on the cedh decklist database doesn't have ashaya in it.

sad
Random.. but with a swan song on the top deck with Counterbalance.. why wasn’t it revealed on Q ranger? I didn’t see a A-Shepherd
There was a Destiny Spinner on David's control, which also makes creature spells uncounterable :)
@@SplitSecond AHHHHHHHHHHH you’re right, thank you!
Great game!
Pq o Deadly Rollic não desencadeou o Rurik Thar?
Missed during editing :)
Gooooold!
Life link on ruric would be so dope

@@SplitSecond ah okay, that does seem more reasonable
Damn bro first its baal thats playing the silence but now pina with the disrespect... 😑😑😑
Slight missplay, mystical tutor before narset dies could prevent a card draw.
And yeah Pina seems out of place.
