Bought myself a front mount kit a while ago, just blown my 4th standard boost pipe so time to fit it, glad I found this video! Going to give it a go on the weekend, just ordered the turbo adapter and silicone pipe so hopefully all goes well👏🏻

Iv been trying to fit my bottom pipe to the turbo all wrong 😂 going to try your method we’re you fit the silicone to the turbo coupler and then the pipe to silicone 👍🏻
Does this work for the ibiza 6l FR 1.8T BJX engine code as well? In theory it should but i couldnt find any concrete info online, the ibiza 6l cupra 1.8t has the same engine setup and the front intercooler.. cheers man
I have a problem with the front fan, it wont start until coolant temp is 104c and shuts off at about 100, but what really bogs me is that when it gets to those hot temps car idling fuel consumption isn't 0.5 l/h, It reaches 0.9 and even 1l/h sometimes. Do you maybe have a clue how is those 2 things related? I'll fix the fan but I don't want my car to burn more fuel when engine gets hotter :/

Yeah bottom pipe is easy. Top one was a proper struggle with the longer silicon join for the egr that i mentioned in the video

@miagor from what i can recall deleting the egr didnt flag any engine management lights but could be wrong as this was a long time ago

I believe the diesel and petrol intercooler set up is different

They came with the intercooler but they can but bought separately from Darkside developments i think
