Written pattern for those who need it (including me!) down below. Keep in mind I have never written a pattern like this before. All abbreviations are in US terms. _Heart:_ *Round 1* : Start with a magic ring in 1stcolour (pink). Ch 2 (counts as one dc), 2 dc into the ring, ch 2. *3 dc, ch 2, rep from * 2 more times. Tighten the magic loop and join rnd with sl st to first st. You should have 4 sections of 3 dc and ch 2 joined in a square here. *Round 2* : Sl st into next dc, ch 1, make 8 dc into the first gap (which was a ch 2 in the previous rnd.) Ch 1, sc into next ch 2 gap. Ch 1, skip the first dc (of the 3 dc section). In the second dc, make 2 sc, ch 1 and 2 sc all in the same st. Ch 1, sc into the ch 2 gap. Ch 1, 8 dc in the final ch 2 gap. Ch 1 and sl st into the second dc to join and finish the rnd. Ch 1 and cut off yarn, fasten off and weave in the ends. (Make sure the center loop is tight so the heart looks neat!) _Square_ *Round 1* (this round is worked in blo): Insert hook into back loop of the bottom point st of the heart. Sl st with 2nd colour (white) and ch 1. Sc, hdc, and dc. Ch 2 to create a corner, then dc, hdc. Sc into the next 5 sts. Ch 2 to create the second corner, then 3 sc. Skip 1, hdc into the middle of the heart peaks (into the 2nd dc from the first rnd of the heart). 3 sc and ch 2 to create the third corner. 5sc, hdc, dc and ch 2 for the fourth and final corner of the granny square. Dc, hdc,sc and sc again into the first stitch of the rnd where you joined the yarn. Sl st into the first sc through both loops as normal to join. Each side should measure 7 sts long. *Round 2* : Ch 2 (does not count as st), dc into the same st, 2dc. 2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc into the corner. *7 dc across the side, 2 dc ch 2 and 2 dc into the corner. Rep from * 2 more times and complete the 4th corner. 4 dc, sl st into the first dc to join. Each side should now measure 11 sts long. *Round 3* : Ch 2 and dc into the same st, 4 dc. Into the corner make 2 dc, ch 2 and 2 dc altogether (just like the prev. rnd!), then 11 dc across the side. Repeat process until 4th corner is completed, then 6 dc and sl st into first st to join. Each side should now be 15 dcs long. *Round 4* : Ch 2 and dc into the same st, 7 dc, 2 dc, ch 2 and 2 dc into the corner, 15 dc across the side, repeat process until 4th corner is completed. 8 dc and sl st into first st to join. Ch 1, fasten off and weave in the ends. *Round 5/Border* : Take 1st colour (pink), attach yarn to the 3rd stitch from the bottom right corner. Ch 1, sc into the same stitch and 2 sc. For the corner - 2 sc, ch 1, 2 sc. Then sc in each stitch and repeat the corner method until the row is done. Sl st into the first st and fasten off. Hope this was helpful!
