Favorite yugituber hands down. No annoying way of speaking, no obnoxiously high energy, no shitty combo decks that dont work outside of 3 test hands. Just a fantastic calming voice, charming personality, amazing deckbuilding skills, and skits that (no matter how stupid) always make me laugh. thanks for being a great channel.
I ended them with a herald of perfection build. Had like 10 negates back to back. Played through two DRN and 6 recurring backrow was super annoying but in the end they died
Played with toons for a bit. Here's some advice. 1. Take out extravagance. Toons are dark typs, and can run allure of darkness in their place. 2. put in magicians' souls for a free summon and to put TDM in the graveyard, since he's a level 7 spellcastor. You can also cycle your spells. 3. There are ways to get the TDM on the field outside of Toon red eyes. There's a spell that can special summon a spellcaster from hand or GY by paying 1000 life point, and there's a world legacy spell that's a discounted monster reborn (run some links). 4. Run toon mermaid. 95% of the time, you have access to your field spell. Get two of her on the field, and you can get a toadilly awesome through the shark. 5. Spell books can also be a good draw engine for the deck, since you're hardly using your normal summon outside of red stone. Toons are a long way from being META, but there are some niche things you can pull with them... And they're fun to play. :)

This is what I like about the older versions of adamancipator. Beast is, well, a beast. I'm playing a build that can consistently make: Crystal Wing + Buster Sword IP + Block Dragon + Union Carrier for Apollousa Naturia Exterio
@@Drilbit Keep them relying on Toon World but they need to have actual toon-specific effects. What is the point of Toon Ancient Gear Golem? Even if you want to build Toons for nostalgia he is at most a 1-of Garnet. They need to replace or add effects for the monsters. More Toon Dark Magician's and Toon Red Archery Girl's. And for the field spell thing make a Toon Earthbound Linewalker, so he basically counts as Toon World but can special summon himself. Then you just need tribute fodder and the deck is alright.

Tribute fodder ain't the way to go, though, cheating out the bigger ones with effects like page flip is a step in the right direction. For control variants, something to recycle the spells/traps from grave (TOON DMOC COUGH) would be useful, a link-1 or just a regular monster or other type of card to remove their summoning sickness (why haven't dark rabbit, bickuribox, parrot dragon and toon alligator had retrains yet?) and some sort of boss monster that you can get out of the deck or out of your hand easily. Toon BLS should've banished a toon from graveyard to summon, or from field since toon has so little usable monsters right now, but something else that could do that in the future could help fix the archetype, provided it's got a decent enough effect to go along with it. Something like "if you control toon world, negate x effect", or, if they wanted to make the effect as crazy as the archetype is meant to be, something like "negate x type of card depending on what toon cards you have in graveyard" or some other nonsense. Also, a going second toon build and you're not taking advantage of kaijus and shadow toon for some fun times? Really? Come onnnnnn. Kaiju-Shadow toon for 3k+->comic hand to take it back is hilarious.
they could give them something broken even though toons can attack directly and have a field spell where it’s hard as hell to kill the monsters or even try not to die but I guess they could get better toon support
Adding toon mermaid and toon harpie lady allow you to special summon from hand, which would give you the opportunity to do into more link plays and maybe a bahamut shark to then go into toad. Also toon golem is always a good boss monster
In duel links one of my fun alt decks is a Toon Girl beatdown with mild magician girl support. Even f2p, watching fully setup defenses crumple to a turn 2 Toon DMG x2 (no summon sickness) and attack for game is just too satisfying
I like for the intro spoof, MBT decided to play a childish kid who might also be a college student. For this, he has a california hat and a university shirt I'm almost sure he has never been to.
He is trying to test the bread and butter version of lists. Why spend a week trying to create a really niche weird decklist for Toons? Especially when either way it often makes the list worse (like that Adamancipator player's build.)

Finding out the best way to play Fortune Ladies was to splash Windwitch in was the most painful 5+ hours of my life. But slamming a Machina engine into Karakuri was a blast. And considering EBT's thoughts on Toons there wasn't any reason for him to do that. And the Adamancipator player is just playing a crappy version of meta.
@@SageShini While that is true right now, I do really appreciate when someone is able to encorporate two archetypes together and make it feel pretty natural like how I liked to run Sky Strikers and Zoodiacs together because they both relied on one monster in the extra monster zone or how Time Thiefs and SPYRALs both manipulate the top card of your opponent's deck. Toons can actually do quite a lot even going second with cards like Mimcat to steal your opponent's resources and the absolutely nutty interaction with Toon Harpie Lady and Harpie's feather storm which can actually be activated from the hand since it is a Harpy monster
halq combo for guardragons to grab red stone and proceed into powertool to search comic hand and use it for rank7 is a valid option for toons suprisingly enough.... if only it would get anything done^^
Summoning sickness is they can't attack the turn they are summoned in a lot of other card games as soon as you summon a monster it's not allowed to attack like in magic or in Hearthstone
I like to have Toon Kingdom in my side deck besides Set Rotation. Forcing your opponent to banish 3 fd to re-open their field zone is pretty fun, unless they play toons...

Toons are pretty depressing, giving them more consistency is nice but it's not like they can do anything of worth with it.
Toons need a boss monster with some protection and maybe more disruptions. Also some way of not relying on toon kingdom/world

Summoning sickness is they can't attack the turn they are summoned in a lot of other card games as soon as you summon a monster it's not allowed to attack like in magic or in Hearthstone
