Nathan Can You Help Me? I created a new object and i added to my game but my friends wants to add their game my objects as mod... Plz Help...( How Can I Convert my objects to gta mod)
Yo I need help. I imported an obj of the facility from Goldeneye 64 and scaled it down, exported as .dff and applied the collision model and everything. I open up the collision editor and i see my model is looking good with the collision around it, I open up MeD and I search for my dff to add and then MeD just crashes. What do I do?
two years late, but if the col model has more than around 2000 vertices or more than 5000 polygons, it'll crash. Though that sounds more like a texture problem, make sure all textures are 64x64/64x128/256x256/256x512 etc. Also make sure they're compressed in whatever txd editor you're using. If it's not that, I suggest exporting dff as it is, but for .col make a simple box. The object will have a wrong hitbox ingame (obviously), but if MEd or the game doesn't crash, then the culprit is the col file, and you have to remake it from scratch so it corresponds to your dff model shape. Also dff and col model must have the same name. Could have been a whole lot of things.

It varies each game. For example, with COD you can use "LIME" to get them and games like Spyro on the PS1, you'll need SpyroEdit and games like Smash Bros Brawl you'll need BrawlBox. There is no gauranteed way to rip these models, so it's best to search up a tutorial for that specific game.

Sounds like an LOD/IPL issue or the model is too big for SA or there's an issue with the TXD.
Can you upload a pic of the wall in MEd?

i made a custom road but if my player on it the player get dark like if ur standing in shade or something who can help
