Gotta tell you, up north, old school Sea Ray owners aren’t happy with the new design Sea Rays which are glorified day boats seemingly designed for the south Florida market. For years they built their reputation by making three season boats that you could overnight or even weekend on with a small family and had closed bows that could handle rough water on the big lakes and bays. They had a range of boats from 19’ for the new buyer but also had a range you could grow into over the years. Some of their most popular boats were the Sundancers from 24’ to 30’ and there’s really nothing that could match those boats in the current lineup.
yes so true. Totally agree with you, the new boats are "pretty." However, I will say still very strong and capable. We took ours to the Bahamas for a week. The video of that trip will be released in about a week. But I do get your point, the old closed-bow versions were called cuddy cabins and you could chill for night or weekend on the lake. For a million dollars I would expect privacy when I sleep . No curtains and or doors for guests . Still beautiful to look at .
Indeed, but now $1 million on a boat doesn't get as much as it used to. Very nice to look at, but not sure about being $1 million nice to look at!! 😎
Is volvo IPSA option with Sea Ray
It is not an option. Their inboard engines go up to the Mercruuser Bravo III 8.2L Mag HO with 430 HP. You can get this as a single engine or as a twin in their larger boats up to 40 feet. They can be optioned to have joystick. Since Brunswick boat group owns Sea Ray and Mercury, you are only going to see Mercury platforms in their boats.
Does Sea Ray make any boats in anywhere from 70 feet to 110 feet ? Have a great day
They do not. They are under 40 feet now. They used to make 50 feet and over, but cancelled that entire line about 6 years ago. You can check out the 510 Sundancer. They decided the market was too crowded and focused on the smaller vessels.
For boats in the 70 foot range and up you may want to look at Azimut and my personal favorite Ocean Alexander. If you are going to buy, let us know. We would love to film a subscriber's purchase and delivery!

Indeed it is...I did the more garage path for a while. It was fun cruising, but I truly have enjoyed the more boat option because the whole family and friends can go along and we can all enjoy. I made the mistake once of saying...less wife, more boat! 😎
How did you guys meet?
We met online during the Covid lockdowns when you couldn't go anywhere socially. We basically spent all of our time together and on the water. Our first date was at a water side restaurant, her choice. I said, that's the girl for me!
@@sandbarserenity Yeah that's super important to have a girl that is into boating as much as you are. Mine hates everything about boating and it's the worst. I have the only girl on the planet that that doesn't like boats. lol.. Thanks for responding.
@richr909 So sorry to hear, I know that pain when you can't share your passion. I'm sure you have tried everything! Maybe show her our St. Augustine boat trip video, and in two weeks we have a Bahamas video dropping. For us, these two videos are not so much about boating as they are creating beautiful moments together and having quality time that just happens to be on a boat. Our trip videos are not about fishing, but rather finding peace in life and togetherness, which, again, happens to be on a boat. This is why we called the channel Sandbar Serenity. Wish you the best. @@sandbarserenity We are in the upper Chesapeake Bay area in MD. We do the sand bar style of boating as well. That or go to one of the many dockside restaurants in the area. I'm not into fishing at all. I can't think of a worse way to spend a day lol. Too boring for me. I like beer, music, sand and plenty of women in Bikini's around my boat, no fish lol. Nothing better!

When you say Brunswick sports good company you're talking about the people who make bowling pin these setting machines that's a odd thing to get into is yacht building when you basically deal with bowling
Actually, I am talking about Brunswick boat corporation. They own 15 boat brands including Boston Whaler, Sea Ray, Harris and more. I am not referring to Brunswick the bowling pin company. Although, their boats do knock down waves so maybe there is a little crossover...😎
Alright you get a Walk in shower instead of a wet head when you bump it up to the 370
The 370 is in a different class than the 320. Everything is really a level up. If money is no object then 370 all the way. But, you can get by nicely with a 320 Sundancer.
