Anne Boleyn got a really raw deal, and Natalie Dormer smashed it. She is the best actress to portray Anne. She showed her at her best and worst. She showed her vulnerability and her bravery during the execution. Go Natalie. Love you in all the parts you have played.
The saddest part is that Natalie dormer knew the end of ann Boleyn she had real feelings and emotions she embodiment of her I mean that this a future self knowing her fate and I think she felt it all threw out the show knowing how it ended 😢😢😢❤

This was my very first introduction to Natalie Dormer so I was THRILLED to see her again as Margaery Tyrell in Game of Thrones. Perfection in both roles, born to play royalty.
I think he would have executed her regardless. He was a psychopath who loved killing his wives. Perhaps other women too, but nobody knows about them. He tried the same with Cathrine Parr but she was really masterful in dissuading him. And Anne of Cleves and Cathrine of Aragon had both powerful relatives back in their countries so it was harder to execute them. He executed the two women who didn't have powerful relatives, they were both coming from English noble families with no military power. Otherwise I think he would have executed all, as the serial killer that he was
@@Ariana-wv4pf What a bullshit.Henry has executed two wives of him, because they have commited crimes against him.Anne was talking openly about the king's death, which is already something she would get punished by execution. Her enemies made up other accusations against her,it was not Henry who has invented the supposed infidelity. And Catherine was writing love letters to other guys. It had nothing to do with these women's families,if he could break with Rome (he,the former "Protector of Catholic Faith"),he would have easily face with Spain or Germany,if he was executing his wives "for fun".He sent Catherine away into poverty, because she was not helpful about their marriage's annulment. And later he was generous to Anne of Cleves,as she accepted his will, and he was thankful. He was just an average guy of his age (from this point of view),he did not treat women different from anyone else.
It's overlooked how much Thomas Boleyn invested in and respected Anne over his other children. Her brother and sister weren't given the same advantages and opportunities by their father.
History claims Anne was "arrogant"... But i disagree. How many times was she supposed to supplicate herself to the men in her "family" when she well knew it was SHE who's head was on the line? She was intelligent, cunning and vulnerable at the same time. Thomas Wyatt knew it as well. They thrashed her own plans of marrying a minor noble like Henry Percy so she set her sights even higher. Refusing Henry's offer of "official mistress" was her most brilliant chess move. All the "ladies" who came after her... Copied her example. From Jane Seymour to Katherine Howard to Catherine Parr. Bessie Blount & Mary Boleyn shortchanged themselves in Anne's view, and i agree. Never let a man dictate your WORTH. Especially when you are the one risking your life (yearly) in childbed ❤ She was not arrogant...she simply knew her worth From her recorded words in the tower of london "I must thank the king. For he has so raised me from a common maid to a Queen. And now he will raise me higher...to the station of Martyr" And ... She was RIGHT 😂❤
There are no surviving portraits of her from her time. There is only 1 on the coin from Anne's times, but it's not in a perfect condition, so in reality we have no idea what Anne looked like. The rest are later works done by people who never even saw her. It's impossible to judge someone's beauty if we don't know what that person looked like.
@@lailabel5443 I'm not saying Natalie is not beautiful, and probably you are right, but as I stated it's not possible to judge the looks if there is no real evidence of how Anne truly looked like.
Only Anne Boleyn was executed with a sword as far as I know. As far as unfair death sentences go, execution by sword was a ‘favour’ granted by Henry to ensure a quick death as execution by axe gave rather variable results (look up Mary Queen of Scots and I’m sure hers wasn’t the first to be a bit bungled!)

She didn't deserve to lose her head, but she was a bad person imo. Poor Katherine. She literally rode into battle 7 months pregnant and defeated the army. She actually loved Henry. She was the only one who did. 😢
By herself, too. All the male soldiers were standing aside, looking at her. She was able to defeat the other army with her bare hands. Then she gave birth right then and there and the kid applauded his mommy along with all the rest of useless soldiers. One brave woman.
It's ridiculous how people are worshipping a Spaniard who spoke little to no English in her life as the queen and was a disgrace of a queen, arrogant and incompetent, she couldn't keep England's alliance to Spain which she was sent to do. She didn't ride to the battlefield and "defeat" the army with her "bare hands according to real history. What a load of cringe here

Why were some of Henry's wives beheaded by an axe and other by a sword?
Because that was means of execution in medieval England
