I love that this game leaves lots of room for creativity with playing it I hate that I have to play it on a Nintendo switch with drifting joycons and can’t run right. I love the variety in types of characters in smash in terms of types of games. Many of the characters have hidden depth and at least are well-animated. I hate that half the characters on the roster feel like they play the same or aren’t fun (looking at min min, toon link, and sonic. These characters are not well designed for a number of reasons)
I feel like this game has been slowly falling into the dilemma of: "If Nintendo doesn't care and love the game, why should we" Mostly cuz they won't ever fix stuff no matter what, even when patching this game as of now. Probably cuz they're focusing on their next one. And it's sad
I really do think subspace was a better storymode when compared to world of light but my favorite part was being able to play as Master Hand i would lose the fight on purpose so I can keep playing it to much fun just beating up cpu's.
Im not even on elite smash with my main Wolf only Bowser for some reason because I can’t be bothered get in i’m privileged to have locals and friends offline who play.
ultimate really is a shining example of excellent concepts with awful execution. GSP being an interesting way to categorize players and also acknowledging progress but terrible netcode, characters having interesting gimmicks but being horribly lopsided and unbalanced, and the community being so tight knit but incredibly draining to participate in. but really that's what makes it so unique in the first place

This Game isn’t perfect at all, when it comes to characters, movesets, Stages or even World of Light, in general most of these things especially movesets NEED changing for better representation of a lot of these characters. But the one thing I have great respect for is what this game is as a whole.
I agree! The game as a whole is genuinely a great time and not to mention basically timeless to play when you have friends over and just wanna have a good time, I think if you’re playing this solo though I could see where people start having problems
For me Banjo just plays lame, I always expected him to be more of a brawler with some projectiles but they made him more of a Zoner and for Steve it’s more on the competitive scene where I got a problem with him, great character but WAY too OP
