  • Hey GlamFam! In the last video I showed you how to do wand curls for beginners: • How to Use a Curling W... BUT this time I am showing you how to turn those wand curls into Hollywood beach waves! This is a really popular look right now and is sure to turn heads, no matter the occasion!
    Here is what I used in this tutorial:
    Mannequin (This is an alternative to the one I used in the video, I have a pivot point mannequin. They are harder to find and much more expensive.): amzn.to/2HXImfl
    Rattail comb: amzn.to/2IiwzHN
    Rusk Deepshine hairspray: amzn.to/2rpxjkM
    And here is the link to my shirt, totally unrelated, BUT I always get asked! : amzn.to/2KLC686
    If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to ask! I hope that you find this video to be incredibly useful and helpful! Until next time GlamFam, Stay Glam!!
    You know I love you boo,
    Linwood
    This description box contains affiliate links, which means, if you make a purchase after clicking, I am able to earn a small commission. This in no way influences my recommendations, as I only show things in my video that I actually use and like. I believe that you work too hard for your money to waste it on products that simply aren't worth it.
    As always, thank you for your continued support!

      So this style can be done on black hair?

    • @GetGlamFam
      @GetGlamFam  6 років тому

      Yes, it can, but depending on the hair texture, less teasing if any can be necessary. For finer textures, the teasing is absolutely needed, for more coarse textures, the teasing is less needed.

    This was sooooo helpful! I had a client went i first started who made a comment about me taking "such a long time" and i was devestated at myself. And since then ive always rushed through my styling in fear of hearing that again. But this video made me realize that its worth taking the extra time for the small details and to get it just right. So thank you so much!

      People don’t rush singers or painters why do they rush us? They’re gonna b wearing our art! Do they want beautiful art or they want a mess? Do they want their $ worth or not? I can’t stand those clients. I don’t want them find someone else please. The anxiety they bring to me. No thanks

    I love it Linwood!! Thank you thank you thank you!! I think I can do this!! Yey!! Also, would you do a tutorial on how to integrate a hair piece to something like this? I’m not sure if that is even what you call it 😂 but just like those added sections of hair or the ones that are on an “invisible” ring? (Don’t put me on blast- I know I sound green lol) but I like that for added volume and I’m thinking of buying one. Have you done a tutorial on those yet? I LOVE all the wig tutorials. Allison is so gorgeous and cracks me up!! Thanks again for everything. I’m a super GamFam fan!! 😘

    • @GetGlamFam
      @GetGlamFam  6 років тому +1

      Like tracks or micro links? Or are we talking tape ins, halo extensions, or clip ins? Lol there are a good degree of options 😊

    • @andreawelch9808
      @andreawelch9808 6 років тому +1

      Wow!! I had no idea!! I’d love to hear what YOU would recommend for the most natural look that won’t cause breakage. I’m no pro but I love playing with hair. I was always interested in the halo ring (thank you cuz I had NO idea what it was called lol). I have seen those live at expos and love how even the coverage and natural they look. I think it would be so fun for more volume and just vavoom in general! 😊. Would you consider doing a tutorial or those (all or one) options you mentioned? Thanks! ❤️

    • @GetGlamFam
      @GetGlamFam  6 років тому +1

      The easiest at home option is the halo extensions, but the tape in extensions are the flattest and most seamless 😊 at some point I’ll be sure to do videos on them 😊

    • @andreawelch9808
      @andreawelch9808 6 років тому

      I’ve never heard of tape ins. But that’s not surprising 😂. I’m going to google it and just see what those are. But the halo seems easy and I think easy is a good place to start for me. Thank you Linwood. 🙏🏽

    Hello, loved the video. I was curious tho, you mentioned that you have to remove teasing the right way to not damage hair so my question is, what is the right way? I’ve always hated teasing because my hair would just become a knotted mess when I try to take it them out. Can you do a video on the proper teasing removal/care?
